We had a fantastic holiday at ivy cottage. Mundesley is a quiet, family orientated village, great park, skate park, wonderful beach. The cottage had everything you could possibly need, kitchen is better equipped than mine at home!! lots of thoughtful touches by the judith the owner including a welcome basket with milk, victoria sponge cake, fresh ground coffee and a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. Judith was great, living next door meant she was available for anything we needed but never interfered with our holiday. There were extras that you wouldn't expect from a holiday cottage including bits to take to the beach for the children, more towels than you could ever use, toiletries, cleaning, washing liquids etc, dvds, books, games, it really was a home from home. Thank you judith, you have a beautiful cottage in an equally beautiful village! we will definitely be back. Georgina from Harlow (28 July 2017)
A lovely holiday cottage in a very peaceful area close to the beach. Dog friendly places in eat and the beaches are too. Christopher (21 July 2017)
Cottage was well presented, a generous welcome pack was a great start to our break. The cottage is very characterful and we found the quality to be of a high standard. Our stay was somewhat disturbed by the property next door being renovated, builders were active all day everyday with heavy machinery, meaning we couldn't spend time in the garden. The property opposite was also being renovated, we found ourselves surrounded by builders lorries, vans and some plant machinery. We feel that it would have been much fairer to be made aware of the disruption before booking as the works limited our enjoyment of the property. Alex from London (02 June 2017)
Beautiful place, very dog friendly. Fairly central for visiting and days out. This cottage is cosy, very well presented and welcoming Barbara from Northampton (28 April 2017)
Brilliant family break definitely be back perfect cottage! Dawn from Rayleigh (03 April 2017)
Excellent cottage with some wonderfully thoughtful touches both for us and our dogs. A cliché but definitely felt like a home away from home. Probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Rob from Ripon (31 March 2017)

Fab cottage ,we have stayed in many others, ivy cottage our favourite. Loved the little touches such as flowers in the dining room and treats plus a bed for our dog. We had such a relaxing week highly recommend. Janet from Sleaford (21 January 2017)
Lovely cosy cottage. Perfect for the 5 of us. The aga was a challenge but the cook books helped enormously! welcome pack was gratefully received. Owners were next door but we didn't need them as it was all so easy and comfortable. Great for the dog too! . perfect! Confirmed Guest (07 November 2016)

Wow! superb cottage with a fantastic welcome pack and everthing set up for our arrival including dog bed. Our holiday started the moment we stepped through the door! judith & duncan incredibly accommodating. Thank you! Melanie from Hampshire (12 August 2016)
Beautiful cottage, every detail considered. My hubby loved the garden room. . judith left a wonderful welcome pack that catered for us all including our dog. Dog beds, bowls etc were all provided which was less for us to pack :-) . the aga seemed daunting but actually was fine, I managed not to poison us. We have booked again for 2017 Bridget from Nottinghamshire (05 August 2016)
What a lovely cottage very comfortable especially the beds! the cottage was very tastefully decorated and everything was provided the owners had really thought carefully about their guests. The courtyard at the back was equipped with table chairs plus two easy chairs plus a sun room which had a tvs, sofa etc very useful as we had a young baby with us . it was lovely to have our dogs with us they were well provided for too. The situation was good for walking to beach and shops and part of the beach allowed dogs . the only down side for some people was parking for car was across the road but the owners allowed you to load and unload from their drive . one other small thing was the front garden and courtyard had weeds in but I suppose it is difficult with change over days . we would stay again the cottage was charming ,and ideally placed for exploring north norfolk Rachel from Sawbridgeworth (29 July 2016)
Amazing cottage! beautiful decor, great space and lovely to have front and back garden to benefit from morning and evening sun. Worked well for us with two young children with lots of kit provided. Judith really welcoming and available if needed. Walking distance to thevillage, pub and great beach. Would thoroughly recommend. Confirmed Guest (13 May 2016)

Judith made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely weekend break and will defiantly go back. Julie from Woodbridge (29 February 2016)
Lovely homely holiday cottage with everything we could possibly need plus little added extras too. Super comfy beds and great location for walking to the beach. Only down side was the lounge smelt a bit doggy and this was probably more noticeable to us as we didn't have dogs. Confirmed Guest (22 February 2016)
Wow, like a home from home..and more. Comfortable, cosy, warm. Just right! Lisa from Coalville (19 February 2016)
Beautiful cosy cottage. It was a real home from home. Judith had thought of everything and more from a welcome pack to dog beds and treats. We did not want to leave and will definitely revisit Ann from Bedfordshire (15 February 2016)

Ivy cottage was lovely, met our needs perfectly. Ruth from Northampton (04 January 2016)
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by judith, who left a fantastic festive welcome pack - even the dog had some treats! the cottage is delightful and cosey but not at all cramped (five adults and a german shepherd). mundesley is a quiet village and the walks on the beach are great. we hope to return in the future. Allison from Kent (28 December 2015)

A lovely cottage with excellent facilities and a short walk from the beach. Ideal for families with small children. Alison from Letchworth (28 August 2015)
A fantastic cottage, so thoughtfully prepared and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Emma from Shropshire (14 August 2015)
We spent a wonderful week at ivy cottage with our children aged 7 & 5. The cottage was the best holiday home we have ever stayed in! it was spotlessly clean, had everything you needed, had an abundance of storage for clothes, a hug bathroom with plenty of towels to use & judith left us the most generous & gorgeous welcome basket of goodies, as well as a wealth of information on things to do & places to go in the area. the owners are next door, judith came to see us when we arrived to ensure everything was ok & to provide further useful information & after that they were never intrusive but on hand should we have needed them.the parking is across the road but this really was no problem at all as judith allowed us to park on her drive for unloading & packing up. The lovely beach was a 10 minute walk with a swing park, skate park & crazy golf on the way. we all had a truly lovely, relaxing holiday. Mundesley was a super place to stay & the cottage provided a real home from home. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank you so much for everything :-) Sarah from Fleet (07 August 2015)
Lovely, well equipped cottage on the edge of mundesley. Comfortably appointed with lots of extras, car access is limited. Liz from Loughborough (29 May 2015)
Loved everything about ivy cottage and would recommend it to friends. The owner judith went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Tracey from Northampton (01 May 2015)
Another fantastic week in this comfortable well equipped cottage. Customer 34 from Ipswich (10 April 2015)
This is a most charming cottage which made us feel quite at home. The property had everything we needed and more including a very substantial goodie basket and cold prosecco in the fridge! our dogs were also well catered for with a bed, bowls and a welcome box of biscuits. We liked that the garden was well enclosed for the dogs and kept private from the owner who lives next door but is not intrusive at all. The property was well maintained, bright, clean and had plenty of space for a family. We loved that their was plenty of storage, lots of mirrors and hangers in the wardrobes, all of which are usually lacking in other properties we have stayed in. the area is beautiful, good for dog walking and the beeches are lovely. We would highly recommend this cottage and will likely stay again in the future. Heather from Rochester Kent (15 March 2015)
We had a wonderful break. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for, well equipped, very clean, comfortable, beautiful and a real home from home. We couldnt have asked for more. Ten out of ten for everything. We will be rebooking for the spring. Alyson from Cambridge (11 November 2014)
Loved this cottage. Will be back next year for a peaceful get-a-way. Mark from Bristol (07 November 2014)
This is a lovely house which was very well equiped to a high standard. We loved having the extra sitting room and tv for our teenage children to use. Alison from Bingley (31 October 2014)
We were made very welcome and the owner was extremely helpful when needed. The cottage was excellent and had virtually everything one could want, even dog beds and dishes. The welcome pack had excellent basic provisions. The beds were very comfortable and a lot of attention had been paid to small details. All in all a lovely cottage in a lovely area. We shall return. . Maggie from Bury St Edmunds (10 October 2014)
We really enjoyed our stay at ivy cottage. Judith the owner was really helpful showing us round and we thought the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We would recommend the cottage to friends and family as it is beautiful. The aga was wonderful to cook on and I bet in winter it's a real treat as is the log burner. The cottage was well equipped and judith has thought of everything. Thank you for a lovely relaxing break. Helen from Halifax (30 September 2014)
It is not often you stay somewhere when the actual cottage is better than the photos on the website. we had a great time and won't hesitate in making another booking next season. Our two year old particularity liked the skittles! thanks judith. Patrick from Norwich (05 September 2014)
Fantastic relaxing week at a beautifully cosy well equipped cottage- so much care and attention has clearly been put in to making ivy cottage a wonderful holiday home. Anya from Ipswich (29 August 2014)
A great ;location - a short walk to the beach and village amenities. a very friendly and accommodating welcome - but no intrusion despite the owner living next door. great facilities in the cottage - outside and inside. .there was nothing not to like. we had a fantastic family car-free holiday week, enjoying the aga, barbecue, comfortable beds, a bit of tv, mundesley festival and the local beach, shops and very reasonable cafes. highly recommended. Kevin from Dorking (09 August 2014)
