This was such a wonderful cottage- perfect to take a toddler but also kept our ten year old very happy too. Lovely, lovely owners who were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were really well thought through- lovely outdoor play equipment and playhouse and the pool and games room were both brilliant. Well equipped for any age. It's perfectly located to get across to instow and we spent two lovely days on the beach and i'm sure there are lots of other places nearby if you were staying a little longer. It was a quiet, beautiful and peaceful setting, so even though a holiday with a toddler rarely feels like an actual holiday, we all had a lovely time and felt thoroughly chilled on our return home. Would highly recommend. Katie from Exeter (09 July 2017)
This place is wonderful for families. we have two small children and a dog and it completely catered for us. we liked that it was a slight bit out of the way and so amenities aren't directly on your doorstep as it means you have some privacy and seclusion. with that said, anything that you need can be got within a 5 to 15 minute drive. the place has its own pool, game room and outside spaces so regardless of the weather you have things to do. its location in north devon gives you an amazing amount of choice of things to do and places to go. really rate these cottages. James from London (10 June 2017)
Hi if all the owners were like jill and paul the uk holiday trade would be fully booked. They was not told I had disabled and they bent over backwards to help me. They were so help full to all who stayed there. If it was disable friendly I would go back there again. . on your chart they can only get 60 I would make it 100 over 60. . clive maskell Confirmed Guest (27 May 2017)
Absolutely lovely place would definitely recommend and will hopefully be making a return visit! great for kids and the dog had fun too good location for trips out to explore beautiful devon Rachael from Dewsbury (22 April 2017)
Such a fantastic place! we couldn't have had a more comfortable and relaxing week and can't wait to book the next break! Bonnie from St. Albans (23 September 2016)
Nice accomodation and very welcoming owners. The facilities were very good with the pool and hot tub making up for the poor weather. . would recommend it without hesitation. John from Dover (25 June 2016)
At the price we paid during term time, this cottage is good value. it is everything you could want or need for a first holiday with baby and pet as the scores indicate. however, having looked to rebook during the peak season summer holidays, we consider the hugely inflated price to be a ridiculous increase and will not be returning. Helen from Worcester (26 March 2016)
Amazing, perfect for our first family holiday. Clean, just enough space, fully equipped, even a high chair and cot, friendly owners and a well kept heated pool! highly recommend Sam from Plymouth (04 March 2016)
An excellent property with so much to see and do around for all ages. . . the property was very clean and very comfortable. . the facilities were very good with a great warm swimming pool. . . the owners couldn't do enough to help you. I would highly recommend the property. Vikki from Wiltshire (20 February 2016)
Great holiday home. Owners made us feel very welcome. Best set up and facilities we've seen! Perry from Bletchley (06 June 2015)
Had a fantastic week at kingfisher cottage with our 3 month old baby and 10 year old labrador! both the cottage and communal facilities were spotlessly clean. Furnishings were of a high standard and the linen and towels were a lovely quality. Great access to dog walks from the doorstep but only a short drive to gorgeous beaches and countryside walks when you want to go off exploring. There was a huge freshly baked cake and drinks awaiting us, but we did find that we should have brought more kitchen items from home than we usually need to e.g. Condiments, sugar, jar of coffee, foil etc to keep us going. Not an issue that in any way detracted from our enjoyment of the holiday and with the baby's things had tried to pack light! the conservatory, pool and games room were fantastic to have and had the areas to ourselves. There was also a laundry room with freezer, games, cds, dvds, all the leaflets & booklets you could need on local walks and attractions and even beach toys to borrow. Loved how much thought and attention to detail was put in. In all, very peaceful and quiet with wonderful views and pretty much everything you could need. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to visit again. Louise from Bristol (20 March 2015)
I would highly recommend kingfisher cottages as it is a beautiful location with fantastic facilities and very close to the big sheep and milky way which my 2 year old loved. We were greeted with a warm welcome and will definitely be visiting again. Dean from Guildford (03 October 2014)
Amazing!!! Louise from Stevenage (23 August 2014)
We had a fantastic holiday at robin hill farm. The kids enjoyed the playroom, the swimming pool and the outdoor play areas. The view was stunning and it was near to local beaches. Loved the homely cottage, the swimming pool was fantastic and my son loved it. He had the freedom to run around and play in a safe environment, we would definately go back again. I also loved the home made lemon drizzle cake, bottle of cider and apple juice and pint of milk, it was really like a home from home. Jacqui from Bonnyrigg (30 June 2012)
A fantastic place to go, very child friendly. We loved our cottage, especially as you could go for a swim in the warm, clean, indoors pool, every day, sit in your garden and watch the kids play at the park and have a gorgeous view too! It felt like a home from home, with a fresh home made cake, cider, apple juice and fresh milk all waiting for us on arrival. Loads to do even when it rained, dvd’s, games and books and the kids (big adult ones too) can play the wii on the big screen. I would thoroughly recommend these cottages, we will definitely be back! Customer 20 (June 2012)
We have a 3 and 4 year old and found this property ideal for their age group. Well away from roads and cars we were able to relax and enjoy the amenities. The pool and games room being a real plus for rainy days and saves you money. We will go back. We felt like we were out in the sticks, but actually not far from a supermarket, so best of both worlds! Customer 21 (March 2012)
Had a lovely time at the cottage. The owners were very helpful with their recommendations on things to do, and also very flexible and accommodating with our requests. It’s a great location to explore the surrounding area. Another plus is the countryside feel just a few miles from the beach. Customer 22 (December 2011)
The facilities and the swimming lessons were exellent. Customer 23 (June 2011)

Lovely location, nice extras on arrival - homemade cake, local cider, milk, tea, coffee, very safe for children. Customer 25 (August 2010)
Although the accommodation was small, this was as described on the website. The accommodation had brilliant facilities. Cottage was well kitted out and there was also a children’s play area, pool and jacuzzi on site. Excellent for families. Customer 26 (July 2010)
The accommodation provided all the facilities that we required, it was clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped. The extra little touches (e.g. wine, milk, cake, tea, coffee) made all the difference - very much appreciated. Customer 27 (June 2010)
It was very good, clean and comfortable. The landlord was very friendly. Customer 28 (March 2010)

The cottage was in a perfect, tranquil setting with beautiful views. The facilities were superb and we used the swimming pool every day which benefited my youngest daughter’s swimming immensely. There were also lots of local attractions that we visited. At the end of the holiday no one wanted to go home. Customer 36 (August 2006)
