Wonderfully idyllic setting by a church and duck pond this spacious apartment has newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom to the highest standards. Run by lovely lovely people, this property is perfect for peace & quiet. Elizabeth from Cardiff (14 March 2017)
Lovely large property great location would love to go back in summer and take advantage of the beautiful garden Jean from Barnsley (25 November 2016)
The apartment was well heated, comfortable and suited our location ideally within easy walking distance of the beach and a lovely garden. we found the shower attachment to the bath hard to convert from bath to shower and back again and it would have benefitted from a tumble dryer which could have been installed on the lower landing as the kitchen did not have room. apart from that, it was well furnished and had everything we needed. Jacky from West Sussex (27 October 2016)
We have stayed at this location many times before and it maintains a very high standard for a holiday rental flat. John from Ottawa (08 October 2016)
Very comfortable and made most welcome. A very spacious apartment with everything we needed. Sue from Brentwood, Essex (20 August 2016)
Church haven ticked all the boxes for our family ! comfortable and spacious ,and quiet accommodation ,beautiful surroundings , near a lovely coastline for walking and days out .the useful shops in hunstanton and pubs in old hunstanton are a great help too . the owners are friendly and helpful . the holiday was just too short ! thanks very much for a great time . Marion from Thames Ditton (10 June 2016)
We loved the property and the location. it was very warm and clean, ideally situated for the beach and pubs/restaurants in old hunstanton, and to go further afield by car. we will definitely return. Victoria from Huddersfield (02 April 2016)
Excellent location and a lovely warm and comfortable apartment to return to after a day out. Sheila from Gloucestershire (28 February 2016)
Lovely and welcoming owners. More than you could expect and far far better value than any hotel. It's like living in your own holliday home for a few days. . would definitely recommend. Jon from Coventry (24 January 2016)

Lovely location and great place to stay. Has everything you need for a great stay. Very comfortable, warm and welcoming. Zara from Rugby (20 October 2014)
We had a fantastic holiday. The cottage may appear slightly dated but it is very comfortable. The owners are lovely and welcoming. During our stay we saw rabbits, foxes, bats and dogs all on the front lawn. Old hunstanton beach and the lighthouse are not more than 5 minutes away, probably less depending on how fast you can take the country lanes! Lorna from Leeds (18 July 2014)
Lovely place in great location - booked for next month already! Mark from Leicester (01 June 2014)
A really spacious apartment, which was most agreeable with four adults. ok, the kitchen is not the most modern in terms of the cabinets, but the appliances all worked, and with microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, what more could you want? we enjoyed the little homely touches - pretty ornaments, interesting pictures on the walls. and the owners and people around were very welcoming. Karen from Haywards Heath (22 February 2014)
We have stayed at both the church haven properties over the past 10+ years. The location is delightful and the owners are friendly and helpful. John from Ottawa, Canada (26 October 2013)
Excellent accommodation. Welcoming hosts. Charming setting. A little tricky to find. Would highly recommend it. Barbara from Pittsburgh, Usa (12 October 2013)
Excellent, quiet and tranquil holiday simply the best. Ken from Taunton (28 September 2013)
A spacious apartment, with lots of room for our 20 month old to run around. Lovely quiet location, surrounded by countryside views, with a large garden for playing in and lots of parking space. Easy to access the beach in 15 minutes, as well as nearby brancaster in the car, which has a fantastic beach. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, although the cot provided was only a travel cot, not really big enough for a nearly two year old, and with four adults sharing, a second bathroom would have been useful. The only niggle was that there wasn't much soundproofing between floors and the noisy floorboards meant that we could often hear the occupants in the other apartments, especially at night, and i'm sure they could hear us in the early mornings! in peak season, the price seemed rather steep, but I think if you were there when the price was lower, you would feel you had value for money. Kay from Oakham (17 August 2013)
Quiet. Georgina from York (15 Jun 2013)
Large and spacious. . excellent location. The details should mention that wi-fi is available. Peter from Sheffield (01 Jun 2013)
The property is in a quiet location, within walking distance of the sea, very comfortable and warm. Owners on site and very helpful. Have used this place twice and would come again. Customer 29 (September 2012)
Near to nature reserves, beaches, etc, very attractive property and location Philip from Brackley (11 August 2012)
The property was beautiful - spacious, clean and well equipped. The owners lived downstairs and were very helpful. Customer 31 (May 2012)
Nice place to get away, cottage a lot larger than the photo’s make out. If you want wifi internet pub 10 minuets walk, mobile phones not very good in the area. Customer 32 (April 2012)
Lovely first floor flat within very old house set in magnificent grounds. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need for two people. An additional toilet, at least, would be useful if four were sharing. Kitchen had all the necessary appliances, etc. but there was only really room for one person to work in it. Customer 33 (February 2012)
This was a really clean and large apartment, the owners made us very welcome . The location was perfect with total peace and quiet, bit a few minutes walk top the village pub and shop and another five minutes to the beach. The only recommendation would be to provide the owners land line as their mobile reception is very poor. Customer 34 (October 2011)
We had a lovely break - v beautiful place from the outside and Old Hunstanton is gorgeous, amazing beach walks. Inside isn’t that modern (but nor is it country cottage esque) - so if you want a real country cottage experience I wouldn’t choose this one, but location great, owners lovely and very clean and comfortable. Customer 35 (October 2011)
Beautiful location and property. A short walk to the end of the lane, is where we boarded the bus hopper (which runs frequently) to visit other areas along the coastline. Enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return soon. Customer 36 (June 2011)
Exceedingly clean and comfortable, in pleasant surroundings. Customer 37 (April 2011)
This is a beautifully clean and comfortable flat with gorgeous views over the village church and surrounding countryside. The owners made us very welcome, and even took us to see the resident population of herons! Customer 38 (February 2011)
Excellent location, large rooms and very clean. Customer 39 (February 2011)
Very quiet and private. Spotlessly clean. Everything worked as it should! Customer 40 (October 2010)
Very spacious apartment, quiet & relaxing. Customer 41 (October 2010)
Very peaceful location, near to beach. Customer 42 (August 2010)
Property very well looked after. All furnishings and equipment in excellent order. Everything clean and tidy. Customer 43 (July 2010)
This is a beautiful property; spotlessly clean, warm, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The owners are extrmely pleasant and helpful but not at all intrusive. The property is set in a very attractive and peaceful location, however it is very close to amenities such as village shop/pub. Customer 45 (April 2010)
A lovely property is a wonderful setting. I’m not sure the photos do it justice as it was much larger than we expected. Would be happy to recommend it. Customer 46 (April 2010)
Lovely period property in a quite location, large rooms very clean and neat and tidy however could do with modernisation of bathroom and room decor - it is a bit 1980’s. Customer 47 (April 2010)
Very warm and well equipped. Good location-rural but close to shops etc. Customer 49 (February 2010)
The setting of the property was idyllic, however the layout and the furnishings were not very homely. Everything was very clean and in good condition its just the place needed a bit more of a feeling of cosiness. The living room was huge but had hardly anything in it except for settees, no lamps, small tables etc so it looked very plain. Customer 50 (September 2009)
Location, condition and equipment. Customer 51 (September 2009)
It was light and airy with plenty of space - brilliant. Customer 52 (June 2009)
It was light and airy with plenty of space and very quiet - it was brilliant. Customer 53 (June 2009)
A very homely and welcoming atmosphere. Customer 54 (April 2009)
Fantastic property for a family holiday. So much space, it was wonderful and a definate chance of returning in the future. Customer 55 (May 2008)
Wonderful property, beautiful area, so peaceful and quiet yet very near to the sea and pubs and restaurants. Customer 56 (October 2007)
