This was a clean, comfortable and accessible holiday home, which is highly recommended. there could have been rather more kitchen equipment - we would have appreciated more microwave/ pyrex dishes for cooking. Customer 1 from Upminster Essex (14 July 2017)
Lovely clean well equipped cottage. Fantastic peaceful location in beautiful wells . we would highly recommend costal hideout. Julie from Doncaster (07 July 2017)
We spent a lovely week at coastal hideout. The accommodation is comfortable, well maintained and in a good location. Secure and spacious off road parking was a real plus point for us along with the toddler/baby equipment provided. Thanks for a lovely holiday Neil (30 June 2017)
Lovely stay. The cottage was clean and well equipped and in a great location, only a 2 minute walk from the centre of wells. Graham from Kent (16 June 2017)
Loved the cottage. The two negative points i'd like to mention. . firstly,. quite a few plates were still encrusted with food, two thirds of the cutlery and a couple of pans. Seeing as we'd arrived that day, when we travelled considerable distance and we were tired it was really frustrating to have to wash by hand the encrusted food. . secondary. The ensuite shower, because of the shower rain water head being fixed meant that some parts of the shower floor didn't get very wet. Therefore any spillage of shampoo, etc wasn't washed away. As a shower floor can get slippery anyway, it would be very useful to have a grab rail in there. I noticed someone else made this comment previously. It would definitely have been useful when I slipped on the last day, hitting my lower coccyx. Maybe a disability stool(don't rust) would be useful for the unsteady/infirm. They're about £30 in argos/boots. Being such a large room, it could sit in the corner somewhere out of the way, when not in use. Even to use when drying ones legs, as the floor tiles are the same as the walls, so therefore very slippery. Personally, i'd use it in the shower, then dry myself too, in the shower. Michelle from Camberley (02 June 2017)
A comfortable and spacious bungalow in a quiet location. Just a short walk to town, facilities and beach. Michael from Hereford (26 May 2017)
A great place for 4 to take a break with a short walk to the centre of wells Graham from Aylesbury (19 May 2017)
Loved the house. Great open plan kitchen lounge and diner. The rooms had very little storage. All the wardrobes were half size so we had a lot of stuff, bags and shoes, hanging round the room edges. Beds were comfy and firm though! the location was just great - 5 mins walk from the quayside. so much to do in the vicinity too - we spent one day travelling down to ranworth broad, then all the others within 15 mins of the hiuse Stephen (21 April 2017)
An enjoyable few days stay in a very clean and well presented cottage. A good base for the places we wanted to visit on the coast. Geoff from Doncaster (24 March 2017)
Great little base for exploring beautiful wells and beyond. Tom from Northampton (20 March 2017)
You can not fault this cottage, immaculately clean, superbly equip and a stones throw from everything wells-next-the-sea has to offer. The owners have paid great attention to detail in providing everything you need to have a relaxing, carefree break. Highly recommended. Clare from Maulden, Beds (28 November 2016)
Great place to stay all on one level, short walk to shops/pubs and waterfront what more could one want Andy from Romford Essex (21 October 2016)
Open plan, bright, airy and well equipped. Wells is a lovely place to stay and coastal hideout is a perfect place to stay and enjoy the experience. Melinda from Kettering (23 September 2016)
The best holiday accommodation we have stayed in, in all the 27 years we have been having self catering holidays. our second holiday in this excellent bungalow. everything you could wish for and spotlessly clean. Joy from Dartford (16 September 2016)
Well equipped cottage in a great location. The little things that let it down were the beds, king size one on one side uncomfortable and noises springs and the very low uncomfortable one in back bedroom. We had a very nice stay wine biscuits nice touch. Little tweets to things like fridge light working change of water filter would have added to a great stay. Would come again . Joanne from Sheffield (09 September 2016)
We had a fantastic holiday. The cottage was exactly what we needed and we didn't have to move the cars once during the week because everything was in walking distance. The cottage is perfect for families and young children (we have a 1 and 3 year old). the owner is extremely helpful and provided things that we would need to save us taking them i.e. Booster seat for the dining room table. we had such a good holiday that we have already booked again for next year! Michelle from Nottinghamshire (02 September 2016)
Coastal hideout was very clean and well laid out, with lots of cooking equipment and entertainment. . . the children really enjoyed the table football and we watched a different film every night. . wells is a lovely small town with many gift shops and cafes. The ice-cream was fab and we ate in the sands restaurant which was really good. We didn't get to sample french's fish and chips but it was always very busy. . I recommend no. 1 at cromer for excellent fish and chips. . I would stay here again. Alison from Wolverhampton (26 August 2016)
Really lovely break had everything we needed. Table football a huge hit with big & small family members! lovely central location. Jeanette from Haverhill (05 August 2016)
Our family of 5 really loved our time at coastal hideout. It felt comfortable and homely straight away and there were lots of useful things around for the kids. It is very well equipped. It is also very well located for exploring both by car and on foot. Would highly recommend a stay to anyone. Kristianne from Sheffield (29 July 2016)
Lovely holiday would definitely go back. Susan from Halifax (22 July 2016)
A great location and very well stocked cottage. Very helpful owners. Confirmed Guest (08 July 2016)
Third year of visiting, absolutely love it! great facilities and a short walk to everything in wells. Highly recommended. ZoŽ from Kettering (01 July 2016)
We travelled with a toddler of 20 months and were delighted to find the property well equipped with toys to entertain him (and us!), and with plenty of space for him to run around safely. the cottage was very comfortable, very clean and extremely well equipped. the owner was very helpful with any queries we had. the location was great, only five minutes' walk to the quayside. altogether a wonderful place to stay. Alison from Stonehaven (24 June 2016)
Great location on edge of wells, clean and well laid out. nice little extras like hairdryers and extension leads in bedrooms. Roy from Rotherham (10 June 2016)

A great place to stay, really comfortable and well equipped. Pauline from Chester (29 April 2016)
A great location. Owners very helpful. Grandchildren did not want to go home. Marion from Buntingford (15 April 2016)
Really great holiday cottage in a lovely seaside town. Couldn't have asked for more! Will from Haslemere (08 April 2016)
We loved the property, it is well presented throughout and very comfortable. However, we thought that the kitchen was badly kitted out. No large pans/frying pan for example. However there was a flan tin :). . thank you. Xxx Zoe from Ely (23 November 2015)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Bill from Berkhamsted (23 October 2015)
A very considerate owner. . we had one small problem in the garden, but once aware of it the owner promptly used text to contact us and the local gardner came to quickly resolved the issue. . could not have asked for better service. Confirmed Guest (18 September 2015)
Had a great week great location would come back again Amy from Dartford (11 September 2015)
Lovely cottage but although comfortable and well placed, definitely not the luxury cottage it is presented as. Michael from Kent (21 August 2015)
We enjoyed staying at the coastal hideout because the bungalow was very near to the town of wells and easy to reach other places of interest. The whole experience was pleasant and welcoming. The bungalow was well maintained and pleasant to stay in. Ann from Essex (07 August 2015)
This bungalow is situated in an excellent location for easy access to the shops, the quay and only a few minutes walk to the globe or crown. Although it is small, the owners have planned the accommodation exceptionally well and it is very well equipped. We brought 4 bikes with us and it was reassuring to be able to lock them safely in the bike store, along with our bike trailer. There is ample storage in the kitchen cupboards and a full-size fridge. It is a shame there is no garden, but gardens are a rare find in wells. . our only frustration was the curtains in the bedrooms which are unlined so do not block any light out. This is a problem in the largest bedroom as this is the only room big enough to take a travel cot. So if your little one needs to nap in the day, or is used to sleeping in a darkened room at night, you will need to bring something to put up at the windows to block the light out. The owners have put a blackout lining on the curtains in the small twin room. Joanna from Cambridge (29 May 2015)
Fantastic property for children as all on one level. Within easy reach of town and sea. Loads to do within wells and along the coast. Perfect hol. ZoŽ from Kettering (15 May 2015)
This is a very pleasant property in a good location. we also liked being within walking distance of the town and beach. this is one property we would return to. Alan from Spalding (01 May 2015)
This cottage was the perfect place for a four day break. It is clean, cosy and warm and has everything in it you need, a home from home. The location is fab for wandering around the small town of wells which was lovely and we enjoyed many walks on the beautiful beach. We were also able to drive to different places within easy distances. There was a few lovely tea shops and a couple of nice places to eat, in particular 'the golden fleece' in wells where we ate two out of the four nights with our 3 yearn old and were made to feel very welcome with the most amazing food as well. It was cold out but always lovely to come back to a lovely warm house and relax for the evening. Caroline from London (20 March 2015)
Lovely holiday home a lot of thought has gone into making people's stay a happy one. The owner's where very helpful with anything we needed to know before we arrived. We would certainly recommend and will be hopefully going again next year.very clean and nice to have off road parking. Claire from Leicestershire (13 March 2015)
The cottage is cosy and comfortable. It is very well equipped and is in a good location for walking to the harbour and local shops. The welcome pack was much appreciated as was the excellent communication from the owners beforehand. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to others. Lin from Blackwood (06 March 2015)
Despite the weather, wind, rain, sleet and snow it was good to have warm cosy accommodation. Wouls like to visit again. Confirmed Guest (06 February 2015)

Lovely property nicely presented and comfortable. would definitely stay there again. only slight criticism was driveway not really big enough for 2 cars. Confirmed Purchaser (03 November 2014)
Beautiful and very comfortable property, with lots of thoughtful touches that make it memorable for all the right reasons. The owners were great at communicating information on the property beforehand, which made it very easy for us. Fantastic location - just a short walk from wells quay. Lots of places to visit a short drive away. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Rachel from Peterborough (05 September 2014)
We spent a fabulous week at the coastal hideout in may 2014. It was perfectly equipped for families and could be adapted for small children. open plan but cosy at the same time. Wells has everything required for a great break with children and the coasthopper bus service perfect for trips out if you don't wish to use the car. The owners were very helpful and sent out useful information well in advance of our arrival. a bottle of wine and chocolates awaited us on our arrival; a lovely touch! would definitely use again! Zoe from Kettering (16 May 2014)
Excellent and we would definatly return! Amanda from Sittingbourne (07 March 2014)
An amazing place to stay, clean and comfortable and one of the best we have stayed in, my only comment is that a little more microwave and cooking/serving dishes would have been good but this would not put me off staying again as soon as we possibly can! Amanda from Sittingbourne (07 March 2014)
