We had a lovely holiday. The house was beautifully clean, spacious and well equipped. It was great being so close to all amenities with the beach and town just down the road. Sheringham is dog friendly with water left out around the town. Would recommend the house wholeheartedly, we will definitely go back Confirmed Guest from Leicester (04 August 2017)
A very clean well located house with 4 good sized bedrooms . the lounge is very well appointed with large tv. In fact there is a tv in all bedrooms and kitchen as well. Parking on the front for 2 average size cars. The back garden is a touch small. But if you have a dog there is loads of places to walk direct from the property, with plenty of bins. Around. Very well located for within walking distance to shops, pubs, local amenities and the very sandy beach. Raymond from Romford (23 June 2017)
Such a lovely and spacious house. Plenty of space for 6 adults and a child. The house was well equipped for self catering, the tea, coffee and milk were very welcome upon arrival. . location is great too, so close to high street and sea front. . we would happily stay here again. Claire from Suffolk (12 May 2017)
Great location near both coastal walks and the pretty town of sheringham. lots to do in the area. . filey house is well laid out and equipped, comfortable and unfussy. good kitchen and bathrooms facilities, tvs and good wifi. . . if you are tall, watch your head! parking may be a problem if you have more than 2 cars. Richard from Wiltshire (21 April 2017)
A lovely house in a great location. Very close to the beach and wonderful coastal walks. Filey house is a great venue for large family groups/parties. Helen from Leicestershire (24 March 2017)
We had a great stay at filey house. It was big enough for our group with kids and very comfortable. Fab location for the town and a lovely walk along the north norfolk coast path. The owners could really do with buying a new tin opener and some sharper knives (it made cooking really tricky!) but apart from that we were very happy customers! Lizzie from Harrogate (28 October 2016)
Nice comfortable large house well furnished and equipped. Good location close to the town and the beach. Dog friendly, with small yet adequate enclosed garden. To make overall pricing clearer would have been better to include the cost of dogs in booking price rather than paid locally under an honesty arrangement. A better quality vacuum cleaner would be beneficial, one that is particularly effective on collecting dog hairs. Colin from Stowmarket (07 October 2016)
We loved the house!. . ideal location for the steam railway, train to cromer, and walks on the beach. Ltj from Essex (23 September 2016)
A lovely house in an excellent location for shops restaurants and beach. Spacious and comfortable Sylvia from Dereham (19 September 2016)
The house would benefit from some bathroom shelves and hooks for towels and dressing gowns etc. Only 1 tea towel was supplied for a 3 day stay in a house accommodating up to 9 people. The kitchen and hall floor weren't very clean, we evidenced this from the colour of the trousers of my baby grandson who is crawling. But the main problem was the bannister rails on the landing which were so spaced apart to allow a crawling baby to almost climb through, we tested this. My husband is a builder and said this would not pass building regulations Alison from Peterborough (05 September 2016)
Very nice place to stay. too few cups provided - we had to go out and buy another 16! not enough cooking equipment - large serving dishes and no serving spoons Jackie from Lichfield (02 September 2016)
Lovely house lovely place good weather smashing holiday, only concern was parking people were good but had to keep moving their cars for us. The kerb needs to be dropped. Gwen from Staffordshire (26 August 2016)
Beautiful big house right by the seafront, in the lovely village of sheringham. The rooms are large and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. The owners had thought of everything. It is very nicely decorated and very clean. Dog friendly too. We would love to stay again. Lisa from Wigan (19 August 2016)
Amazing place and great location Stephen from Bedford (22 July 2016)
Nice property close to all facilities. Colin from Stowmarket (10 June 2016)
Fantastic house and location couldn't fault anything other than the weather. Will return next summer for definite highly recommend for a truly amazing holiday for adults kids and dogs. I Shelley from Stoke On Trent (03 June 2016)
We stayed at filey house for 3 nights to celebrate a 60th and 65th birthday and also a 40th wedding anniversary. The house is beautiful with lots of space. The welcome pack was handy and full of information. When we arrived, there was a problem with a tv, but the owner was there within 10 minutes and replaced it. It was lovely to meet him and he was very friendly. We loved the extras left for us too- the chocolate fingers went down a treat. The house's location is perfect with the sea just round the corner, but just far enough away to be quiet. We had a great short break, with other sea sides nearby. Would recommend the marmalade restaurant in sherringham - the meal and owners were lovely. Sarah from Ware, Hertfordshire (02 May 2016)
Lovely position, lovely property will use again when coming to the area Confirmed Guest (18 April 2016)
A fabulous house in a great location. Perfect for a family. Would highly recommend. Caroline from Buckinghamshire (01 April 2016)
Loved it. Great location. easy access to beach and into town, restaurants and takeaways. Loved the walks from the front door. Everything we needed. Ground floor shower room was very compact. Third floor bedroom or loft conversion, good but the lack of door ment you could hear everything going on, even in kitchen on ground floor. Garden disappointing, had to walk dog up the road late at night. Customer 20 from Newark On Trent (28 March 2016)
We had an absolutely brilliant time at filey house and we would definitely come back! the only comment we have is that the 4pm arrival time seemed a bit late and 10am departure a bit early! Claire from Basildon (25 March 2016)
Lovely home in excellent location. very spacious, warm and comfortable. Ann from Northamptonshire (18 March 2016)
Three generations of our family and 2 small dogs enjoyed our weekend stay at filey house. Kay from Norfolk (07 March 2016)
Excellent property in good location - pictures don't do it justice - plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 children (plus a dog). Ian from Lowestoft (19 February 2016)
We had an amazing christmas at filey house. 6 adults , 2 children and 2 dogs. There is so much room for everyone and cooking a full christmas dinner in the well equipt kitchen was a pleasure. We took our own decorations but the house felt homely and comfortable for all. The 3 double bedrooms are big and the room with the bunk beds was plenty big enough for 2 children. Lots of little touches made it great for so many people - the large hall meant lots of space for wellies and shoes and there was plenty of space to hang lots of coats. Would highly recommend it. The owner was even quick to come out to us on xmas eve when we had a little problem with a key. Sherringham is a great place to stay with lots to do and plenty of places to eat, shop and walk a dog. The only small thing is that with no door on the 2nd floor bedroom it does mean you can easily be disturbed when there are lots of people in the house - but only a minor thing. Would go back and recommend to friends. Claire from Cambrigeshire (28 December 2015)
Everything we wanted for a base for a family holiday. . y Carol from Mansfield Woodhouse (30 October 2015)
We had a great time and would definitely visit again Andrea from Stoke Hammond Milton Keynes (16 October 2015)
Very steep stairs to second floor bedroom. not mentioned in overview. also the ground floor shower room was very small. we were not well pleased when the cleaners arrived at 10am on the friday morning when the check out time was 11am. . next question about safety: stairs to second floor very steep not suitable for aged persons. should be mentioned in the details. Alan from Mkt Harboro (11 September 2015)
A lovely comfortable house in an excellent location. We'd be very pleased to return. David from Derby (04 September 2015)
We had a great time house was great décor and cleanliness first class and ideal for all amenities Colin from Northampton (31 August 2015)
Overall an excellent holiday let. Would certainly use again. Very close to beach on quiet residential road, yet also virtually in the centre of town. Large, clean, light, spacious rooms (better than the pictures suggest). well-equipped kitchen and utility room. Good showers. Beds comfy. (good iron & ironing board, but that's just my thing!). downsides; fridge too small; off-road parking not accompanied by kerb lowering, meaning other road users would be in their right to block you in. Richard from Sheffield (28 August 2015)
We were very pleased with the standard of accommodation and sherringham is very nice, we had a wonderful time. Paul from Sutton-In-Ashfield (21 August 2015)
This is a lovely house and ideal for families with small children. the garden is very safe but a nice area for small children to run around in. it is well equipped and tastefully decorated. nice pictures! it is very near the sea/beach and the town and walks across the cliffs. we loved the top floor room but would have preferred it to have a wall and door rather than be open to the stairs. Penny from Diss (24 July 2015)
Lovely house, brilliant for a family break! Katrina from Mansfield (06 July 2015)
Great place to stay would recommend Portia from Leicester (14 June 2015)
Ideally placed for the beach and the centre. great property for children and a small pet. house is modern and well cared for. we had all the equipment we needed although we would have welcomed access to a bbq as the weather for early june was brilliant. . the property was exactly as advertised. Jane from Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire (08 June 2015)
Beautiful house in excellent location Claire from Horncastle (08 May 2015)
Filey house is spacious, comfortable and clean. It's in a brilliant location. The off street parking was a bonus. . it just needs a few more personal "lived in" touches as it's all very new at the moment. Liz from Newark (10 April 2015)
The cottage was better than we had hoped for. Only a two minute walk from town , beach or to the cliff tops what a wonderful place for a break. Jackie from Litcham,Kings Lynn (17 March 2015)
