We had a lovely time from the moment we arrived until we left. A great warm welcome from david who also checked on us a day later to ensure we were ok. The pictures do not do this cottage justice, the cottage is as described, if not better, and has everything you need for a relaxing week away. The outside seating area is lovely, catching the sun all day and was a delight to sit in from morning to evening. Holt with a budgens supermarket is just 3 miles away, (take a £1 coin for parking, refundable if you spend £5), and the high street has an array of pubs, coffee shops, deli's etc. We will definitely be back again in the next couple of years. A comfortable clean cottage in a great quiet location. Cameron from Howden (05 August 2017)
We had a lovely week in this delightful cottage. The courtyard garden was secure for our dog and a real pleasure to relax in too. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to travel far as so many interesting and attractive places were just a few miles away. . . we hope to return in the future. Thank you. Lesley from Northampton (17 June 2017)

It is in a good location with los to do and see.it is a small but comfortable cottage.the owner is very helpful and shares lots of good places to visit. Maureen from London (06 Jul 2013)
My elderly mother and I flew up from cornwall to norwich and stayed for a week. very nice people and a friendly welcome, good place and warm especially with that north east wind. quiet even though near an a road. very good central location for north of county or further afield. comfortable cottage for a couple with children or one couple on their own. we couldn't take our dog but its a good place with safe garden for them. large pond just a few yards down the lane with ducks but be warned they and their ducklings expect to be fed! we had a hire car and its easy to get around. quieter roads and slower traffic for the most part. not a bad thing but very few supermarkets around, nearest is probably morrisons just outside fakenham but local garage has a shop for most basics etc. local farm shop/restaurant "back to the garden" is a great place to shop and eat. beautiful country - holt is a nice little town and nearest. Get the steam train to sherringham on the coast, pretty ride and you can leave your car at holt for free. the whole area is well worth the visit. would go again and stay at hunt cottage. Vanessa from Hayle (08 Jun 2013)

As we had been before we felt at home right away, never felt it was a ’holiday let’. Owners very friendly and helpful. Most important just across the main road fresh strawberries raspberries etc on sale every day during season - never tasted any better. Customer 51 (June 2010)
Ideal location. Lovely friendly village, home from home! Will go again. Customer 52 (March 2010)
We liked the layout of the rooms and the books in the bookcase as well as the enclosed patio/garden area. The village houses and country roundabout were attractive, and the cottage was only a short drive away from town. There was very little noise from the nearby main road. Customer 53 (September 2009)
Very good location for major tourist attractions / beaches etc, nice and quiet, great country lanes to stroll down in evening. Owner very friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely book there again. Customer 54 (August 2009)

This property is lovely and comfortable, and surprisingly roomy. The owners are very friendly and helpful, with lots of information should you need it. Very attractive cottage, and very homely, well positioned for visiting the whole area. Customer 56 (July 2009)
Hunt Cottage was perfect for us with our toddler age son, as the courtyard garden is fully enclosed and the property itself all on one level, meaning our son could safely have the run of the cottage and outdoor area. I can recommend the property whole heartedly to parents of any children in this age group. Customer 57 (July 2009)
An excellent centre. Well recommended. Exceptionally clean. Extremely nice and helpful host. Customer 58 (May 2009)
The cottage was perfect for a nice break, my collie loved the garden and there are lots of fantastic local walks. Bygones in Holt should not be missed. Customer 59 (May 2009)
The owner couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The cottage is of a very high standard and beautiful. Customer 60 (February 2009)
On interior inspection Hunt Cottage is much better than the exterior photos portray - we would recommend more extensive photography. Also the property is very easy to find and has a uniquely convenient location just yards off the A148, yet remains quiet & secluded. Customer 61 (March 2007)
