Home from home experience. Owner very welcoming, giving good advice on local area attractions. Best feature was the log fire - such a treat to sit with family and relax in front of an open fire enjoying a glass of wine. . fresh flowers on arrival - lovely thoughtful touch. We would all love to visit again soon. Simon (29 July 2017)
Fabulous place to come for a holiday. Me and my family had a magnificent week John from Bolton (08 July 2017)
Great cottage in a great location! Michael from Plymouth (01 July 2017)
A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Susan from Norwich (07 February 2017)
Beautiful cottage with equally lovely people that own it. Grace and her family made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond what would be expected to help us with a chosen activity. Wayne from Stockport (29 January 2017)
Spent new years eve weekend here and absolutely loved it. Our 8 year old was particularly fascinted with the secret window, old etching on the window sill and the cows and the calves that we had to visit every morning. It took us rather a long time to leave as he had to say goodbye to each and everyone!!!! Andrea from Staffordshire (02 January 2017)
The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped and the owners are friendly and helpful. It is convenient for caernarfon centre which is a pleasant walk along the menai. but there are no views from or privacy to the cottage. It is advertised as bein.g adjacent to the owners caravan site which is not strictly true as it is part of the caravan site. In addition it became apparent through the week that the cottage has a damp problem as clothes which were hung up actually felt damp when putting them on and as the week went on started to smell fusty. Andrew from Skidby (10 September 2016)
Great location and owners very friendly and helpful. Grandchildren loved the location and walking distance from the castle and town Pamela from Bacup (23 July 2016)
Our week's stay was very relaxing and the cottage was clean and tidy and well equipped. it was a perfect location for walking to caernarfon every day (about a mile). the only downside was that you are a little overlooked from every window so don't have much privacy unless you keep all the curtains closed (the bathroom window opens onto the owners entrance and car parking area). . . the garden is not private at all and the furniture could do with being replaced and an umbrella would have been nice with the table and chairs on the decking. . when we were there the dishwasher was a little temperamental and could do with fixing. . all that aside, I would recommend as it was very peaceful and a beautiful setting being near the sea - it could just do with a little more privacy. Janet from Felixstowe (11 June 2016)

Had a lovely stay at is helen cottage, weather wasn't the best but it didn't stop us having a good time. Great location too with only a 10-15 minute walk to the castle and shops. A great base to explore north wales. Sarah from Dukinfield (29 August 2015)
Lovely location and cottage. Very helpful owners. Ken from Derby (27 March 2015)
Had a lovely short break for new year. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and was always at hand to help if needed or just to recommend good places to visit. The cottage was well equiped and very clean. Just having the fire on so that when we arrived it was warm was lovely. Would definitely recommend and stop again. Clare from Birmingham (03 January 2015)

Lovely cottage, could do with basic items in kitchen such as salt, pepper and more than one towel between the two of us but overall cottage was lovely, cosy and warm. Jayne from Harrogate (21 September 2013)
Excellent cottage with everything we needed. Location couldn't be better in a working farm setting with a great view across the fields to the menai straights. The owners are really friendly and helpful, we lost tv reception during bad weather and they came and reset it straight away. We will definitely stay again. Richard from Warrington (03 August 2013)
Location, near to many things in the area, good views, enclosed garden, the dogs could run around. Michael from Bagshot (29 Jun 2013)
Gorgeous cottage in a fantastic base location. Very pet friendly and the wood burner was greatly appreciated to warm up chilly evenings. Angela from Widnes (27 October 2012)
Excellent location, it was about a mile walk by the sea to get to the town and castle. it's on a farm so really quite (a part from the odd 'moo' from the cows). the cottage was clean and comfortable with a wood burner which made it really snug. there were heaters in most rooms too. the family who own the cottage were very friendly. Kirsty from Leeds (20 October 2012)
It was cosy and comfortable, the log fire very welcome because the weather was poor, the owner lived next door and was extremely helpful and pleasant. Customer 28 (February 2011)
The owners were very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The property had a lovely warm, homely feel and the real fire was great! The surroundings- mountains, fields, sea and castle- were magnificent and it felt like a home from home. We can’t wait to return! Customer 29 (January 2011)
The cottage is wonderfully sited near the coast and away from the road, but just a short walk into the centre of Caernarfon. We enjoyed the seclusion, the convenient parking and the wonderful views. Being on holiday in early November we particularly enjoyed returning to a woodburning stove in the evenings. Finally, we were very glad to be able to bring our cat. Customer 30 (October 2010)
Property ideally situated for visiting local attractions eg. beaches and historical sites. Customer 31 (September 2010)
Very spacious living space and attractive decor. Good size kitchen and bathroom. Lovely garden which was enclosed and safe for our daughter. Beautiful surroundings and location. Customer 32 (August 2010)

Gorgeous cottage and ideal location. Very friendly welcome from the owner, highly recommended. Customer 37 (October 2008)
This cottage is in a great spot. Two minutes walk to beach, and 15 minutes walk to main town. Yet it has the away from it all feel. Customer 38 (October 2008)
