A lovely place to stay with everything one could need. Mr & mrs conway were available and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend brixton barn to anybody considering a holiday in the isle of wight. Barbara from Rochdale (24 June 2017)
We heartily recommend this cottage, we enjoyed our stay although we were perhaps slightly early in the season, the owners christine and colin were most helpful, without being intrusive so " happy days" go enjoy ! gill and pete Peter from Boxmoor (10 June 2017)
Great holiday, looks better in person than in pictures and feels larger. Owners were lovely, friendly but also gave us our space. Kathryn (03 June 2017)
Lovely spacious cottage for two people in a great location. well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge/dining area, large bathroom with air bath & power shower cubicle. several outdoor seating areas with table & chairs, ideal for catching the afternoon sun whilst having a read! Julie from Birmingham (08 April 2017)
Wonderful. We have visited the island several times, first time without children. The barn is a fantastic home from home, wonderfully appointed and offers a luxury stay. The facilities in the property are top class and compare with **** star hotels. The location is great, and with the size of the island you are close to everything. For walkers the location is great as there are many coastal and inland walks that can be done from the location without having to drive. The village is great to explore and the local history is a big surprise. Local pub the three bishops as within a 5 minute walk and the food and ale is very good. We will return. Tim from Sutton Coldfield (29 October 2016)
We had a thoroughly relaxing break in this peaceful location. The owners were friendly and helpful. everything in the cottage was perfect. better than 'home from home' hope to go again next year. Ann from Redhill (07 October 2016)
We had a lovely stay in brixton barn. it was nicely decorated and well equipped and very comfortable indeed. the location was ideal for touring the island. brighstone is a very pleasant village with a good village store and pub and nice walks. the owners of brixton barn made us feel very welcome. they were there if we needed them but were not intrusive in any way. Alan from Flitwick (24 September 2016)
The barn is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the village for a pub, shops, walks, and buses if needed. the accommodation itself is well furnished, equipped and decorated, with its own tiny, well kept private garden. The owners, who are on site, are helpful and welcoming and anxious not to be intrusive. it is a barn: well converted, but with the limitations that such a building has. In this case, the sloping ceilings in the bedroom means that getting round the end of the bed for one of a couple, involves stooping. other than this, a great place to stay with all necessary mod cons. Maria from London (09 July 2016)
Owners could not have been more helpful, but we always stay somewhere new!! Confirmed Guest (25 June 2016)
A great cottage in a great location. The owners are warm, friendly and helpful. We hope to go back in the future. Pete from Nottingham (18 June 2016)
This was our first time on the isle of wight and we could not have chosen a nicer place to stay, the area was gorgeous and the barn was lovely, comfortable and had all the little extras to make it special. the owners were really nice and very welcoming. we would definitely stay here again. Jacqui from Stanford-Le-Hope (11 June 2016)
I would definately recommend brixton barn to anyone thinking of staying on the iow. it is a lovely mix of the rustic with its wood beams and stone floors, and the modern with its well appointed kitchen and jacuzzi bath. a very comfortable base for your holiday. David from Fareham (04 June 2016)
Very comfortable and well equipped. Situated in charming village with good local amenities. Near beautiful coastline and scenic local walks. Overall excellent for visiting sites of the island Mike from Suffolk (23 April 2016)
