Had a lovely stay in this comfortable cottage, a little tricky to find but well worth it!! Confirmed Guest (31 July 2017)
We found the cottage to be of real joy ,a real gem and could not fault it with one exeption, that there should be a warning that the hot water is almost of a scauld nature and should be signed so its warned for children/elderly Tony from Leicester (16 June 2017)
Very comfortable cottage in a brilliant location for hill walking. we'll be back. Andrew from Edinburgh (15 April 2017)
The cottage is warm and comfortable, the only sounds that you hear are the sheep, wind and rain, so quiet, perfect place to relax. you can walk around the farm or travel further afield. we have been twice and shall be going again. Dave from Melton Mowbray (25 March 2017)
Second time stayed in this cottage and loved it! Confirmed Guest (24 September 2016)
Well situated near to beautiful betws-y-coed, which has a stunning river picnic area. Beds very comfortable and very clean! lots of equipment in kitchen. Tea bags provided! quiet location. Great for access to snowdon, and the lovely villages nearby e.g. Llanberis with its mountain railway up snowdon (nb very expensive) and electric mountain. a nice base for exploring beautiful north wales. I Love The Countryside from Near Burnley (26 August 2016)
Lovely spot that's nice and quiet. Ideal for walking the dog in the morning. Mark from Sheffield (20 August 2016)
The whole place needed a thorough clean. Dust and cob webs all over the place. Becky from Capel Curig (25 July 2016)
Disappointed with accomodation. Budget but damp and no outside space Richard from Ware (09 July 2016)
Nice little cottage in lovely, peaceful location, easy access to betws y coed and capel curig / moel siabod. . kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, mattress not v comfy, wouldn't want to cook much in the oven as very slow. . overall very nice place, just a few things let it down. Debbie from Chester (31 March 2016)
Great location for walkers, a few cobwebs but kitchen seemed clean. Bedrooms small but nice. Had to boil the water - not sure if that is a temporary thing. Not great views as windows small but good view from outside (a part from the skip!). instructions for the oven and tv would be helpful (remote has symbols rubbed off!). had a brill holiday, can recommend the pont y pair inn in betws & petes eats in llanberis - slate museum too. Confirmed Guest (30 October 2015)
A lovely little cottage, had everything we needed plus more. In such quite settings, which was fabulous. Not far from anywhere really, just a drive. A lovely walk to the ugly house or down to swallow falls. Carole from Newport Isle Of Wight (29 August 2015)
Dirt and dogs hairs all over the bed sheets in one room and the carpet in living room, lots of dog hairs under the doors and stairs . need of a powerful hoover and a good hoovering /cleaning before we got there. overwise great location and well stocked . washer /dryer great bonus. Joanne from Essex (22 August 2015)
Lovely location enjoyed our stay Natasha from Basingstoke (15 August 2015)
We enjoyed it Magdy from Altrincham (06 April 2015)
Brilliant cottage, fantastic location, can walk out the back. Lots of equipment including a washer dryer - very useful. Lovely and warm to come back to after a day in the mountains. Would definitely stay again. Kim from Taunton (21 February 2015)
A clean, comfortable well-equipped cottage. We did wonder if the cottage would be warm enough because it is heated only by storage heaters, but we needn't have worried because it was very warm. Met the friendly owner (and his dogs) on several occasions. It was nice that he called to make sure everything was alright. He also gave us some directions for walking. The cottage is in an excellent location whether you want mountain walks or more gentle strolls along the river. It's a lovely stroll along the river to siabod café and cobden hotel (the latter has real ales) and a longer but pretty easy walk along the river to betws-y-coed. Michelle from Bolton (04 October 2014)
The cottage was not as shown on the internet the steps inside are to steep the sofas are so old it was like sitting on the floor the for poster bed needs a new mattress the toilet was broken the curtains were so old and dirty they didn't fit the windows the outside area the furniture was dirty the grass and weeds hadn't been kept down so we couldn't sit outside as we use the cottage as part of our holiday we was very very dissatisfied we would like some compensation as this spoilt our holiday . I think you need to go and look at the condition of this property and get it sorted. Look forward to hearing from you. Sandra from Dagenham Essex (13 September 2014)
An excellent property in an excellent location. Be aware that the internal steps are quite steep but other than that it was the perfect place. Steve from Winchester (21 June 2014)
Beautiful quiet spot Elaine from Halifax (10 May 2014)
Lovely welcoming cottage in a stunning location. Well-equipped and comfortable, but over-enthusiastic use of cleaning chemicals was a bit overpowering until all the windows had been opened. Some of the furniture joints have dried out and need attention, and the grumpy dvd player refused to co-operate. Jack and rough the dog next door were very welcoming, but we never did meet the owners .having said that, the location is ideal for llanberis pass, the reasonably priced and friendly swallow falls hotel, and you have your own woods and stream on your doorstep. Lesley from Pembrokeshire (21 March 2014)
Been 3 times more than happy..got to know next door tenents and farmer-lovely people Ivan from Ipswich (15 March 2014)
Brilliant location, central to our activities. Definitely stay here again. Chris from Wirral, Mersey Wide (21 February 2014)
Well located cottage for exploring snowdonia. Warm, welcoming and well equipped. Les from Whitstable (04 January 2014)
Lovely well equipped cottage, close to snowdon and slate mines. Remote location. Ideal for quiet relaxing holiday with plenty of local walks Nigel from Huddersfield (24 August 2013)
Owner provided clear helpful directions that enabled us to locate cottage without any difficulty first time. The arrangements around arrival times and acessing key were not pressured for time of arrival. Bryn gefeiliau is located in remote hillside with 2 adjoining cottages. There was no intrusive monitoring, which we appreciated being left to do things in our own time. The cottage itself was very much appreciated from the point of view of the good range of equipment made available, cleanliness, and the concept of how well it has been designed and furnished. It was a nice suprise to find a four poster bed. The mindful owner has left up to date information leaflets regarding local activities (these reflect current prices and opening times). . this lovely cottage is appreciated by each visit (fair weather or foul)as recorded in its visitor book. It was of note that some families continue to return each year. . we would wish to visit again. . . Ruth from Stafford (15 Jul 2013)
Amazing walk out of the back of the property with views of the hills and mountains. Marguerite from Bradford (12 Jul 2013)
Situated in an amazing area of outstanding natural beauty Paul from Poole ,Dorset (22 Jun 2013)
Nice place surrounding people nice. Lyndsay from Ipswich (13 October 2012)
Lovely view, easy to get to different places, Teresa from Clacton On Sea Essex (15 September 2012)
As above David (23 June 2012)
Good location and comfortable. The decor is more modern than it could have been for a converted barn but nicely unfussy and well furnished; plenty of cooking kit. Friendly. Would benefit from a small enclosed sitting area just outside the cottage so that you’re not right in the farm yard. Overall, very good walking base. Customer 32 (March 2012)
Lovely location, clean and compact little holiday cottage. Customer 33 (September 2010)
The walks around the cottage were lovely, nice hot water for bath/shower. Customer 34 (August 2010)
A lovely, well-appointed little cottage in a delightful setting - ideal for our purposes (4 people and 2 dogs). Customer 35 (April 2010)
In a peaceful location. Very clean, well kitted out (sofas were uncomfortable). Only saw caretaker once at the beginning but did not not need her services. Would certainly recommend it. Customer 36 (August 2009)
Lovely location, all the conveniences, pity the sofa’s were not more comfortable! Customer 37 (July 2009)
A nice cottage in a beautiful location. Everything you would expect plus a warm welcome with fresh milk, tea, coffee and Welsh cakes to greet you. We have been previously and will be booking this cottage again. Customer 38 (March 2008)
An excellent place to get away from it all and enjoy the mountains. Customer 39 (February 2008)
We had a lovely weekend, the cottage was great and in a really good location. We have already booked to return in the summer. Customer 40 (February 2008)
Everything wonderful, except for the fact that the sofas were very uncomfortable! Customer 41 (November 2007)
Lovely place, out of the door straight onto the moors, loads of walks without taking the car. Perfect. Customer 42 (March 2007)
The cleanest, most well stocked holiday let ever. Customer 43 (March 2007)
A brilliant conversion of an agricultural building into a charming cottage, well-furnished and with many thoughtful touches. Friendly people (and dogs!) and a delightfully quiet rural location. Customer 44 (February 2007)
Very nice and quiet, love to go again. It was great to take the dog out in the middle of the night and everywhere pitch black except looking up at the stars. Fantastic. Very central for everything too. Lovely four poster bed. The kitchen very clean, in fact everywhere was very clean. Would recommend this place to anyone. Customer 45 (September 2006)
The only prolem we found was the sofabeds in the living room were quite uncomfortable to sit on and relax for the evening after out all day walking about. Apart from that everything else was fab. Customer 46 (July 2006)
