All round very good Warwick from Croydon (22 April 2017)
We had a really lovely holiday in gwyndy, we all loved the cottage with its secluded location and wonderful views. sheep and horses were the nearest neighbours!. . the bates family. Confirmed Guest (29 October 2016)
We had a great week. Excellent location for so many places - snowdon, the nantlle ridge, nant gwrtheyrn and tre'r ceiri, betws-y-coed, caernarfon, bangor, anglesey, the lleyn peninsula and, last but not least, lovely mynydd y cilgwyn just above carmel village - what a fab location for a great view. . and the scones provided by the owner were delicious. Thank you very much/diolch yn fawr. Gwenda from Aberystwyth (27 August 2016)
We had a very inspiring & interesting holiday in wales. The cottage is very peaceful and quiet so we really could relax. The sheep and horses around are the only real neighbours. Ann was very helpful! thank you so much for your hospitality after a long trip! Silke from Hamburg/Germany (30 July 2016)
We stayed at gwyndy in late may 2016. Prior to our arrival ann phoned us to confirm key location and gave us some good recommendations for places to go. on arrival tom was at the cottage and we had a warm welcome from him and details of where to find coal and logs if we should need them. What was particularly nice was that tom gave some some assistance in the event that our car hadn't shook off its electrical problem!. . the cottage was warm, clean and very welcoming. A really nice gesture were the milk, eggs and scones plus some handwritten notes from ann of a particularly nice walk linked to the history of the cottage. We quickly felt at home and settled into life at gwyndy. . . the cottage is well equipped, has nice gardens and the view to the west is fantastic. We didn't want for anything and very much enjoyed our stay at gwyndy. Whilst we have been to snowdonia on many occasions this was the first time that we had ventured onto anglesey and the llyn peninsula, and must say that they are two beautiful areas with coastal and hill walks and gwyndy is so well situated for these areas as well as snowdonia itself. . we arrived home quite relaxed after our holiday with two fit, but tired springers, who also enjoyed their holiday too. Clive from Bradford On Avon (28 May 2016)
Recommend this lovely cottage in a great location for all activities and tourist sites with amazing beaches near by Rosi from Abergavenny (31 October 2015)
We had a wonderful stay the cottage was ideally situated for all the places we wanted to visit and the view from the front door out across the bay to anglesey is stunning Graham from Paignton (26 September 2015)

Cottage warm and cosy. Views were fantastic. Garden safe for my escapologist welsh terrier. Linda from Burntwood (04 January 2015)
Great location, lovely old building. Would stay there again. Grant from Swaffham (23 August 2014)
The cottage and its location are great, very handy to snowdon, several great railways, anglesey, and numerous other intersting sites. The accommodation is good. The only failing is in the completeness or otherwise of the cutlery and crockery where there is definite room for improvement. Brian from Orpington (16 August 2014)
I think that as it sleeps 6, it should have a downstairs toilet Catherine from Watford (09 August 2014)
We had a very good holiday. gwyndy was very pleasant and well appointed. spotlessly clean with well maintained grounds. great for dogs. owners were great too, and had left a welcoming bag of home baked scones they even took the trouble to travel to us at short notice to fix the oven. good location to explore the surrounding are with spectacular walks straight from the house. . a few constructive points: the single bathroom could be an issue if the full complement of six people were staying (we were three so it was manageable), however, the relatively feeble shower is only just adequate given that there is no bath as an alternative. we could have done with a better selection of glasses. pictures on the website need to be updated to reflect the recently changed entry gate. . . tip to travellers - if you come into carmel from the opposite direction to those provided (cheers sat nav!)you'll never find it. stick to the directions and its a doddle! . . all in all we were satisfied and would recommend the cottage subject to the few thoughts above. James from Dartford (28 June 2014)
Lovely cottage and location. Heather from Derbyshire (31 May 2014)
