Really peaceful week, the dogs loved the country walks and especially their day at old hunstanton beach nearby. Malcolm from Brighton (21 July 2017)
Excellent all round. only small lack was information on the washing machine and microwave. Luisa from Nottingham (14 July 2017)
This is the best cottage we have stayed in. gorgeous cottage with a beautiful garden, close to some lovely pubs with delicious food. we enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year! didn't want to leave! Jane from Uxbridge (02 June 2017)
Beautiful cottage in very tranquil setting. Martine from Milton Keynes (26 May 2017)
Beautiful well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for us and the dogs. Loved it so much we booked to go back whilst we we're still there! lots to do in the area. Gorgeous walks in sandringham and beaches. Sarah from Southwell Notts (19 May 2017)
Loved the cottage and surroundings and would highly recommend it for easy access to stunning norfolk countryside and coast. fell asleep listening to owls hooting both nights - bliss. very dog friendly. . slight downside as heating didn't come on and slow hot water meant we couldn't use the bathtub. Confirmed Guest (08 January 2017)
Overall a really lovely stay at gardeners cottage. It's the perfect place to explore the beautiful north norfolk coast. The cottage is lovely, spacious and welcoming. Aside from the toilet (see below) the house was spotlessly clean and very well presented. . couple of minor issues - there is no freezer (our fault for assuming there was one) and there were little/no instructions on how to use heating, dishwasher, where to put rubbish etc. Upstairs the main bedroom did smell of dog and the toilet constantly smelt of urine despite us cleaning it. I think carpet in the bathroom is unhygenic so smells are bound to occur. Like I said, minor issues but ones that could be easily sorted to make gardeners cottage a frequent holiday destination Confirmed Guest (23 September 2016)
The cottage and garden are beautiful and are to a high specification. there is a lovely garden grotto to sit in when you need shade or in the evenings. I could have easily sat in the garden all week but not quite the thing to do on holiday. the natives are friendly and I would like to spent time at this cottage again. the only reason I rated the cottage 9 is because there is no shower, just a bath with a hand spray thingy and my husband and I really missed not having a shower. Joy from Wimborne (12 August 2016)
Absolutely adorable cottage in a great location for exploring the west coast of norfolk. Would highly recommend. Julie from Kent (08 July 2016)
Lovely cottage, secluded peaceful setting. Shirley from Canterbury (24 June 2016)
We love our cottage holidays and gardener's cottage must be the best we have ever stayed in . it was very tastefully decorated , had a well equipped kitchen ( important as we choose to do our own cooking every evening ) , was extremely comfortable and ideally located in a pleasant quiet setting. There was plenty to see and enjoy in north norfolk too and we were fortunate to enjoy a week of good weather. Barbara from Woodford ,Cheshire (10 June 2016)
Beautiful location and comfortable cottage. Lots of walks and the norfolk coast close by. Gillian from Market Rasen (01 April 2016)
A great cottage lots of space and comfortable. Was disappointed not to find a hair dryer. Confirmed Guest (20 March 2015)
Had a lovely four days in norfolk, mainly bird watching. went round the rspb reserves. Margaret from Eastbourne (30 January 2015)
Nice cottage in lovely location, just in need of a little tlc and attention to detail. Wolden from Lincoln (13 June 2014)
From the outside the cottage looked lovely. the location was superb as it was close to all the places of interest. it was quiet there and it was lovely to see the rabbits, pheasants and mother duck with ducklings every day. . however, viewing the cottage online and seeing it in the flesh was very different. some of the plates and cooking utensils had to be thoroughly washed before use. the settee was not at all comfortable and was dirty looking as was the arm chair (which we did not sit in). the bed was very soft and not very comfortable. the bathroom was clean, however, I would personally not have carpet especially with the different people staying there. part of the handle on the toilet kept falling off and the knob on the bed was stuck on with blue tack and that also kept falling off. . the crocks and utensils were certainly left cleaner than when we arrived. . I most certainly hope that we receive our £50.00 holding deposit back very soon. . I think that in future we would most certainly go for a higher price bracket cottage; as the old adage says "you only get what you pay for" and I am sorry to say that I would not put this cottage in the luxury bracket. Lorraine from Kent (09 May 2014)
Well, we have been on lots of english holidays and normally we are very impressed not so much this time :( good: the location of the cottage is ok comfy beds the sheep in the field opposite were very cute bad: . sofa was filthy and very uncomfortable tub chair was worse! garden fence was broken and if you have a dog it would have gotten through to next door under the beds had not been hovered . the floor in the kitchen was dirty . there is no shower cubicle (and there is room for one) plumbing is very noise there was food stuck to the bottom of the plates! . the dishwasher was old and didn't clean properly the kettle had so much limescale we went out and bought one! the oven needed a blooming good clean - we ate out rather than risk it . there was something stuck to the microwave (not sure what though) . the fridge handle was missing. The hoover stank of dog and hadn't been cleaned out regularly enough. . anyway to sum it up we left early and we do not normally do that! . such a shame :(. . Cherrie from Cuxton (18 April 2014)
Excellent location, very well equipped comfortable cottage. We took our dog and the cottage has an enclosed garden at the back and was perfect! would recommend cottage for a peaceful relaxing break Adele from Chatteris (21 March 2014)
Very comfortable. Had to buy a receptacle for cooking with the microwave, but not a great problem. Lovely location, and very clean. Keith from Leicester (25 October 2013)
Lovely, cottage and location. Equipment in both kitchen and bathroom very scant. One hand towel between four adults no hairdryer and only one toilet roll !!. it would have been good to have salt and pepper and glass fruit bowls for example and not as many empty cupboards. Books too would have been welcome. Margaret from Abbots Langley Herts (20 September 2013)
More than one toilet roll and bin liner would have been appreciated. The location for all the wildlife and birding in north norfolk was unmeasurable. A stunning place. The photos of the cottage do not do justice to the setting, they should include a view to the front Kevin from Forest Of Dean (06 September 2013)
Delightful cottage. beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Teresa from Cardiff (05 Jul 2013)

Brilliant location for the coast and walking. Excellent rspb reserves nearby and plenty of good places to eat. The cottage is set in a wonderfully quiet area and is spacious and comfortable. Lovely and cosy and warm when the weather turns cold. Yvonne from Tutbury (05 October 2012)
Easy parking, quiet location, lovely views and within short distance of beaches and towns. Cottage clean and modern. Roger from St. Albans (07 September 2012)
Secluded at the end of a gravel drive, plenty of outside space. Owner was very kind at swapping out feather for synthetic pillows at our request. Huge bathroom. Comfy beds. Matthew from Leyland (01 June 2012)
There’s something for everyone not far away. Customer 31 (May 2012)
The cottage was in an idyllic setting, very peaceful and private. The facilities within the cottage were very good and the layout suited our small family needs. Great for dog walking and some excellent pubs nearby. We would recommend to friends and family and would book again (and we are very fussy!). Customer 32 (April 2012)
Lovely property, well located to lots of activities, great beaches, fantastic family holiday. Customer 34 (July 2011)
The cottage and its location is lovely. We enjoyed seeing the sheep out front and being able to play with our dog out back. Only drawback was no shower, only a bath. Also, I would advise you to bring your own cleaning dish and laundry soap as none was provided. Customer 35 (March 2011)
