Great cottage and fantastic location. Perfect for dogs. Very peaceful place for a holiday and exploring the norfolk coast. Nicholas from Lincoln (23 June 2017)
Fantastic setting, couldnt be better, upstairs brilliant, kitchen a bit small, could do with a bit of love and affection also in living room, more plusses than minuses. Kevin from Waltham Grimsby (16 June 2017)
It was a beautiful cottage. It was set in a great location close to loads of beaches and sandringham. . . the cottage was well equipt and we loved that the linens were all top quality. . the only draw back was the kitchen was tiny but it had everything you need. . . the outside space is massive. It has a fenced in area which was handy for letting our dog out. But there was also more woods to look around. . . the only thing that would make it better would be to have a hot tub on the patio. . . it was a good stay and we all enjoyed ourselves! Felicity from Leeds (12 May 2017)
Lovely cottage. Great central location. Would highly recommend. Confirmed Guest (14 November 2016)
A beautiful little cottage which is nice and cosy, especially for 2 people and the location is ideal if you also like visiting the surrounding area Christopher from Mansfield Woodhouse (23 September 2016)
We love, love, loved our week away in this beautiful cottage. so much so that we have booked again for next year already! a very restful week, kids and dog loved the space in the garden too. Clair from Chatham (02 September 2016)
Kitchen, sitting room small for two people couldn't imagine six people staying and being comfortable. Price too high for that reason, however upstairs bedrooms cosy and a good bathroom. Mary from Corsham (22 April 2016)
The cottage was lovely.the setting was lovely looking out on to the fields one slight thing we had a washing machine but no line to put the washing on l would visit the cottage again Rose from Ivy Cottage Norfolk (25 March 2016)
Lovely, lovely, lovely! Katie from London (22 February 2016)
This property was wonderful. We had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. We had five people and one dog in our party. The outside garden was great for the dog. Kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were spacious in the cottage. On the whole we thought it was enjoyable and would definitely return. Kelly from Sudbury Suffolk (03 April 2015)
Delightful cottage, very quite and lovely places and beaches for dog walking. Brian from Wickford (23 March 2015)
We loved the cottage & had a thoroughly enjoyable stay there Richard from London (10 October 2014)
Whilst the accommodation provided was in accordance with the description we found the showering arrangements totally inadequate. The other major drawback was the virtual absence of anywhere to store non chilled food items. The refrigerators and freezers where also poorly located (one in the boiler house and one in the sitting room). otherwise the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Alan from Stillington, North Yorkshire (01 August 2014)
Fantastic weekend in a lovely, quiet setting. Cottage very clean, beds extremely comfortable and all facilities in situ. Would definitely recommend staying at ivy cottage. Sylvia from Huntingdon (24 March 2014)
The cottage was in need or redecoration. It looked tired. Cleanliness was not a very good standard. Had to clean the fridges and sweep lots of cobwebs out of all the rooms some of which I think had been there for a while. Lounge area very basic and poor signal for tv. Didn't care much about having fridge in lounge area. Outside lighting not working. On a positive note the bed very comfortable. Plenty of equipment in kitchen. Nice secluded area and beautiful view but not very friendly neighbours leading up to cottage!. Deborah from Sheffield (04 October 2013)
Beautiful location shame the bed sheets were not clean!!! in fact the mattress and pillow protectors hadn't been cleaned for a very long time, we cleaned them ourselves I think cottages 4 you need to revisit!! Confirmed Purchaser (30 August 2013)
Had a lovely time there, it's a beautiful part if the country. Rob from London (23 August 2013)
Excellent quiet location. Bouncing lambs in filed 10ft from front door - wonderful. Lovely building and thick walls retain heat so you will never be cold in winter and suspect it stays cool in summer months too. Small enclosed garden area is very useful. Good parking available for 2 cars. Good location able to see a lot of norfolk and surrounding areas. Would we go back - indeed we would Confirmed Purchaser from Liverpool (03 May 2013)
Very comfy beds & luxurious feel to property. . our 2 teenage girls loved their room & used the property for their "photo shoots" !. many places for walks. Bernadette from Colchester (22 February 2013)
Nice cosy warm cottage, lovely views, very quiet, bed very comfy. Hilary from Leiston (04 January 2013)
Beautiful cottage and gardens. not too far to drive for local beaches Karen from Biggleswade (06 July 2012)
Location, room size and decor. Garden great if it hadn't been raining. Emma from Preston (20 April 2012)
A traditional country cottage in a rural setting, yet close to local shops and amenities. Lovely bedrooms with very comfy mattresses. Would be useful to have a book of instructions for various appliances (e.g. microwave, boiler, TV, etc.). Information provided on local restaurants was useful, but misleading regarding distances. (It was obviously compiled for a property some miles away ... the ten minutes quoted to get to one restaurant turned out to be half an hour, so we were very late!). Customer 23 (June 2011)
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage was well equipped and beautifully presented. The only thing that may have been useful would be instructions on using the dishwasher - although we did manage to work it out in the end! Customer 24 (March 2011)
The accommodation was of good standard and was correctly described. The views were lovely, a cosy cottage away from it all. Customer 25 (February 2011)
