Great location - good beach, nice property, but garden is not dog secure. no pub within walking distance. No local amenities, (you can plan for that). Jonathan (04 August 2017)
Wonderful clean accommodation. The nearby beach was a terrific bonus for our young grandchildren and dog. The perfect situation for a relaxing holiday. . the only issue we had was that we had to clear 4 full bags of dog pooh from the garden before we could enjoy the outdoor facilities. not the fault of the owner but the previous tenants (any number) who didn't clear up properly. Kenneth from Colne (28 July 2017)
We had an amazing time at this beautiful cottage. The pebbled beach is a 2 min walk and is dog friendly. the garden is a good size and there are no attached neighbours. there is everything you need in the cottage for a relax stay. lots to do in this part of wales . Vincent from Swindon (21 July 2017)
A perfect cottage in a fabulous location. 30 seconds from the beach. Perfect for opening the gate & letting the 3 dogs go. Beautifully maintained and all the equipment you could need. Will definitely be booking again. Eileen from Preston (26 May 2017)
Beautiful cottage, very close to the pebble beach. Wine and chocolates on arrival. Very low beams inparts so you need to be careful. The log burner made the cottage very cosy. Very well equipped. Would visit again. Valerie from Cheshire (01 May 2017)
Really loved staying at dyserth and would stay again. Pet friendly and fully equipped with everything you need inc washing machine and dishwasher. The location topped everything for us tho - right next to the beach. It's a charming cottage, beautifully updated and looked after. Will stay again and again hopefully in this gem of a place. Jane from Cardiff (21 April 2017)
A good holiday experience overall. On a scale of 1 to 10 we would score it 8 overall. Stephen from Tullylease, Charleville. (14 April 2017)
Great cottage, with a little attention to the garden it would be perfect. The friendly poltergeist is an added interest. Darren from Staffordshire (24 March 2017)
Was a fantastic cottage great location everything you need will be back our dog's we're happy to Karen from Altrincham (01 March 2017)
I wanted a quiet holiday in the coast to getaway: it the ideal spot. The cottage is quaint and built with stone. The wifi, dish washer, washing machine, bathroom, kitchen, cooker, utensils: everything is there, very clean and works. The central heating is good, it took me while to get the log fire going, the wood I bought looked wet. The coast was quiet, had to be careful about tide times and to avoid hurting your feet walking on the beach. I enjoyed my walks. Most of the beach is round stones sandy area narrow. If your mobile is on 3 the reception is poor inside the house. Stairs are narrow if going up and have to watch out not to bang your head on the doorways. Can see the sea from the roof window of one bedroom. Karu Weeraman from Doncaster (24 February 2017)
We had a perfect week away at this lovely cottage ,its quirky cosy a beautiful place ,the woodburning stove is lovely .the cottage has everything the beach is less than a min away ,defo stay again . Michelle from Chorley/Manchester (17 February 2017)
Beautiful cottage 30seconds from the beach it was a cosy typical welsh cottage the open log fire was amazing really added to the occasion the wine and chocolates were a nice touch thanks again Darren from Manchester (13 February 2017)
Charming holiday cottage close to the beach for walking and local supermarkets not too far away. Lots of places around to explore. Very homely but quirky too. Enjoyed our stay. Jenni from Warrington (03 February 2017)
Cottage ok but was disapointed with location beach very pebbly unable to walk on Sue from Hull (20 January 2017)
We stayed in this lovely quirky little cottage for a midweek break in november and loved it. Really close to beach and we took our little dog and so did our friends they have 2 little dogs. cosy and welcoming especially with log burner. Full of character and loads of lovely walks. felt like a real escape from reality didn't want to go home! well worth the money and highly recommended. Also beds really comfy. Barbara from Runcorn (02 December 2016)
Excellent cottage for touring snowdonia and angelse will definitely book again Confirmed Guest (21 November 2016)

We have re booked for april Amanda from Chester (14 October 2016)
Completely lived up to our expectation for both my wife and I and two large dogs. We soon got used to the low doors. Cyril from Garstang (Preston) (10 October 2016)
Excellent location and very nice cottage, kept clean and comfortable. As usual with this type of property there is restricted stairway space and low beams and on this cottage very very low doorways. Terry from Bucknell, Shropshire (23 September 2016)
Great location comfortable accommodation, would be happy to go back again. Welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Iain from Livingston (16 September 2016)
We took the cottage for 4 days midweek with our two spaniels. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped, the cottage with all it's little features was warm and comfortable, the beach was a minute away and dog friendly. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and appreciated. As it could technically sleep 5 it is very good value for money and would make a lovely home from home. On the downside the shower was not really powerful enough on the eco setting and on full power the temperature was not constant, the outside light needed a new bulb fitting but without a screwdriver we were unable to do this. The local shop didn't have any cooking oil and we had not brought any with us and while caernarfon is not far it seemed a bit of trek for one item when we would have to take the dogs with us. The local pub in llandwrog served good food with a varied menu so we were fine. The yellow pub the other way only does food fri/sat/sun so we did not try it. We went to trefor and found the place there, but did not stay to eat. Overall everyone we met was friendly and helpful, we had a really lovely break and would definitely go back with r without dogs to explore more of the area. Joanna from Presteigne (09 September 2016)
Cottage was really quaint and historic, right near the beach in a quiet hamlet and with a really nice garden too. It was quite small but well laid out and we all (2 adults, 2 children ) had a great time there. Taller people may need to mind their heads though as some doors and headroom in areas is low, particularly upstairs. Mark from London (15 August 2016)
Great location, garden and shower need attention. Good for dogs and overall a very nice place to stay Paul from Northampton (12 August 2016)
Location to beach was great , cottage was cosy and quaint , great location to mountains and beach's for hiking . great for taking your dogs . locals very friendly , would definitely go back . Lee from Malvern (20 May 2016)
Place needs new bed and update of water supply Confirmed Guest (22 April 2016)
Quaint and quirky.made me smile all week. Lovely quiet location. Cosy and lovely atmosphere. Pamela from Holywell (25 March 2016)
Lovely stay at this quirky cottage! great location - near the beach. Rooms a good size and log fire was great! double bed a little uncomfortable. Needed a little clean - few cobwebs! would definitely stay again! xx Becca from Bolton (22 February 2016)
Lovely cosy cottage.. went in winter, blowing a gale outside but cosy, warm and quiet inside. Massive log burner, very thick walls!! beach a stones throw away. Pretty area, nice towns nearby. Adam from West Sussex (28 December 2015)
Charming cottage very quirky but ideal for myself and my daughter. The only problem we had was with the woodburner - I have one in my own home and one of the reason I chose the cottage was because we planned chatting around the fire. It looked good and we got it alight but it was not easily controlled and kept going out. However the cottage was lovely and warm so no worries really. Sue from Ysbyty Ifan (07 December 2015)
We loved the location of dyserth right on the beach. It was perfect for our 3 dogs. However we did have difficulties with the stairs and height of the door to the master bedroom as we are both over 6ft tall. I feel that this along with narrow staircase and low ceilings could cause difficulties for someone less mobile. My partner could not use the shower as his head touched the ceiling in the bathroom without standing in the bath.. overall a lovely place and the lounge area was excellent. The double bed was uncomfortable and does need the slats fixing down as they move and cause the mattress to drop through the frame in the night. we would not stay here again not because of anything that could be changed as this is part of the charm of the cottage. it just was awkward for us. also the low wall and garden is not secure for pets due to wide barred gate and very low walls. Ann from Stoke On Trent (06 November 2015)
I loved are few days away great place and very clean and well equipped . would love to stay there again if it's dosent get sold .. Karen from Romiley Stockport (30 October 2015)
Lovely cottage, great location. Just needs garden securing for the dogs. Liz from York (26 October 2015)
A great location for our dog walking holiday, plus a warm and welcoming cottage. John from Cheltenham (19 October 2015)
Fabulous cottage in a great location by the sea and central to exploring the surrounding area Helen from Hope Flintshire (16 October 2015)
Lovely property but double bed uncomfortable Ian from Roydon (05 October 2015)
Lovely character cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. the cottage was very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. beach really close and dog friendly. local people very friendly and helpful. the welcome pack was much appreciated too! we noted previous comments about the garden not being completely enclosed for dogs, but I have to say we found it totally safe for our three (two collies and a bichon cross). I would definitely recommend dyserth as a great place to stay! Sue from Manningtree (21 September 2015)
Cottage small, difficulty with stairs & a strange smell in the dining room which we couldn't locate or clear. Living area was lovely but the kitchen was too small but everything was very clean Confirmed Guest (11 September 2015)
The area was beautiful and most people very friendly . the garden however is not secure for dogs which did pose a problem as we took two dogs and there is a used road next to the cottage to the sea . the bedding was spotless and the owner very helpful although I would not recommend this cottage for anyone with a disability as steep and narrow stairs . Roy from Staffordshire (04 September 2015)
A great time in a wonderful, quiet seaside location! amazing to stay in such an old and atmospheric cottage, and would go back in the future. Paul from Rainhill (14 August 2015)
Dyserth was fabulous - very cosy with clean fresh linen and extremely comfortable beds. it was very well equipped and in a superb location. . the only disappointment was that the garden was not secure for my 2 dogs which meant we were unable to leave the door open for them to lay out in the garden. their were lambs in an adjoining paddock and once they knew their way to the beach, I could not leave the door open so it wasn't quite as relaxed as I had hoped. other than than, it was faultless. Gennie from Cowden (10 July 2015)
Lovely quaint cottage in a great location. Well equipped and very clean. internet connection is good. Very close to dog friendly beach (one minute walk). enclosed garden is great, but back wall is a little low for dogs to escape over. downside is no upstairs toilet and no pub or shop to walk to. June from Oakhanger (19 June 2015)
