We had such a lovely holiday. When we arrived our host jill showed us the cottage and had even baked us a fresh lemon drizzle cake. It was superb. I wish we could have explored their farm a bit more but we only used it as a place to rest. Our dogs loved the cottage too. Sheri from Maidenbower (08 January 2017)
Really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic facilities and scenic location. Dinesh from Bucks (31 October 2016)
This property is in a good location, well equipped, very clean, and caters for all ages. Malcolm from Clevedon Bristol (07 October 2016)
We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage and grounds were beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning. . so much to do for the family around within an hour travelling. . we loved our stay! :) Lisa from Ashford Kent (09 September 2016)
We had a fantastic time at gull cottage. we found the owners to be friendly and helpful, the facilities amazing and the location really good too (seemed remote but within walking distance of a supermarket and an easy drive from the beach). we very much hope to return in the future. Teri from Woking (26 August 2016)
When we arrived jill the owner met us, she was very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was lovely, views were beautiful would recommend this property to colleagues, family and friend . thanks jill . from andrew, tracy and claire Andrew from Gloucestershire (30 April 2016)
We had a wonderful weeks holiday at robin hill farm. Gull cottage was extremely comfortable in a picturesque location in fact we would go as far as to say it was a home from home. Many thanks to gill and her husband for making our stay so enjoyable. We will certainly return and recommend to friends. Noreen from London (06 November 2015)
Great location, great cottage, lovely welcome from owners, great facilities. Would stay again. Harvey from Dustable (30 October 2015)
Well equipped, comfortable, clean and in a great location Bill from Worcestershire (09 October 2015)
Excellent property in excellent location! we normally avoid places where the owners are on site or complexes but booked this more for our almost 2 year old and it was perfect. . so peaceful, you wouldn't know there were other cottages or the farm house at all! facilities are amazing from pool, games room, outdoor areas to dvds that are available and even bucket & spades for the beach. Would certainly recommend, especially if more than one family are going as you can stay in separate cottages on the same site. Our six month old lab loved it too. Perect excerise field & woods/stream on site and lots of lovely beaches & walks in the local area!. can't recommend enough. Customer 10 from Cambridgeshire (02 October 2015)
We have just come back from having a lovely holiday at gull cottege and would defiantly go back again. . it is great for couples and families and lots of things to do for days out that are not to fare away and also some lovely places to eat out if you do not fancy cooking that are near by. Leanne from Northamptonshire (25 September 2015)
Lovely location and the owners are very helpful. the facilities are great as they help to make it an all-weather holiday!! great base to go and explore - lots of things to do and see near by. Alison from Pontefract (18 September 2015)
We had a brilliant week, the onsite facilities were fantastic. The children loved the pool and the play area. Abigail from Derby (11 September 2015)
Fabulous owners, really caring and thoughtful. Provision of extras in the home / complex was amazing. the conservatory next to the pool allowed a general space to sit, in the warmth but looking over the rolling hills. the games room had facilities for all ages, my daughter (aged 6) loved the wii and the pool table in particular. the information room also was helpful as we are new to the area. the cottages themselves were very well appointed and were spotlessly clean. our cottage was "upside down" so we had some views of the hills for the living area. The road up to the cottages is very narrow - but what do you expect if you want to be in the countryside. It takes 10 mins to get to the beach at westwood ho, which is lovely and family friendly; and is well placed for other north devon attractions. Confirmed Guest (04 September 2015)
Lovely place to stay. Good location. Friendly owners. Very clean accommodation! Catherine from Bucks (03 April 2015)
Absolutely lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Upon arrival you are made to feel very welcome and there was even a cake, bottle of apple juice and bottle of cider in a gift basket. Had a great time and would deffinately recommend! Vicky from Sidcup (05 October 2014)
Superb holiday cottage, has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing rural holiday. All the facilities were fantastic and in excellent condition. The swimming pool was great, lovely and warm, although we only used the pool & play room once because fortunately the weather was brilliant while we were there and we spent most of our days on coastal walks or on one of the lovely nearby beaches. the 'upside down' cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Great for dog owners - a very large field is nearby to exercise dogs. The owners were very helpful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend gull cottage and we will seriously consider rebooking. Margaret from Leicester (26 September 2014)
Jill & paul (owner) had pulled out all the stops to make our stay enjoyable. Everything is there apart from the obvious we had a large selection of dvd's if needed ordiance survey maps for your trips out. Beach gear to take with you. Coffee sweets and drinks for when you left swimming pool. We were looked after. Robert from Swanley (19 September 2014)
A good holiday cottage in a lovely position, though access is a little hairy. For four adults and a child the bathroom facilities I felt were inadequate. all other equipment was o.k.with plenty to do for adult and the three year old. on the whole a good week John from Solihull (09 May 2014)
Wonderful cottage and facilities. extremely warm welcome from jill. beautiful scenery and close to some lovely beaches. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others. Confirmed Purchaser (06 September 2013)
Once oriented the access to most points / destinies of interest in the north devon / north cornwall area from the cottage site was good. . cottage and complex had loads of charm and character and the proprietors were on site, attentive and friendly. Nice quiet rural location with views over the surrounding countryside , but not remote. . good amenities on site for everyone, families included, particularly the swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Bruce from Netherley, By Stonehaven (12 Jul 2013)
Swimming pool, games room, slide etc.. for children, beautiful views, peaceful location, attentive owners. Liz from Worcester (21 Jun 2013)

A lovely, unique property that was really charming and cosy. Customer 29 (March 2010)
Beautiful, secluded location, yet near to local amenities, friendly but unobtrusive owners, fantastic leisure facilities. Customer 30 (January 2010)
Stylish, homely decor. Facilities in cottage and environment fantastic. Easilly accessible beautiful beaches and great days out. Stuart and Margaret very welcoming. Would recommend and hope to stay again soon. Customer 31 (September 2009)
We had a fair amount of rain, but as there was an indoor pool and games room, as well as use of lots of board games and books, as well as a lovely conservatory to sit in, with magazines, coffee, chocolate in fridge (with honesty bar), the rain didn’t mean we had nothing to do when at our accommodation. We were in a good location when travelling to places too. While we were secluded, we were not out of the way. Nice decor, comfortable furniture. Very good amenities, washing machine, free use of tumble dryer, dishwasher. Towels provided. Bedrooms adequate size. Very good overall. Customer 32 (July 2009)
Brilliant location in any weather as so much to do with kids whatever the weather, i.e swimming pool and games room. Customer 33 (January 2009)
