This was a lovely little cottage that was close to all local tourist spots. It is situated next to a very busy road which wasn't clear on booking as we had two young children with us however, this did not impact on our stay. The local inn was well within walking distance and the food was delicious and not too expensive. I would recommend this cottage for its comfort and value. Would use it again. Customer 1 from Glenrothes (10 August 2017)
We had a great time, almost everything we needed was in the cottage. Just the beds an specially the double bed was backbreaking and has a bad matras. The couches we had to sit on were very weak and soft, and also backbreaking Marc from Beneden Leeuwen (07 August 2017)
First problem was that the oven did not work correctly as only the grill section got hot. Reported on monday did not see anybody until friday which meant that a lot of the food which we had brought on monday we had to throw away as we were unable to cook it. Various light bulbs did not work, the flow rate knob on the shower kept falling off, otherwise things worked well. Wells (09 April 2017)
Everything about the cottages suited our needs, very handy for going to the inn on the tay hotel in the evening for a meal and a relaxing drink.the cottage had everything in it so we only needed to supply food.the location by the roadside meant that there was some traffic noise but that didn't detract from a great break.being situated where it is means easy access to aberfeldy and pitlochry which are both lovely little towns. Across the road is a lovely riverside walk and our dog charlie loved it. Alan from Slaithwaite (07 October 2016)
Everything was fine apart from the lack of wifi or phone signal. Julie from Witney (23 May 2016)
Excellent property but no phone signal and no wifi makes you feel isolated not being able to contact home and other members of the party. Gill from Lancs (14 September 2015)
Cottage was clean & well equipped and the location was exactly where we wanted to be. It's only shortcomings, in our opinion, was there was only one combined bathroom and toilet which could be a problem when the cottage is full Bryan from Bishop Auckland (31 August 2015)
Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of walks just outside the front door. House was clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Ideally situated for access to nearby towns and places of interest. lots of wild life. Saw deer, woodpeckers and squirrels in nearby woods. The river was in flood and was an awesome site. David from Tain, Ross Shire (24 July 2015)
Owner was very friendly and helpful when ringing to arrange key collection. Everything met my expectations as to cleanliness and comfort. I had no problems with the road as I knew exactly where the property was. The 10minute walk to the grandtully slalom site meant I did not need to use the car during the week for the girls to be able to train for the weekends competition. The area has loads to offer from walks to rafting to visiting the crannog at kenmore, the birks of aberfeldy or the falls of dochart at killin. Weather was fantastic for april and will hopefully be using this cottage again next year. Anne from Skipton (12 April 2015)
We had a great time. Very handy location. Warm and comfortable. Rob from Nottingham (22 March 2015)
We had a lovely stay. Confirmed Guest (20 February 2015)
A excellent place, clean and comfy Alex from Kelbrook (18 December 2014)
Very nicely furnished bungalow. Light and airy. This area of pertshire is beautiful with varied scenery. Sadly, right at the back of the property's small garden when we stayed, they were preparing the ground for a housing estate. This was an ugly sight and noisy with huge diggers etc. Working into the evenings and weekends. I was not informed of this prior to my visit although the owner of the property subsequently . informed me that they were not supposed to start the work untiloctober and it should be finished by next spring. I would not visit this property again whilst the building work is going on and also because . there is no mobile phone reception there or wifi - both of which I require. Having said all this the owner is a very nice person and very . helpful. One more thing, I was unhappy that the bungalow had the b road at the side of it, so road noise was an issue. Eunice from Bradford On Avon (19 September 2014)
Good location let down by a few problems with cleanliness and lack of basic supplies such a washing up liquid and at least one washing powder tablet. Nice welcoming flowers and a couple of sweet treats. Overall okay Jo from Houston (08 September 2014)
The cottage was well equipped, immaculate and like a home from home.the location was very good, the village being only a few mins walk. The welcome pack and treats for our little dog was a lovely thought from jean, the owner. The only thing that we found detrimental to our stay was that the road ran along the side of the cottage, and the traffic was very noisy. Deborah from Southport (27 June 2014)
The cottage was very good, clean and well situated. We only had two issues with the house! trying to get hot water every time was not always easy as the system didn't seem to have rhyme or reason to it. when we could get the hot water running continuously we all got showers quick! the double bed desperately needs a new mattress, but the single beds were all fine and comfortable. Apart from these we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to go again. Deborah from Isle Of Harris (11 April 2014)
Lovely cottage and great location. only downside was no wifi. Nicola from High Wycombe (04 April 2014)
Beautiful cottage photos dont do it justice, great for walks fishing cycling beautiful countryside, negatives missed wi fi, probably could with a freezer as nearest big supermarket 20 miles away in perth, pub 500 yards away, excellent resturant inn on the tay 500 yards away, both have wi fi, would highly recommend, owner jean excellent to deal with couldnt do enough for you Paul from Motherwell (21 March 2014)
The cottage was very clean, cleaner than any I have stayed in before. the flowers and cookies were a nice touch!! thanks for a great couple of days. Jane from Aberdeen (11 November 2013)
Had a lovely week. Here. Only real problem we had was with the heating - instructions for this would be good Mgt from Falkirk (23 October 2013)
Cracking wee cottage had everything we needed and pub down the road was good, was good to have enclosed garden but our wee jack russell could still fit through gaps in fence gates but covered them with the wheelie bins which was fine. Would happily stay here again and our friends that visited agreed. Ross from Dundee (23 August 2013)
Overall the cottage was lovely. The only down point, and it is a minor one, was that being elderly we spent quite a bit of time in the lounge and found the seating to be uncomfortable. Our daughter, however, loved the cottage. Also a washing line would have been helpful. David from Hilton, Tain (16 August 2013)
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . the location of the cottage was next to a main road so it was too noisy to enjoy the garden . . . . t Bill from Billingham (19 Jul 2013)
Spacious, very well equiped & comfortable. Big enclosed garden Julie from Barnoldswick (28 Jun 2013)
Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable, well maintained, excellent location. Well equipped. Would stay there again Elaine from Ayrshire (12 April 2013)
Lovely cottage, excellent location and the owner has thought of everything. Paula from Falkirk (18 February 2013)
Lovely welcome pack on arrival, decor throughout was tasteful and relaxing, beds very comfortable. Angela (26 October 2012)
Great location for walks close to pitlochry and aberfeldy for shops, my daughter thought she heaven with the chocolate factory in grandtully, central heating Thomas from Rosyth (15 October 2012)
The house was really lovely - so clean, and everything we needed (apart from an ice box in the fridge, perhaps, but that was a minor issue). . and the owner had gone to trouble to make it welcoming Karen from London (28 September 2012)
