We enjoyed a lovely holiday in this cottage. It met our needs and the area is lovely Lesley (05 May 2017)

Ideal for a family get-together type holiday. Lots of room for individuals to have their own space. . this has been the best cottage we have visited for kitchen equipment, books, games and what-to-do information. There is not a pub in the village but "bring your own" works fine. Although it is a bit off the beaten track it is very well placed for all the main attractions such as nt properties, the coast and the broads. We all enjoyed our time there very much. Trevor from Cambridge (07 April 2017)
Fantastic property for a large group, very child and dog friendly with a great meadow walk just behind the church opposite the property. The beds are comfortable and there are enough bathrooms to match the numbers. Kitchen equipment better than most holiday cottages we've stayed in. Cosy fire[placed sitting rooms and kitchen/diner kept everything social and fun. Owners have a very comprehensive guide to all local amenities with shopping needs met in holt a 5 min drive up the road. We had a great time and highly recommend the property and location. Ewan from Bury St Edmunds (17 February 2017)
Very good. Highly recommended. Emma from Heathfield (16 September 2016)
Great cottage for larger groups and with a car very accessible to lots of local family activities and beaches. Would be a little quiet without transport. Sarah from Romford (02 September 2016)
The cottage is spacious and has a great garden for children and dogs to play safely as it is fully enclosed. there are a few items that are showing signs of wear and tear around which could really do with an overall inspection/snagging list and repair, most caused by guest not taking the appropriate care. some areas of cleanliness particularly one disgusting issue in most of the bath rooms. the area is well situated for country side and coast, all of which is in easy reach, great beaches and wildlife reserves, if you have dogs norfolk as a county is one of the most amenable I have found. golf courses are around and quite good, played western park, very nice and only £15 wow. Mark from Hemsworth (29 July 2016)
Cottage was great - lots of space and facilities Gary from Romford (15 July 2016)
A few items of maintenance as expected with an old cottage, but in general the pro pretty has bee tastefully upgraded. Peter from Romford,Essex. (08 July 2016)
Lovely cottage, very well equipped, and a beautiful garden. Electric aga took a little practice to use and it would be helpful if it a note could be left that it must be left on to avoid having to wait for it to be up to it's optimum temperature. The owner was extremely helpful with the aga and dealt with the issue quickly when we arrived and we couldn't get in ! location was central for exploring but disappointing that the village didn't have much of a community and that there were no footpaths for us to use. Claire from Northamptonshire (27 June 2016)
Stayed here for 3 nights, 3 couples and 3 under 5's. lovely house, supplied with everything you could ask for. great space, loads of room and garden is amazing if you get good weather. . . location is quiet and peaceful. although this does mean you have to drive if you venture out. . . we were sorry to leave. would definitely stay here again, superb find! Michelle from Corby (06 June 2016)
An excellent weekend, perfect cottage, good location and we were exceptionally lucky to have the best weather so far this year. we will definitely return. Confirmed Guest (09 May 2016)
An excellent base from which to explore north norfolk. a very well appointed and spacious property which accommodated 6 adults and 4 children with ease. owner could not have been more helpful / flexible too. If pushed for a negative, the hob top cooking area was slightly smaller than i'd have expected. No qualms about recommending the property to family and friends. Chris from Shenfield (02 May 2016)
The cottage met both families expectations, it was large enough that the children could use one lounge and the adults another. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a fantastic dining table. The wifi was excellent, and the large garden allowed the children to lay various ball games. The cottage is ideally situated to visit comer and other coastal resorts, and only 45 minutes from norwich. Overall excellent value for money Peter from Rochdale (09 April 2016)
A very pleasant stay. the cottage was spacious and comfortable, but freezing cold when we arrived as there was no heating on at all and it took some time to warm up. good location for visiting north norfolk. quiet rural location. there were a few maintenance problems which should have been dealt with. Barbara from London (15 February 2016)
I rented chapel cottage for my birthday weekend with a group of 8 friends. We had a great stay overall. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, with plenty of space and nicely decorated rooms. There were just a couple of small problems/ changes I would recommend to make it even better. First, after a long friday-night drive up from london, we were unable to work the key in the front door. This resulted in waiting 45 minutes in the cold car whilst the owner's partner then a local carpenter came to sort out the problem (and apparently this wasn't the first time this had happened!). second, once we got into the house, it was ice cold- the heating and arga-style oven was all turned off which wasn't very welcoming and resulted in another phone call to the owner to figure out how to work the oven- by this stage we were tired, cold and hungry- not a great start to the weekend! finally, the open fire in the sitting room smoked terribly- and is probably in need of a good sweep! so much so that we couldn't sit in that room and didn't light a fire for the rest of our stay. It's a real shame that these issues arose as the cottage is really lovely and I would certainly return or recommend it to others. Lydia from London (07 February 2016)
Fantastic property within really easy reach of local activities. We stayed as a group of three families and there was more than enough space for all of us in terms of bedroom sizes and living/ dining arrangements. The two separate lounges and huge kitchen/ dining area were great. The owner, steve, was more than helpful and even went to get the kids buckets and spades for our trip to the beach. He also sent us fantastic directions to get there. We will be back! Tanya from Berkhamsted, Herts (01 February 2016)
Very well equipped and comfortable . all things provided like bed linen and towels were excellent quality . would definitely like to stay here again Catherine from Norwich (14 December 2015)
Great house in a lovely part of the world. Equipped to within an inch of its life. Large garden and ample parking. Good for dogs. Fifth bedroom is wee and off fourth; with both serviced by a steep staircase. Really enjoyed staying there. Rob from Banbury (10 July 2015)
