To far out no amenities in village at all garden was lovely the dog really enjoyed it no beach access due to the high cliffs nearest access to beach was two and half miles away at overstrand Lynne from Rossendale (22 July 2017)
We enjoyed our stay at fir tree cottage very much, superb garden which our dog thoroughly enjoyed, we would certainly recommend this property. David from Derby (15 July 2017)
Unfortunately we picked the worst week for the weather.we came home early as my wife not only sight impaired is suffering from health problems & the cold & wet conditions affected her & we came home early. Gibbons from Hartley Nr Dartford (10 June 2017)
A lovely location. Lovely walk along the top of the cliffs. Plenty of walks for the dogs and local people were very friendly. A lovely peaceful cottage just a shame that we could not get a tv signal at all all week. bottom of the garden could do with a tidy up but lots of space for the dogs to run. we had every thing we needed. Customer 4 from Bedford (03 June 2017)
Good basic cottage close to some nice places Colin from Brierley Hill (27 May 2017)
Cottage very comfortable, lovely garden, nice quiet road. Only downside no shop or pub within easy walking distance. Brian from Oxford (20 May 2017)
Not worth the money the place was in need of tlc in the bathroom the tiles were dirty and had mold on them just needs some love. The kitchen also needed tlc it had been badly painted and cups were dirty. It felt like they had given up on the place. Everywhere had been poorly decorated which let it down.the good point was the garden which the dogs loved. I would of been happier if I payed around £230 not over £430. Jenny from Woodbridge (13 May 2017)
Nice cottage, in an quiet friendly village, easy drivable to shops and . lots of local walks but reflective jacket and torch recommended . access to local beach not possible due to coastal erosion, nearest 5mins drive away, . the garden was not as the pictures, not secure for the dogs and quite unkempt piles of garden rubbish around and shrubs overgrown, and no outside lighting. Shame Emily from Barnet (29 April 2017)
Lovely quiet bungalow, fabulous garden for dogs. Nice welcome pack on arrival Catherine (08 April 2017)
We had a lovely relaxing break, so peacefully. Pauline from Northampton (25 March 2017)
We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and will probably book again for 2018 Michael from Hampshire (18 March 2017)
This cottage is very good value for money. as many people have commented, the garden does the property proud, and if you have a dog (or two), they will love it. I found the family room cosy, and the double bed comfortable, and although I struggled a bit with the central heating, the fire soon warmed up the place and the water was always hot. the kitchen is small, really only room for one person to work, which suited me fine. perhaps a little less plates and glasses, and more storage in the cupboards for food, but that was my only issue. the fridge and separate freezer was a joy to have and the cooker was up to date and worked excellently. a nice decking area outside the master bedroom, complete with seating and also a barbecue. having spoken to the owners before leaving for my holidays, I found them to be very helpful and the information they gave was clear and concise. the cliff walks near by are great for visiting and the cottage is central to traveling to wells on the sea or caister as well as some of the broads in the area. the local shops, that I discovered seem to be only accessable by car and are a few miles down the road. I would recommend this cottage. Joyce from Kegworth, Derby (26 November 2016)
Lovely bungalow close to the sea and a good bus rout. However the television reception was very poor went of at various times and mobile signal very bad. Could do with internet. But on the whole a lovely week dogs loved the garden. Jennifer from Huntingdon (24 September 2016)
Cottage was acceptable for it purpose close to cliff walks but beach is inaccessible for 2 miles in either direction no barbecue but one was supplied after a couple of phone calls beds and furniture need updating the main issue was an unpleasant phone call from the owner within an hour of leaving claiming we had left the property in a mess which we had not she claimed she had pictures but none have been sent to his as proof and she has said a £65 charge will be added for cleaning since we did not leave a mess we assume the owner is trying for more money so although the property was acceptable we would not return due to the owners behaviour Sean from Reading (13 August 2016)
This is an excellent bungalow, compact, well decorated in pleasant shades with good furniture and equipment. . the garden is magnificent, a playground paradise for dogs (or children), with lots of trees and bushes, perfect for "hide and seek". John from Loughborough (23 July 2016)
A great cottage for dog owners, as the garden is a good size and secure. Stephanie from Romsey (25 June 2016)
Only down point no wifi Stanley from Kingswinford (11 June 2016)
This is the 3rd visit to this lovely little bungalow and again found it very comfortable. will definitely continue to use this property in the future as it is good location for visiting this part of norfolk. Richard from Suffolk (28 May 2016)
Most enjoyable. John from Malton (23 April 2016)
A small but perfectly formed property with a lovely, long garden. Jo from Ilkeston (02 April 2016)
Very good value for money, nice comfortable cottage,it was very cold and wet for most of the week but a very good heating system kept us nice and warm. Mundsley which not far from the cottage offered very nice walks both on the beach and the park. well kept property considering it is dog friendly Kathy from Gorleston (12 March 2016)
I had to wash the fridge before we could put our food in it there wash no washing up liquid the carpets were very dirty the bedroom carpet had lots of pet hair on it which we picked up on our socks.we could not find any instructions for the heating so we did not know what time is was coming on and off Shirley from Oxford (04 January 2016)
Our first time at trimingham, we found it ideal for seeing norfolk. Had a great time.many thanks. Jct. James from Leicester (17 October 2015)
The cottages enclosed back garden was fantastic for my two dogs. It was ideally situated for the beach and there are lots of places of interest to visit within easy reach. The decor was a little tired looking and could do with a refresh but it was great for the price paid for a week. Unfortunately I could not get a mobile phone signal unless I went to the end of the road!!! which was frustrating when trying to contact family to arrange days out. Belinda from Redditch (03 October 2015)
It is a nice little bungalow, but in need of a little tlc. the carpets were very dirty even for a dog friendly holiday home. . the garden is excellent for dogs and mine loved it, but it was very overgrown and one of my dogs always came in covered in bits of thistle and goose grass burrs and very wet, because of the long grass. . the drain hole in the fridge was blocked and consequently there were puddles of water on the kitchen floor and the cooker hood was faulty. A tumble dryer would be a good addition. There was a funny smell in the bathroom, probably something to do with the drains. . the decking was very slippery when wet. On the whole, it was a good holiday base. Carolyn from Herne Bay (19 September 2015)
No hot water heating system broke, no sign of it being fixed while we were staying there. James from Llangollen (29 August 2015)
Lovely cottage, nice neighbours and a fab holiday. Lisa from London (15 August 2015)
Quiet location. Comfortable lounge and excellent tv. Kitchen v small and also is the access to the bungalow. Equipment fine. Garden good for dogs. Bed not very comfortable which does affect one's enjoyment of the holiday. No facilities in trimingham nor access to the beach. Information folder for guests is poor. We had trouble with the key locker and shower. However they will take 2 dogs which is important for us. Decking dangerous when wet. David from Leicester (27 June 2015)
Great cottage for taking mans best friend , super location ,ideal for all local area's great base to explore Paul from Dudley (30 May 2015)
Excellent cottage . great garden for our dogs . everything you . need. Neighbour very helpful . would have been nice to have wi fi tho Alan from Sheffield (23 May 2015)
It was not expensive and available at the time that we needed. Unfortunately it could do with some tlc and the bed and sofa was not comfortable. As this was a late in the year visit we stayed in for the evenings in and it was not ideal. The garden was great for the dog and the location fantastic. Mary from Milton Keynes (22 November 2014)
We found the cottage warm and cosy but we think the cottage is getting to look tired looking Maurice from Stock Essex (18 October 2014)
Very well organised and comfortable. All necessary facilities and very good for our two small dogs. We will probably rebook next year and would recommend. David from Cornwall (04 October 2014)
Fir tree cottage was lovely and comfortable and the garden is huge, you need a car to get around but there are buses available, lovely position, quiet and nice neighbours, although you rarely see them. Maisie from Luton (27 September 2014)
The property is let down only on 2 counts. The beds need upgrading...double bed felt too hard and single beds were soft but not very good quality. The shower temperature was difficult to control . however the huge rear garden was ideal for people with pets and it was well positioned for visiting places of interest. Colin from Loughborough (20 September 2014)
Lovely bungalow , and garden. Quiet with all the amenities you could ask for . very firm double bed. Was clean and tidy but lived in. But that's fine as it is a pet and child friendly holiday let so didnt expect it to be immaculate. Overal we all had a very pleasant stay with our three boys ages 1, 8 and 11. The boys loved it and were sad to leave. Ruth from Nuneaton (23 August 2014)
Good cottage a few things need repairing Brian from Welton Lincolnshire (10 May 2014)
My dog kyra loved the garden ,and the cottage was nice except that the kitchen was miniscule . the location was pleasant but everything (shop ,pub ,eatery) was a good drive away . Raymond from Newark , Notts (03 May 2014)
Great location, close to cromer on a quiet cul-de-sac, with all the basics required and a great garden for our dog (just be aware that if you have a small dog there are some gaps where it could get through to neighbours). the lounge is nice and bright but the seating wasn't very comfortable. Beds had firm mattresses, which suited us. Mike from Leicester (19 April 2014)
Very comfortable property equipped with everything you could wish for. a beautiful large secure garden great for pet owners. Patricia from Lytham St Annes (28 September 2013)
We enjoyed our stay at the property. Plenty of space for the children and a fabulous garden. the property was well equipped and well located for the beach and days out. unfortunately the double bed was a bit too hard for us and the shower required some repairs. Otherwise everything else was ideal. Kim from South Croydon (31 August 2013)
No wifi!! . without a car it would be difficult to get around. The buses were hourly. Cath from Nottingham (24 August 2013)
The cottage was perfect in size for us and well equipped, there were some maintenance issues ie: sticking patio doors (only my husband could open and close it). the garden was amazing and well kept, our dog loved it, the garden was clean and we followed their lead by cleaning up after our dog. we had hoped for beach access in the village but could find none and maybe some information in the cottage for where to walk the dog would have been helpful, we did however discover for ourselves the best places to go a few miles from the cottage. Ruth from Nottingham (17 August 2013)
Ideal location for visiting coast, norwich wasn't too far away to visit either. cottage was clean & tidy. . these are minor quibbles but it would have been useful if there had been a note to say where the nearest shop was plus something to indicate the nearest gp surgery is plus contact details, especially if an emergency you really wouldn't want to waste valuable time looking through a telephone directory & trying to work out what is the nearest. Maureen from Solihull (20 Jul 2013)
Great huge garden for dogs . close to the beach . anything you need in the kitchen . stylish living room . baby cot provided if you request . Inita from Surrey (29 December 2012)
3 of stayed. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the provision of milk, biscuits etc on arrival. The cottage was welcoming and comfortable; loved the french doors opening onto the decking, and the garden was super (and private). Andrew (04 August 2012)
Lovely garden for dogs.main bedroom nicely done .bed comfortable. Joan from Corby (26 May 2012)
My wife has a guide dog and the garden was ideal for her.The bungalow being in a quiet cul-de-sac, was quiet. Customer 48 (September 2011)
Really enjoyed our stay and was perfect for our 2 dogs, liked it so much have booked again for next year! Customer 49 (August 2011)
Well equipped and comfortable, in a good location for North Norfolk beaches and the Broads. Customer 50 (August 2010)
The bungalow was modern, clean and roomy. The garden was a very good size. Well satisfied with the accommodation. Customer 51 (August 2010)
Nice touch was a welcome tray and flowers. Customer 52 (October 2009)
The garden was excellent. The beds and bedrooms were fine and comfortable. The lounge was comfortable but the television only had some channels which worked as the aerial was indoors and incapable of good reception. The garden furniture was basic but good. Customer 53 (August 2009)
Ideal location, nice quiet cul de sac,all people we met were very friendly, nice large garden if you take a dog, very steep path down to beach, and not to be used if it has rained. This is across a field near a layby entering Trimmingham from Cromer end, other access to a beach is at Mundesley. Customer 54 (August 2009)
Lovely massive garden, great for small dogs. Customer 55 (July 2009)
The cottage was in an excellent area. It met with all our needs for walking and catching up with old Norfolk friends. Customer 56 (March 2009)
Lovely property, very clean and tidy. Garden large and welcoming. Greeting tray, milk and biscuits very much appreciated after a long hot car journey. The weather helped make our week a relaxing and enjoyable time. Thank you. Customer 57 (August 2008)
We found the hospitality tray of coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and sugar a wonderful suprise and an excellent start to our shortbreak. It made the property seem very personalised. The garden was excellent for our dogs and I should imagine it would be loveley to sit in, in the summer. Customer 58 (March 2007)
