Keepers cottage is such a lovely little cottage. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely book again. It's stocked with everything you need so my advice would be to just take clothes and food. Has pots and pans. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more. Love that we could take our dog with us. He loves the beech. Lucie from Longstanton (28 July 2017)
We really enjoyed our holiday and the cottage was lovely. However,we did find it a little bit on the small side and you would have to be careful getting out of bed in a hurry in case you banged you head on the wall where it jutted out. the courtyard was tiny and we had to get dressed and go round the lanes to let our dog out for a wee. the cottage was very nice though and perfectly clean and good for a short stay. the pub was about a mile away and the fish and chip shop was closed on sunday and monday, however there was a pizza van locally (if you like pizza). the spar shop was good to have but typical of a local shop quite expensive. the area was very good if you had a car and you wanted to travel around each day and see the different areas which we did. we loved the area and thought it was very picturesque and clean really nice. you cannot take you dog in the pub by the way so hopefully the weather good so that you can sit outside. I think overall the cottage is lovelyand tastefully done but a little small especially for a longer stay. Jacqueline from Stafford (15 June 2017)
Had a fab time really easy access to the coast for truely brilliant dog walks would really recommend David from Huddersfield (12 June 2017)
A well equipped cottage. But the description on the web site is misleading. The cottage is cramped and claustrophobic. With the only view being the roofs of other properties. the beach is a 10 to 15 mins drive away. We felt hemmed in and left after a few days and got a caravan David from Burnley (19 May 2017)
Really nice quaint cottage. Will book again. Area itself, like going back 30 years. A real joy. Everything we needed in the cottage was thought of and available. Local pub food a bit of a let down but just up the road, the duck inn was fantastic. Lee from Lowestoft (30 April 2017)
Perfect location for walks along the beautiful nearby beaches. Quiet . homely Susan from Bearsted Kent (18 February 2017)
Loved the cottage. Made to feel very welcome and there was even a little treat for the dog too! would recommend. Amanda from Ravenstone (12 February 2017)
Excellent cottage and location for a november bird watching break. John from Bristol (21 November 2016)
Cottage was well appointed but far too small, especially the bedroom as it was extremely difficult to get round the bed without hitting your head on the sloping wall. Philip from Derby (14 October 2016)
The only things that faulted this cottage was its lack of wi fi and a phone signal. Perfect otherwise. Ken from Louth, Lincs (16 September 2016)
Very nice little cottage in lovely location which is very convenient for costal beaches and walks - would have been great to have squeezed a washing machine in though (maybe in the shed outside?) all in all great for a weeks holiday and yes would book this little cottage again. Michele from Milton Keynes (26 August 2016)
Perfect for that bolt hole break. Everything uoy need within a 10 minute drive. Just remember to stock up on supplies before getting there as no shop in the village Pete from Milton Keynes (29 July 2016)
Small and cosy would stay again . Rashid from Rotherham (10 June 2016)

Lovely cottage, lots to do in the area. Shelly from Ipswich (27 May 2016)
Perfect cottage for 2 people Confirmed Guest (06 May 2016)
The cottage is very small but nice. Compact with no frills. Dvd player does not work not even by following the hand written instructions. The village pub is not good. The fish and chip shop in the village is also not good. Paul from Buckingham (22 April 2016)
A lovely cottage. Well equipped. Can get to all parts of north norfolk easily. Nice friendly neighbours Richard from Belper (24 March 2016)
A pleasant cottage for two in a nice part of norfolk. Handy to explore the coastal areas but slightly inland. There was only one shop in this large village but it was very well stocked so unless you wanted something exotic or unusual it would be fine for most peoples needs.there was a fish and chip shop in the village , though we did not use it so cannot say how good or bad it may be. Mary from York (22 February 2016)
Lovely little cottage that gave us everything we needed, even provided a torch so we could see to walk through the dark village at night, excellent. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. Sharon from Sudbury (19 February 2016)
A lovely cottage in a great location. Would thoroughly recommend Jenny from Hertfordshire (03 January 2016)
Lovely little place. Although did miss wifi and phone signal Carol from Leicestershire (09 November 2015)
Couldnt fault anything just what we were looking for Robert from Nottingham (02 October 2015)
Very clean but lots of notes reminding us to do such things as open bathroom windows and ignore the smell of wood in the kitchen cupboard! Christina from Gloucester (28 September 2015)
Lovely cottage in great location with everything you could need. Very poor mobile signal in the area meant lack of wi-fi became a real frustration. That would be the only thing putting us off staying again. Alison from St Neots (18 September 2015)
Lovely and comfortable .musty smell upstairs coming from the mop bucket and draws/cupboard next to the cooker.had to use air freshner every day..went to have a game of scrabble but wasnt any letters inside so couldnt . everyone was friendly near by .could do with some plastic bowls for the mircowave ..but over all had a lovely stay Teresa from Uppingham (11 September 2015)
Great little cottage in a central location to explore most of norfolk. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back again. Adnan from London (04 May 2015)
A pleasant cottage, small but quite adequate to our needs, and the village of docking has a good and well stocked village shop as well as a chip shop. David from Measham (01 May 2015)
Me and my girlfriend had a lovely time staying here. Nicely furnished, although a different arrangement than usual with the kitchen upstairs, it was surprisingly comfortable. Location was ideal, only a few minutes drive from hunstanton and wells next to the sea where we found plenty of places for lunch and shopping. Everything we needed was available even milk and tea ready for us on arrival. Very approachable and helpful owners. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We're looking forward to staying again in the future. Jamie from Lowestoft (17 November 2014)
Lovely cottage (quirky in that it's "upside down". ideal for 2 people and 1 pet. very nicely furnished and very clean. nice touch was a doggy bed and towel and there was even a complimentary dog biscuit! tthis was the first time we'd stayed in a cottage where pets are allowed, was sceptical about it having a "doggy smell" but as soon as we opened the door you wouldn't know any pets had been there. More for a short break than a full week. Sherieda from Derby (22 September 2014)
Found the downstairs (bedroom/bathroom) just a bit too small but the living area was adequate. Jenny from Hungerford (19 September 2014)
Was very happy with the cottage once we got access. Main problem was no detail on how to use the key-safe, we were unable to get in at first, and then were unable to get through to the owner for advice as the o2 network does not cover docking or much of norfolk! when I banged up a nieghbour and got through to the owner's number on their mobile, then she was not available!. the phone box in the village did not work either! this was really not good enough, we were 200 miles from home with perishable food items in the car, and we could not get access. Eventually I hit on what I had to do and got the key from the box. Also the owner gave us inaccurate directions to the property. It was on east lane not east street. So this rather marred our whole experience, although we could not fault the accommodation itself or the location. Confirmed Purchaser from Bristol (05 September 2014)
The cottage is small but is comfortable and well appointed. The description on the website is accurate so its limitations in terms of space, as well as its facilities, are honestly outlined. We enjoyed our stay, liked the area and found docking a convenient "jumping off" point. We would certainly book keeper's cottage again if we decided to return to the same area. Shirley from North Leicestershire (22 August 2014)
A nice cottage in a good location, well equipped. Graham from St Albans (16 June 2014)
Lovely little cottage. Bijou but perfectly formed Colin from Leicestershire (05 May 2014)
Really enjoyed the holiday at keepers cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. Good location for exploring the beaches. Loved it! Diane from Alton (18 April 2014)
Nice cosy comfy little "upside down" cottage. short of nothing. even a hairdrier and iron were available if required. . Amanda from Bradford (02 December 2013)
Excellent! Paul from Stevenage (08 November 2013)
Nice cottage in good location. The double bed leaves the room very tight and we were constantly banging our legs and heads on surrounding furnishings. Also the cottage was not that clean when we arrived. Lovely cosy feeling at night after a day exploring. I don't think we would return. Anthony from Walsall (20 September 2013)
Nice cottage for 2 in a pleasant village with a shop. We knew the area and found it fairly central for what we wanted to do.cottage has a good upstairs lounge/kitchen with all we wanted. Down stairs bedroom is a little small & we felt squashed in and was the only let down. Anthony from Rotherham (06 September 2013)
This is an unusual cottage ("upside down") - well furnished and well kept. It's in a quiet corner of a quiet village. This was a second visit - i'm sure there will be a third. Roger from Altrincham (02 September 2013)
Tidy, clean, welcoming. . nice village, store, chip shop, surly pub landlord. Very hard bed, held up by a bit of wood underneath. Otherwise furnishings good. . overall good, but not great. Paul from Bedford (30 August 2013)
Very pleasant 'bijou' property in a quiet and peaceful location. Generally well equipped but there was no hairdryer (calamity!) which was a surprise for a property of this quality that was otherwise so well-equipped for its size. Confirmed Purchaser from London (19 August 2013)
The cottage is ideal for a couple wanting to explore the north norfolk coast and surrounds. The local pub, railway inn, provides good food at reasonable prices. I would certainly stay there again. Liz from Bolton (16 August 2013)
We visited keepers cottage to celebrate our 10th anniversary , which we enjoyed our first night there in village pub the railway in (great food) ! we wanted a more relaxed time by the coast a stated cottage only 4 miles away that sounded lovely as we don't drive but we do not drive and it happens to be 4 miles by car and about double that if you don't want walk down a road with no path . we walked there and the only cab station that anyone new was guyana cars that charged us £20 for the 4 mile journey . not very relaxing ! we made the best of it but it would be great if things were advertised if they were suitable for non drivers as we had no idea that we wouldnt have access to anything as no local taxi 1 pub chip and spa for evenings was all we had during the day we hired bikes to go to other villages and towns that had mor because there is nothing in docking . first impressions of cottage nice bedroom but cobweb in bathroom and dirty draws in kitchen the smell upstairs put me off of going up there so would watch tv in bedroom . Cherie from London (02 August 2013)
Location was good. Decor was warm and modern. Nice fluffy towels provided Di from Reigate (29 March 2013)

We had an excellent trip, it was our first holiday with our 8 week old son. The cottage was a perfect size and very comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend it to any couple or family with a baby. Customer 56 (October 2011)
Close to great beaches, we walked most days small but everything we needed. Customer 57 (June 2011)
The cottage is beautiful inside, cosy and comfortable with a modern touch. Customer 58 (December 2010)
Unusual upside-down cottage with the bedroom downstairs. It was clean and plenty of equipment to cook with.Handy for the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell Marsh. Customer 59 (October 2010)
Very, very quiet and peaceful location in a delightful village. Cottage spotlessly clean on arrival and well equipped for two people. Unusual but practical layout with bathroom and bedroom downstairs and kitchen/dining/lounge area as a gallery upstairs. The whole property tastefully decorated with some artistic touches. Very well situated geographically for countryside and coast. We loved it and have already decided to return next year. Customer 60 (September 2010)
Pleasant little cottage. Customer 61 (July 2010)
A curiosly refurbished upside down property. Customer 62 (July 2010)
We arrived on a cold dark evening. The cottage was lovely and warm which was wonderful. We felt at home straight away. The furnishings and pesentation was modern but comfortable. Customer 63 (February 2010)
The cottage was light and airy as well as being comfortable. The kitchen was well equip[ed and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Customer 64 (August 2009)
Very well situated for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Layout unusual but made the best use of the space available. Customer 65 (August 2009)
It was very nice. The bed was very very good. Had a good nights sleep. Cant fault any thing. Customer 66 (May 2009)
Excellent weather and location for bird watching, which is always good in February in Norfolk. Snowy and cold but mostly clear blue skies. Good, clean modern (inside) and cosy accommodation. Would recommend. Customer 67 (January 2009)
Perfect surroundings and accommodation to suit our needs. Close to places of interest, beaches and other villages for eating out and shops. Accommodation was very clean, well decorated and suited for a couple on a short break. It was equipped with everything you would have in your own home which made for a comfortable stay and the cottage was very light and airy. A great recipe for a relaxing, wind-down break. The weather also helped as it was lovely, warm and sunny. Customer 68 (July 2008)
Very good location, lots to see and do, was able to visit more than one beach. Customer 69 (June 2008)
