Good place and parking. Needs wifi and washing machine. Jason from Yorkshire (04 August 2017)
Lovely comfortable house in a great location. Only marked down slightly because, although there was sleeping accommodation for six it only really suitable for up to four people in terms of things like kitchen equipment (small fridge), only one bathroom, outside seating area only for four people and only one car parking space. Wouldn't put us off coming again, though! Ann from Cottingham (14 July 2017)
We would stay at this property again, though with two under 5's the outdoor space is very limited. the good news is that on fine weather days the beach is so close that you can go there to play outside. the property is a bit claustrophobic on wet days. we didn't use the dishwasher and felt that a washing machine would have been more beneficial. the fridge is on the small side for 6 people as is the equipment available. feels setup for 6 adults who would be having takeaways and drinks rather than a family who would be cooking for themselves. Catherine from Sheffield (09 June 2017)
The location of this cottage is excellent as you can easily walk to everything! the cottage was clean and well kept but could easily be updated to make it feel more special. We used the tiny garden hugely as a fantastic warm sun trap to sit out and read in. The house is sold as suitable for six but more realistic for four, as only four outside chairs and then same a the dining table inside! the fridge struggled to contain food that we brought for six..as tiny! we all enjoyed our time at the cottage thoroughly despite the points mentioned. Helen from Honington (21 April 2017)
We had a fabulous short break at the commodore cottage, it was so cosy and comfortable and in the perfect location. We will definitely stay there again and are recommending it to all our friends and family too! Alison from Bedfordshire (13 April 2017)
Lovely location. Nice cottage.would stay again. John from Verwood (24 February 2017)
Excellent place. The owners thought about everything and prepared it perfectly for their guests' arrival. Thank you we really enjoyed our stay. Mourad from Cromer (13 February 2017)
Good size cottage in very central location for sea and town. We were surprised by the lack of daily essentials, like washing up liquid or bin bags. The furnishings were adequate if somewhat tired. Dorothy from Warlingham, Surrey (21 October 2016)
Enjoyed a second holiday in cromer. Our grandson enjoyed his first visit to the sea. The carpet was dirty in places but do not recall it was like that last year!. would visit again. Mary from Cambridge (30 September 2016)
We have now stayed at commodore cottage 2 years running, however we feel that we wouldn't return for a third visit due to the following issues: the carpet is even more dirty than last year and desperately needs replacing for a more practical floor. On arrival clearly no attempt had been made to clean the outside table & chairs which were covered in seagull poo & the garden has been neglected. The kitchen fridge is now even smaller than before. Only 2 shelves for a cottage sleeping 6 people is insufficient. How can a fridge this size possibly support a 3 bedroom cottage ? we would definitely prefer a washing machine to a dishwasher.. or even better plumb a washing machine in to the bathroom/airing cupboard? with poor mobile phone reception in the area the absence of wifi is a problem. We love the location so next summer we will book the cottage next door as it has been recently updated, has a washing machine, standard size fridge, neat & tidy garden, nicer lounge and it's cheaper! Daisy from Bury (19 August 2016)
Accomodation was in a very good position for the beach and town centre, we had an issue with ants on arrival but this was soon sorted with powder in the patio area and traps in the kitchen. We would stay there again. Grant from Selby (22 July 2016)
Property was nicely presented and we layed out with more than enough equipment. We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and the two single beds in one room was frustrating but I understand this would suit most visitors needs. We did find some ants in the kitchen and all the crockery needed a wash. Also the lack of wifi was frustrating as the phone signal around cromer isn't amazing! ultimately however we were pleased with the house and the location was brilliant! would stay here again. Jack from Cambridge (11 July 2016)
Shortage of toilet roll, had to buy some. Door to freezer compartment in fridge fell off as I opened fridge door, some quite bad stains on lounge carpet also but overall we enjoyed our week in cromer. one other point , we had problems with the car park barrier and we wondered if the battery in the remote was low but later in the week the barrier was locked open so I assume that the problem was with the barrier. Sheila from Castle Douglas (27 May 2016)
Ideally suited for the beach, pier and town. Bedrooms and bathroom fine. Downstairs accommodation a little snug for 6. Otherwise we had a lovely week. Thanks. Confirmed Guest (01 April 2016)
As expected having visited cromer many times. Slight problem with sat. Eventually resolved. Stephen from Cleckheaton (28 December 2015)
Lovely cottage close to the sea and shops. Bonus of an off street parking bay. Would certainly like to return oneday. Mary from Cambridge (02 October 2015)
Excellent accommodation. Well equipped, very clean and comfortable in perfect location. Would definitely stay again Sue from Letchworth (21 September 2015)
Property great only setback slugs are getting in back door at night and shower difficult to regulate. David from Bath (18 September 2015)
Lovely cottage, brilliant location. Would of preferred a washing machine instead of a dishwasher though. Samantha from West Midlands (11 September 2015)
Excellent location and nice house - cromer was lovely. Shame that the house was not very clean particularly the kitchen - I had to clean out the fridge which was full of crumbs. Carpet in the lounge was also very stained. I had concerns that the back french door key had been lost and was therefore only locked by a top and bottom small bolt which I did not consider to be very secure. However we had a great holiday and would return. Suzie from Nottingham (28 August 2015)
We had a fantastic holiday. the weather was not brilliant but the cottage was so close to the beach, we were able to run home and warm up after swimming. the rooms were bright and airy with a good amount of space. the kitchen is well equipped and although there is not a washing machine, the "swiss launderette" was literally over the road. the lounge was comfy and relaxing after our busy and not so busy days! Rebecca from London (21 August 2015)
Wonderful family holiday! perfect location, well equipped, clean and comfortable! . wifi would have been good and a washing machine as we have young messy children! a dishwasher was a luxury for us! we look forward to returning to commodore cottage in the future. Lucy from Sudbury (14 August 2015)
Great location, central for everything! Confirmed Guest (19 June 2015)
An ideal location not far from the beach ,good parking cottage very nice will definetely go again and would like to take the grand children to go crabbing. Chris from Northampton (29 May 2015)
Excellent stay..great location, beautiful cottage with all the essentials.. washing machine would have been a bonus but overall a great place to stay. Hayley from Cambridgeshire (25 May 2015)
Commodore cottage was unprepared for holiday lettings. This cottage had not been cleaned properly for a long time. The kitchen was dirty, the inside of the fridge was black with mould and the carpet in the living room was badly stained, the windows were dirty and the bathroom was generally dusty and dirty. Two of the smoke alarms did not work. Christine from Suffolk (08 May 2015)
