Lovely cottage in good location
Mark from Maldon (26 May 2017)

We have been to cobblestones several times before. It is convenient for the kind of holiday we enjoy, walking in local seaside places. We also are fond of the lovely town (holt). . we had trouble with the new shower. The water wouldn't run off - I had to remove part of the filter to make it work.
Anthony (20 May 2017)

Would come again but only if wi-fi was at the cottage
Brian from Essex (12 May 2017)

To be fair the cottage is superb, however, had we known it was on a busy road we would have chosen another property.
Chris from Daventry, Northants (28 April 2017)

What is there not to like, it is a wonderful little cottage in a lovely part of norfolk. Everything there that you need and all to a high standard. Perfect
Mark from Holbeach, Lincolnshire (20 March 2017)

Perfect location to explore north norfolk. Shops and pubs right on your doorstep. Brilliant dog walking spot 30 seconds from the cottage. We will be back!
Michael from Spalding (28 October 2016)

We enjoyed staying in the cottage which was comfortable and offered value for money. One or two very small things irritated us.the shower head was very dirty and blocked so the water trickled..i cleaned it but a new head or descaling required. The larger bedroom has black mildew growing around some of the ceiling lights...needs treating and cleaning. There is a hole in the floor, albeit under the carpet, in the larger front bedroom..disconcerting when you tread in it. And we needed a fish slice when cooking the omelettes in the kitchen. Kitchen very well equipped apart from missing fish slice. But a quiet location and we enjoyed our stay.
Patrick from Derby (21 October 2016)

The only downside, was the very busy road, (a148) adjoining the estate. . very difficult and dangerous to cross at times, an accident waiting to happen.
Jackie from London (14 October 2016)

Really enjoyed staying in the cottage; next time I come to norfolk I would strongly consider making another booking if available.
Angela from Surrey (08 August 2016)

We had a wonderful time at cobblestones. The cottage was a dream! it was lovely to be able to sit outside for breakfast then walk with the dogs before wandering into holt. Perfect!
Carolynne from Kesgrave (18 July 2016)

Lovely cottage with great access to holt and great for dog walks.
Confirmed Guest (01 July 2016)

Would probably come back (again) but feel the cottage is not as well cared for as in past years. It wouldn't take too much effort or expense to attend to several issues that hit the eye... damp spots on the ceiling, dirt around window cills/frames, bathroom tile grouting needs attention etc. and I feel the price is getting a bit high for what's on offer. The small bedroom really is small with no storage. The bed undercovers and pillows were not as clean as they should be with some staining.
John from Johnstone (17 June 2016)

We loved this holiday cottage and thought it was in a great location, and beautifully decorated with really thoughtful touches such as lovely handsoap, lots of loo roll and dishwasher tablets which really make a difference. Shame there was no toilet on the first floor though, but it was a really lovely holiday.
Katy from Wroughton (03 June 2016)

Pleasant and modern holiday cottage, located in a handy position for the town. Toilet has a very poor 'flush'; and the supply of hot water to the kitchen sink was a somewhat lengthy process.
Phil from Peterborough (27 May 2016)

We enjoyed our stay again in cobble stones. We liked the changes that have been made since our last visit. We had a little difficulty with the door lock as the spare key is worn as is the lock itself. (it seemed to me) . we hope to visit again some time.
Confirmed Guest from Stafford (20 May 2016)

Very well equipped cottage in an ideal location for exploring holt and the surrounding area including coast, countryside and nt properties. Good pubs and shops within easy reach.
Mike from Radcliffe On Trent Nott'S (13 May 2016)

We want to go again, for a third time ,for us the best location of any property we've stayed in and we've done a few hundred
Mervyn from Stevenage (11 December 2015)

Excellent
Heidi from Clacton On Sea (16 November 2015)

Perfect location opposite holt high street but located up a small track backing onto fields with lovely walks if you have a dog. Courtyard was shared but again ideal, if you have a dog. Close to wells (beach cafe includes a dog bath ) , holkham, blakeney and brancaster. personally, I wouldn't have white throws on sofas !!!
Confirmed Guest from Guildford (31 October 2015)

We had a great time at this beautifully presented cottage. Conveniently located just on the edge of town, we will definitely return.
Judith from Diss (19 October 2015)

The cottage would have been even better with a couple of chairs/stools in the main bedroom, a couple of small tables in the living room (for drinks etc) and a fruit knife in the kitchen. but these are very small niggles, and we enjoyed our time there.
Caroline from Bristol (09 October 2015)

this cottage is excellent value for money and we will use it again for our visit to the forties weekend at the north norfolk railway
Jennifer from Bishops Stortford (21 September 2015)

Good location. Notice about being towed away in the car park disconcerting and attitude when this was raised even more so. Could do with internet connection as this is now part of daily life.
Jack from Penrith (14 September 2015)

All fixtures and fittings of very good quality making it a very comfortable cottage in ideal setting for our holiday-if we go to holt again would be happy with cobblestones except we are getting a bit old for stairs & the hot water took some mastering- overall excellent.
Michael from Lowestoft (11 September 2015)

Would we go again?... you bet!. great time had and the cottage is a perfect little place from which to enjoy the area. it is next door to a "nature reserve" where you can take your dog but also only a minute-or-two walking to the shops in holt. We don't usually stay in the uk for holidays but this cottage and it's location is a contender for a repeat visit.
Nick from Lincolnshire (07 August 2015)

Perfect location within a short walking distance to the lovely town of holt. Cobblestones was well equipped, and the initial problem we had with the hot water was rectified within the hour after reporting it. And a call from the owner checking all was well. Very good customer care. I would use this property again if I ever found myself in the area.
Holden from N E Derbyshire (17 July 2015)

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped and provided an excellent base from which to discover the delights of the north norfolk area. Our only concern when booking the cottage was having to share the outside space with 3 other cottages but as the weather during our stay was on the cool side we never got the opportunity to sit outside. . the location of the cottage is first class (something we had checked before booking) it is only a 50 yard walk to holt main street where there are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. It is handily placed on the a148 so providing easy access to the surrounding area. We would certainly use this cottage again.
Howard from Newcastle Upon Tyne (26 June 2015)

Couldn't get the oven to work, and micro-wave oven faulty (for e.g. Doesn't rotate properly). very pleasant cottage in an ideal location, however, this year the owner has converted a small bedroom to a double bedroom which is really too small and without wardrobe storage. As a consequence the rent has been significantly increased... hence the comment about value for money. Would be happy to stay again.
John from Johnstone (19 June 2015)

Very nice little cottage, well equipped and only a short walk to holt. A pleasant few days spent here.
Katy from Northampton (22 May 2015)

This is a fabulous cottage. Quiet and very well equipped. We stayed in march 2015 for four nights and had a really outstanding stay. Warm and cosy. The lovely small town of holt main street is a mere two minute stroll from the cottage with lots of lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.
Stewart from Bristol (27 March 2015)

A cosy, warm cottage. It felt very welcoming and accommodated 4 adults. The décor is attractive, beds are comfortable as is the seating. The interesting, small norfolk town of holt is only a couple of minutes away with lots of cafes, shops available.
Sheila from Farnham (27 February 2015)

Lovely little cottage. very cosy and welcoming, clean and tidy with good facilities. our only gripe would be the lack of internet. wi-fi would have been great.
Nick from Edlesborough (23 February 2015)

A beautiful comfortable and cosy little cottage, which is only a few minutes walk into holt. Only negative comment is the shower and safety of stepping onto a wet floor
Sandra from Chelmsford (20 February 2015)

Great cottage, good location. The shower was the only thing that let the property down.
Confirmed Guest (16 February 2015)

Very warm and comfortable cottage in great location.
Michael from Peterborough (13 February 2015)

Perfect location, best ever after 45 yrs of cottaging!. definitely want to return
Mervyn from Stevenage (24 November 2014)

Excellent cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Asked for high chair cot etc as took 18 month old grandson. All were there along with a basket of toys which he loved. looking forward to going again in 2015 for longer next time.
Maureen from Flitwick (20 October 2014)

A lovely, well equipped cottage in a superb location for all that beautiful holt has to offer.
Sharron from Guildford (17 October 2014)

Perfect for all our needs.
Fred from Chesterfield (03 October 2014)

Cottage location and cleanliness couldn't be faulted but this is not a four adult cottage. The smaller of the two rooms is about a foot wider than the bed that's in there and as there is no headboard the pillows keep falling down behind the bed.
Dave from Washington (05 September 2014)

Overall we loved the cottage, and especially the meadow at the end of the lane. could have done with lots of small things - olive oil, a cafetiere, more than one dishwasher tablet, a pint of milk. also the duvets were far too thick for a summer cottage, and none of us liked the down pillows.
Mike from London (29 August 2014)

The cottage was just what we wanted, clean and well equipped. Location was great with the centre of holt just 2 minutes walk away, with lots of restaurants/pubs/shops on hand. Also a good base for visiting the coast.
Michael from Cardiff (22 August 2014)

Beautiful cottage, very nicely decorated and close to the centre of holt. Could have been improved by wifi, and the throw blankets in the living room smell of feet, but everything else was spot on. If I was returning to holt I would stay here again if there was wifi. Had a very nasty run-in with a neighbour because I mistakenly parked in his space (i couldn't find the correct one at first-it's right by the gate, so i'm not sure how I missed it!). he was agressive and made my 4 year old son and I cry, and continued to shout at us after we started crying. This is not a reflection on the cottage but I include it so no one else will make the same mistake. don't park in space 28!
Rachel from Stratford Upon Avon (15 August 2014)

It's right by the town. There are lovely places nearby. Great attention to detail. My only complaint was that I phoned to check if there was a cafetiere as I would have packed one and I was told that there was one and there wasn't. But hardly spoilt the holiday, a great week. Thanks .
Mel from London (01 August 2014)

Great location and very comfortable accommodation.
Ken from Chingford (04 July 2014)

I had a great time in norfolk. The cottage was in a ideal position for enjoying all surrounding countryside and the town was just a few minutes walk away. I stayed with my daughter and the cottage had everything we needed , very well equipped. I was pleased that the kitchen had everything I needed. The only thing was that the "welcome pack" explaining how the shower , cooker worked, where the spare keys were was not in view when we first arrived but when we found it , it had all the information we needed. I would stay here again.
Teresa from Peacehaven (27 June 2014)

Have now had summer and winter break at cobblestones. Very well equipped and comfortably furnished for 4 people and friendly dog(its a shared courtyard). great location. Highly recommended.
Vivien from Colchester (13 June 2014)

Perfectly located close to the town centre. A bonus meadow walk nearby too. Great for visiting the local beaches. We were lucky enough to enjoy good weather also.
Nicola from Peterborough (02 June 2014)

The cottage was clean and cosy and ideally situated to explore north norfolk b
Jason from Hemsby (28 April 2014)

Lovely clean quiet little cottage in a nice location. Only 2 little gripes, every time we had a shower or bath the fire alarm went off, and I was a bit concerned about the blinds in the bedroom as we had a small child. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and my little boy didn't want to go home!
Karen from Salisbury (11 April 2014)

Excellent cottage, quiet but very close to centre of the lovely town of holt. Easy access to norfolk coast and all local amenities.
Ann from Thorverton (14 March 2014)

Lovely and warm, cosy . a great birdwatching holiday.
Patricia from Enfield (28 February 2014)

We were very comfortable at the cottage. And we would happily stay there again. .
Emilie from South East London (21 February 2014)

Very warm and comfortable cottage. Well situated. Second bedroom a bit small but not a problem. Beds and sofas very comfortable. Good range of kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Would have been glad of some added protection on the garden gate eg. Chicken wire across the lower half as it is quite close to a busy road and our dog is small! just a suggestion!
Vivien from Colchester (25 November 2013)

The cottage was lovely but there was only 2 of us and I do not think it should be marketed as a cottage with 2 double bedrooms. The second bedroom was only big enough to contain a double bed with no where to put clothes.
Jane from Wellingborough (18 October 2013)

The only problem was the very small second bedroom with very little storage space. Everything was clean and fresh, warm and comfortable. Perfect location for exploring holt and north norfolk.
Catherine from Norwich (11 October 2013)

The cottage was generally ok! good location! the bathroom had a continual smell . there was no personal touch. Cleaner was not helpfull.equipment needs reviewing.
Brian from Leamington Spa (04 October 2013)

This had a great location, just around the corner, you were in the town & yet it was relatively quiet- just some noise from the road. Minus points for us were that there was no internet access (& poor mobile phone service) which I consider to almost be essential nowadays. Also the shower over the bath was rather poor. No instructions for the dishwasher & we couldn't work it out so didn't use it.
Rachel from Corsham (30 August 2013)

Fantastic location - walking distance from holt and its shops and able to walk the dog from the cottage. Very neat and cosy house with very comfortable, big bed in the main bedroom, the second bedroom only really for one person.
Anne from Oxford (26 Jul 2013)

New items since we last stayed which just made our favourite cottage even better!
Stewart from Narborough (06 May 2013)

So close to the town centre
Jo from Newmarket (01 April 2013)

Ideal location, close to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Very snug cottage, visited in november and found it warm and cosy. everything you need in kitchen; games, books, dvds and plenty of literature about surrounding areas. Perfect spot for sightseeing.
Pat from Nottingham (23 November 2012)

Within walking distance of holt. Nicely appointed kitchen area.
Elaine from Stevenage (20 August 2012)

Booked this cottage to follow-on from a camping trip, so the cycle store and washing machine was particularly useful for us. Really liked the location as there is easy parking for local trips and it's very close to high street for walking to supermarkets, deli's etc. There's also a lovely local nature reserve just behind the house.
Andre from Wells - Somerset (17 August 2012)

Very well located for holt town and for getting around north norfolk
Graham from Leeds (21 May 2012)

In very cold weather it was lovely to come back to, warm and cosy.
Customer 66 (February 2012)

Very comfortable accommodation, close to all amenities, pubs, shops etc. Only niggle was the bathroom being downstairs. Excellent location for sightseeing, short drive to the coast and other places of interest (as well as the shopping in Norwich)!
Customer 67 (November 2011)

The cottage was in a perfect location both for walking into Holt and for visiting the coast. It is also great for an Autumn/Winter break as it is such a cosy cottage---couldn’t have been better--we were very comfortable!
