Basic cottage but good for a base to see the island. Paul (28 July 2017)
A lovely cottage, everything you need and a gorgeous courtyard to spend the evenings in. Jamie from Cambridge (26 May 2017)
A great location for short break only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The cottages are in lovely courtyard setting with rolling fields with plenty of space for my four children to play and ride their bikes. Helpful owner too. Jason from Billericay (06 April 2017)
Rustic cottage, beautiful surroundings, great for a unfussy family who don't mind a few rough edges, not completely suitable for disabled or elderly because there's not a low level shower and the local beach is down a track with steps to the beach that would be quite a challenge to anyone vaguely unsteady on their feet. we ended up driving out every day to the fantastic beaches around the island, avoiding the single track roads where possible! . the cottage isn't huge, but as you are there to get out and about it's enough. wifi was pretty hopeless, as expected in rural surroundings, and the kitchen could be better equipped, maybe a large family sized saucepan and a handle to the grill would do it. The major issue for us was the shower, as the 82 year old we brought with us was unable to use the shower over the bath so struggled to keep himself clean all week. if it is advertised as having a walk in shower, that's what there should be. Apart from that, a charming place to stay for a holiday. Marie from Leicester (19 August 2016)
Cherry cottage for our family was in a great location. We love the country side and the farm was ideal. there was even a horse at the back of our cottage which my grandson loved . the owner of the farm could not have been more kind and her farm house breakfast an excellent start to the day. she was so friendly and although the accommodation was slightly dated it was adequate for a holiday cottage as we spent more time outside than inside. Diana from Croydon (03 June 2016)
The cottage was clean, but needed a deep clean to get rid of the colony of spiders that also lived in the property. Bedding and towels were clean. Sofas and beds were not especially comfortable. En-suite did not have a shower as stated in the advert. Had to purchase £10 of electricity as soon as we arrived despite the claim that it was included (only £4 on meter)-owner did reimburse the difference when asked on departure though. Location is lovely, but the courtyard arrangement means that you can see and hear other holidaymakers. The 2 star rating accurately reflects what you get. Rebecca from Durrington (11 September 2015)
Super amount of freedom for the children, owner pleasant but the cottage was too small for the advertised 6 people and more importantly needed a deep clean. The double bedroom en suite desperately needed the damp issue addressing which had resulted in mould on the bed head wall and a need for redecorating. Margaret from Market Bosworth (04 September 2015)
We had a great holiday in a fabulous location. Confirmed Guest (07 August 2015)
Lovely location ,handy for sightseeing and local pub and shops.big grassy area which the grandchildren loved running around on. Ann from Redhill (13 April 2015)
Set in a very good position near the sea. there are 8 cottages in close proximity, with safe central courtyard for children to play, but nice and quiet in september when we stayed. all you would need for a short break on the south of the island, and would stay again. only 2 of us so plenty of room in the cottage. Linda from Bournemouth (26 September 2014)
Perfect accommodation for families. easy access to some wonderful beaches and walks. plenty of parking. ample washing lines available. Walkable distance to brighstone village for shops and pub meal. bbq available. didn't use the tennis courts as tennis shoes were needed. a fabulous holiday would love to go again one day. Kim from Northampton (08 August 2014)
Lovely cottage and very well equipped . we will be back next summer . would definitely recommend ! Viola from London (29 September 2013)
Fab 4 day break with in- laws, so having everything on one level was great. The owner sue was very welcoming. The showers were terrible - and one toilet kept breaking down, but to be fair it was fixed straight away each time. Stunning location and easy to get everywhere. Great set up with all cottages in a courtyard - privacy if you want it, but a chance to see others too. Would definitely stay here again - maybe just a different cottage. Indeira from Warsash (30 August 2013)
We enjoyed the holiday. The owners were friendly and welcoming, but there were problems with some of the plumbing. Catherine from Reading (02 August 2013)
