Excellent cottage. Very homely. Only slight downside internet was very intermittent. Kim from Reading (11 February 2017)
Unfortunately did not realise how close to main road. Very noisy. Few problems sorted once we got hold of the right person. Sofas in sitting room need replacing. Lovely garden for dog but needs weeding and some up keep. Kitchen very well equipped. Bathrooms excellent. Spotless on arrival. Confirmed Guest (27 August 2016)
This property was perfect for us. spacious and comfortable. John from Leigh-On-Sea (13 August 2016)
It was a lovely cottage and a home from home. Rural feel, yet 3 to 4 miles to king's lynn and close to the sandy beaches for our dog walks. Steve from Virginia Water (21 May 2016)
What a find! the photos do not do justice! we are coming back! Gregory from Bromley (14 November 2015)
Had a wonderful week. Plenty of places to visit and interesting things to do in an area we didn't know very well. The cottage was well presented and comfortable, with everything we needed. Were disappointed not to have the makings of a cuppa on arrival considering the price! Sue from Rugby (31 October 2015)
The cottage was amazing, warm, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We loved it. Thank you. Lyn from Buckie (17 October 2015)
The cottage was amazing all mod cons and lots of little extras that made it feel like home. The garden was perfect for my two small dogs . the staff were so friendly as if we were all friends . we hope to go back next year and take some other members of our family . we had a lovely holiday Helen from Wheathampstead (05 September 2015)
It was lovely. However, there was no phone reception indoors and the wifi was exceedingly slow. Confirmed Guest (25 July 2015)
Excellent property, the only negative being that it is close to the main road., but we knew that. Richard from Page (04 April 2015)
We found the cottage was extremely comfortable and well presented. Our main concern was the safety of our dogs and the perimeter fence was perfect.. there was some traffic noise but this wasn't a problem. . also the property is adjacent to a caravan site and access is via a gate which proved handy for supplies. Geoffrey from Oldham (30 August 2014)
This is a lovely clean bungalow spacious for everyone and the dogs. Shame it's located on the a47 as the traffic noise isn't what we're used to (as we live in quiet areas) but it was quieter at weekends. . it's lovely sitting outdoors when the weather's warm. staying in middleton is fine to visit places in west norfolk, but a bit far for the broads and east norfolk. On the plus side we were spoilt for choice for local shops and restaurants; you won't starve!. there is poor mobile signal reception and internet access is temperamental which is frustrating. It's enchanting watching the rabbits visit the garden when they think the coast is clear. Bo from Hertfordshire (14 June 2014)
Very enjoyable owner very accommodating + helpful Stella from Leigh On Sea (22 February 2014)
Lovely cottage, well equipped. Perfect for families. Some road noise from the nearby main road but not an issue for us. Lovely big garden enclosed by fences/hedges/gates. . care needed when driving through the main gates of the property as there is a concrete and metal fixing for locking the gates into. You need to get this judged correctly to avoid damage to your tyres. Lisa from Stirlingshire (01 February 2014)
Well appointed and clean, and close to kings lynn. Angelo from Ilford (28 December 2013)
Fantastic cottage, beautifully furnished, immaculately clean. We were a mixed generation group grandparents, parents and children, the two living room areas were a distinct advantage, the gardens were lovely with a cottage feel, lots of lovely bunny rabbits running around, which my children lovely to watch. Julie from Hampshire (31 August 2013)
Friendly & helpful owners, very clean and well equipped. One of the best we have stayed in. We would recommend it. Trevor from Birmingham (20 April 2013)
Very clean and comfortable. lovely garden especially for the dogs who were also allowed to run around the camping field next door. Warm and cosy - it was very cold outside when we stayed. Angela from Eastbourne (03 November 2012)
Spotlessly clean and ideal accommodation for my husband and myself + 2 elderly semi disabled mothers and 2 dogs. lovely big well kept secluded garden which the dogs loved. very helpful owners. Pam from Gillingham Kent (15 September 2012)
Property is well equipped and very spacious. Owners were very friendly and helpful. William from London (01 September 2012)
Spacious. very clean. nicely decorated. lovely garden. Gloria from Lowestoft (16 June 2012)
Well equipped, spacious cottage. Good location, enclosed garden which is ideal for children and pets. Customer 22 (July 2011)
A beautifully maintained cottage in a private garden, centrally heated and next to a caravan park where essential groceries such as fresh milk and butter can be purchased as well as the daily paper. The owner of the cottage and family members who run the caravan park are always accessible and very friendly and helpful. Customer 23 (June 2011)
Good Property and helpful landlord. Has good wifi and Freeview TV. Nice gardens and privacy. Close to main road. Good central location for west Norfolk , Kings Lynn and coast and east Lincolnshire. Customer 24 (April 2011)
The property is fabulous, i would recommend it whole heartedly. Customer 25 (March 2011)
The property was very well presented and very well equipped. There was plenty of space inside and the garden was excellent for 3 children to play in as it was very large and secure. First rate. Customer 26 (February 2011)
Very well appointed. Good quality furnishings. Good bathrooms. Customer 27 (January 2011)
Spacious, clean and very well appointed. Fresh flowers and chocolates were a nice touch. Owner called and visited to ensure all was OK. Customer 28 (September 2010)
Ideal for a family of 6 - lots of space - you didn’t feel as if you were all on top of each other. Customer 29 (August 2010)
Beautiful cottage with good eye for detail. Very clean and well equipped. Wish all cottages were of this standard. My only wish would be that the BBQ was clean and ready for use; which meant we did not use it. Customer 30 (June 2010)
Spacious, immaculate accommodation, ideal for the extended family and dog. Customer 31 (May 2010)
The property was beautifully modernised with much careful thought given to furnishings and decor. This cottage was much more of a family home than a ’holiday cottage’. Very comfortable, light, airy and spacious. Even in November this cottage was warm and welcoming. Customer 32 (October 2009)
The property was total en-closed and therefore very privet with car parking space behind 6ft doors and although only yards from the main A46 it was very quite (with road noise). Customer 33 (July 2009)
Gamekeepers cottage was a fantastic place to stay with children as property was spacious, comfortable and child friendly. Ideally placed for Kings Lynn and Norfolks beaches. Customer 34 (February 2009)
The pictures and description did not do this propery justice also some of the furniture had changed and it was better than anticipated. It was perfect for a winter’s break, so cosy and warm, we will definitely come back. Customer 35 (December 2008)
The best property that we have rented. Customer 36 (November 2008)
The quality of the cottage exceeded our expectations, the photographs don’t do the cottage justice. It’s location is ideal for exploring a wide area with access to all major routes. Customer 37 (November 2008)
The property was spacious. It was lovely opening the conservatory doors leading into an enclosed garden, which meant there was privacy. Customer 38 (June 2008)
This was our second visit to Gamekeepers Cottage and we will be back again next year. Excellent!!! Customer 39 (February 2008)
Excellent cottage, well presented and in good location, close to amentities and attractions. Customer 40 (February 2008)
Gamekeepers makes an excellent base for the area. A better appointed cottage we have yet to find. Great base for spring and autumn - good heating and plenty of room to spread out. Hasta la vista. Customer 41 (February 2008)
The property was 5*. I would recommend to anyone. Will return again. Customer 42 (February 2007)
