We spent a week in july at this beautiful country cottage on the webbery manor estate north devon this year. It was a last minute booking so we had a very good discount which was worthwhile, and made the value for money even better; having said that, even at full price we would have been pleased all the same. The location is so peaceful, no traffic, just the noise of local wildlife and the odd tractor, so perfect for anyone looking for complete relaxation. The cottage was well equipped and beautifully furnished throughout, although I would have liked to have had more comfortable sofas in the lounge, as the very grand looking knowle style ones were not very comfortable for any length of time, and we did miss a bath in the the shower room, but the shower worked very well and served its purpose. There is a fantastic tennis court with its own pavilion which we made good use of andwe felt a great asset to the property. The garden cottage has its own door out into one of two splendid walled gardens, where residents are welcome to pick the homegrown produce to use at no additional cost, providing wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables according to season, and you will very often see the wonderful owner katy labouring away in her garden and she obviously loves this past time and it shows in the beautiful gardens that are all around the estate. The location is great for nearby north devon coast and beaches, and you can easily get to central devon in 30 minutes from here, too. There are several other cottages on the estate of various sizes, but you still feel secluded and are not disturbed by anyone most days. Both katy and her husband kevin are wonderful hosts and will assist with advice on where to eat, drink and explore as they have a wealth of knowledge and are great to chat with. We would definitely return again and would have no problem recommending the cottage and estate to others! Paul from Nottingham (22 July 2017)

Location excellent, very friendly owners and welcome pack. Slight problem with condensation, but that was due to it being an old building with modern heating.
