Good things:. location, lots of amenities and attractions near, within half an hour drive of several beaches. . size of property. Private and rural but not isolated. Wifi. . would be better if:. had central heating as standard ( we were not aware it had to be pre arranged so spent the week without). the grounds had a little more tlc. This house is stuck in the 1970"s dirty and mouldy Roger from Trlford (01 October 2016)
Very nice well equiped cottage.only fault is the shower, there is more water coming out of tap on sink than out of shower, and hand held shower over bath connot be used as there is no shower curtain Jack from North Anston (24 September 2016)
Needs updating. Stephen from New Haw, Surrey (20 August 2016)
Very nice cottage, clean, spacious bedrooms, etc. We were there as walkers and there were great walks both directly from the cottage and further afield. Stuart from Kent (03 October 2015)
Grass and hedges needed cutting. Toilet rolls could have been supplied. Few cobwebs about Brian from Halifax (29 August 2015)
Lovely quiet location and ideal for dog owners as a walk just outside the garden. Gill from Cumbria (01 August 2015)
Had a lovely two weeks here, weather really made it. Comfortable and easy with the two dogs,. would definitely stay here again . Veronica from Staffordshire (11 October 2014)
Nice and clean and comfortable cottage. Great that we could just go outside the gate and walk the dogs without having to go on the main road. We would certainly consider going back here. Just a couple of negatives, the water pipes made a funny noise when flushing the loos and downstairs loo needed more power to flush. Bathroom and shower could benefit from a heated towel rail. There was a broken tile in the passageway from shower room and utility room. Linda from Dorking (27 September 2014)
An absolutely fantastic place, great location for every place to visit. Loads of local walks for the dog, only a mile from town. Just 20 or 30 miles from lands end, lizard point, st ives, newquay and the hundreds of coves, beaches and beautiful villages. Lovely cottage, a real home from home (particularly loved the reclining sofas) the only reason I marked it down on value for money is because there are no towels/ tea towels supplied and no access to the central heating. There is an electric fire but this burns up the pound coins. Had such a nice time down there though that these were small issues. A really lovely place. Glenn from Peterborough (23 August 2014)
Decor rather old-fashioned. And cottage a bit musty. Confirmed Purchaser (19 July 2014)
Very spacious homely cottage with conservatory and very comfortable. Lack of any dish cloths or scouring pads etc and condiments, wine glasses etc so bring your own. If going when weather not so predictable then recommend purchasing for £25 extra the heating surcharge it was worth every penny. Overall a very well located property for visiting the fabulous beaches of north cornwall. Chris from Colchester (05 April 2014)
A truly lovely quiet spot to stay and well secure for dogs. Had a great stay there. Shaun from Gillingham (12 October 2013)
It's situated off the beaten track, so it's very quiet, but close enough to the a30 to visit many places. it has a very good beach about 4 miles away. the house itself was disappointingly dark as it's nestled in the hillside but does have some good views from the upstairs windows. apart from the fact that there was no welcoming pack/information letter and not enough bowls for breakfast it was clean and spacious. Janet from Aylesbury (17 August 2013)
Lovely property, well appointed Confirmed Purchaser from Tonbridge (20 Jul 2013)
Set in a quiet location in a convenient position to all major tourist spots. Good walks from the house Paddy from Newbury (22 Jun 2013)

Very clean and overall comfortable, quiet location. attractive looking property. Anne from Sidmouth (06 October 2012)
Comfortable sofas in living room and conservatory and nice to have table and chairs in conservatory.plenty of parking space. Judith from Crewkerne (08 September 2012)
There were four adults in our party, two had never been to Cornwall. The property was chosen for a touring type holiday. It was excellent, clean, spacious, a comfortable home from home. Being just off the A30 it was ideal for touring. The kitchen was well equipped, we ate in most evenings. Although we did eat at The Countryman Inn, about 5 minutes drive away, the food was exceptional, very reasonably priced, well worth a visit. All in all we had a great holiday and could thoroughly recommend Coombe End Cottage. Customer 20 (April 2012)
Property exceeded expectations and was perfect base for area. Customer 21 (March 2012)
It was tucked away but yet closed to most things, Quiet and hidden. Dogs friendly place...We are looking forward to go back... Customer 22 (August 2011)
Our dogs enjoyed the cottage and beaches (PERRANPORTH). Customer 23 (May 2011)
The detached house is situated in a secluded position, with no one overlooking, giving good privacy. Redruth makes a very good base for exploring the western part of Cornwall. Customer 24 (July 2010)
Quiet location, very clean. Customer 25 (May 2010)
It was secluded as said, it was totally enclosed for the safety of our dog. The property was a good size and in a good state of repair. Customer 26 (September 2009)
The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of nearby St Ives and the like. But with easy access to everywhere from Padstow to Lands End. Customer 27 (July 2008)
