Lovely cottage. We found lots of cobwebs particularly in kitchen over cooker. The grill didn't work and the frying pans were unusable as non-stick surface scratched off. We bought one in morrisons for £6, this is something that could be done on a regular basis. There was rubbish in the bathroom bin from previous guests. . however we would stay there again and hope that thehousekeeping had been done. Nice pub 4 miles up the road. . good location for snowden, llyn peninsula, anglesey and north wales coast Josephine from Northampton (30 March 2017)
Comfortable cottage in a fantastic location for walking. Warm and cosy. Great if you want to get away from it all. Sheena from Cheltenham (28 October 2016)
Even though I have rated this cottage highly. lovely place in a lovely location. . the cottage next door was in the middle of a renovation and the noise generated from this work at 7-8am in the morning totally ruined our honeymoon. Confirmed Guest from Barnsley (22 April 2016)
Communication with the owner was great. The house was in a great location for the mountains, beaches and castle hunting. It was warm, comfortable and well presented with the on road parking not causing any issues all week. Great place and we will return. Carl from Exeter (09 April 2016)
A lovely little cottage, right on the quitter side of snowdonia. no welcome pack, firewood etc was a shame, as after a 6 1/2 hour journey I had to drive around to try and find wood or coal to burn at 6pm on a saturday..miffed! Phil from Wadebridge (02 April 2016)
Beautiful location with the lake behind and the hills in front. the cottage is in the snowdonian national park so also a short drive to the fantastic mountains. the cottage was comfortable and suited our needs. when I phoned about the key I got through to the key holder immediately and he was very friendly and helpful. Confirmed Guest (20 February 2016)
Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely views and walks from the front door or a short drive away. Martin from Kidderminster (11 September 2015)
Didn't go much on the cleaning there were spiders in every corner and webs. Sauce pans need to be renewed and frying pan as they have lost their non stick. Sarah from Eastleigh (04 September 2015)
Really lovely comfortable cottage in a brilliant location for both mountains and sea with gorgeous views at the back. Would definitely recommend. Emma from Aylesbury (08 August 2015)
If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful location, this is it. I stayed for a week and had no problems at all with this cottage. There's no mobile signal, but has working wifi, if you need it. Peter from Bristol (23 May 2015)
Lovely cottage. Fabulous view over lake. Easy access to lots of attractions.enjoyed every minute. Avril from Bridgend (01 May 2015)
Loved my stay. Very clean and well kept. My only small gripe was the heating was almost non existent even when set to maximum. Of course if you are staying in the summer it would not be an issue. The log fire is great however and I would definately stay again. Sean from Manchester (06 March 2015)
Wonderfully relaxing. Spectacular setting overlooking the lake. Ideal location for exploring snowdonia and beyond. We come and stay in isallt every year. It's our home from home. Tom from Slough/Berkshire (18 October 2014)
For us, being hill walkers, the location was ideal. Martin from Kidderminster (05 September 2014)
The cottage is situated in a very quiet location with stunning views at the rear of the property. It was a very well equipped place. dvd's, cd's, board games and books in the lounge. linen and towels supplied. no mobile phone signal, unless you walk down the road. The property was located in such a place that all the activities we had booked were roughly an hours drive to get to. Genise from Chichester (23 August 2014)
Nice relaxing area, cottage had everything you needs for a holiday, the view from the cottage to the lake at the rear was exceptional. We would stay again. Seamus from Hertfordshire (09 August 2014)
Excellent holiday. Would definatly recommend the property. Location was perfect as close to the coast and right next to the best walk have done in wales - the nantle ridge walk which starts from the left hand corner just befroe entering rhy ddu (coming from nantlle - gravel car park on the right hand side of the road) and ends in nantlle. Had 2 couples and a dog during the stay and the house was plenty big enough Jason from Bevan (28 June 2014)
This house was clean and comfortable and well equipped. However the odd extension at the back of the house blocks natural light, making it gloomy even at midsummer. It was a nuisance to have to go out of the kitchen and downstairs to the fridge and we were disappointed that the lake could not be seen from the garden. Jill from Manchester (07 June 2014)
A good place to stay for a holiday Confirmed Purchaser (10 May 2014)
Really enjoyed our stay there, amazing views! great if you love to explore hills/mountains as they are right on your doorstep. Caretaker really friendly and helpful, my only negative thing would be a chilly bathroom and a hot water tank that doesn't fill a bath fully but compared to everything else they are minor quibbles. Jane from Salford (21 February 2014)
A wonderful home from home with amazing views, everything you need for a relaxing holiday, will definatel;y go back Confirmed Purchaser (26 October 2013)

Lovely old miner’s cottage. Very close to Snowdon. Customer 29 (June 2012)
The cottage was well-equipped and the beds were superbly comfortable.Although Nantlle was quiet and off the beaten track it was central for all the places we wanted to visit. We visited Port Meirion, Mount Snowdon, Llangollen, Beddgelert, and Bodnant Gardens in our log weekend as well as visiting a slate mine. Customer 30 (November 2010)
