Felt as its the summer a barbie should be provided . have been coming to property for many years 3 to 4 times a year, there has always been barbie in situ.we had to go out and buy one as when we booked 2016 july barbie was listed... ` Heather from Manningtree (04 August 2017)
Needs a deep clean as paintwork was a bit grubby. Fingerprints on doors etc. . . ornaments and flowers a bit dusty. . boiler was noisy when sat in garden. . access tricky for a big car, maybe take the walls down?. . otherwise lovely place and would visit again. Teresa from Northampton (17 July 2017)
Very comfortable cottage with attractive spacious garden, both full of interesting features, making this cottage a very unique place. Brian from Badford (16 June 2017)
We had a lovely time in this gorgeous cottage. It is a bit remote and at first this worried us, but we loved it. Mobile phone signal was non existent , but that was actually nice. the wifi was fine and kept us in contact when needed. We would definitely return to this house, and hope to do so in the future!. lots of lovely pubs around to eat in, and lots to do out and about. Absolutely fab holiday ! Maryann from Saffron Walden (09 June 2017)
A beautiful holiday home with a stunning, large garden. Real home from home. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Peace and quiet yet only a short drive to holt and the beautiful beaches of north norfolk. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this has been by far the best. Perfect for the dogs too as the garden is so big and fully enclosed. Didn't want to leave! Rachel from Buckinghamshire (26 May 2017)
Enjoyed our time at the cottage especially the peace and tranquility of the garden. Diane from Colchester (19 May 2017)
Lovely cottage and garden. In a quiet hamlet with great walks but within a short distance of busy holt. Carly from Newmarket (07 April 2017)
Enjoyable week at brambles need a car to get anywhere but very nice and relaxing especially after the heating wa fixed Dawn from Chesterfield (31 March 2017)
Very comfortable well equipped cottage. Lovely garden. Ideal for family with dogs. Not far from north norfolk coast Sue from Essex (03 January 2017)
The cottage was delightfully decorated in a country style and was in easy reach of holt, which is equally charming and well equipped to suit every taste. We should certainly like to come again. Jan from Eastbourne (18 November 2016)
Brambles is a well equipped cottage in a wonderful location, we would certainly stay there again. The only criticism I would make is that the entrance to the driveway could be wider to allow better access out on to the lane. Otherwise, we had a lovely holiday. Confirmed Guest (28 October 2016)
Just what we wanted. Confirmed Guest (21 October 2016)
This was our second stay at brambles. Like another home rather than a holiday let. It is very well equipped and cosy. An additional bonus is the delightful secure garden and summer house, which is perfect for chilling out. Our two greyhounds loved it. We enjoyed it so much that we intend to return again next year. Sandra from Rochester (30 September 2016)
We had a lovely week really quiet. I loved the summerhouse. Customer 14 from Warks (09 September 2016)
Excellent cottage, well appointed and in a lovely location Steve from Derbyshire (02 September 2016)
Fantastic, will definitely be back next year! . (hopefully it will have a new bbq by then!!) Robert from Potters Bar (17 June 2016)
Location was ideal and peaceful. garden was perfect for the two dogs, did "what it said on the can". summerhouse was a great space for afternoon teas. everything we needed was provided. Richard from Bashley (10 June 2016)
Due to having a rather wet week, we were unable to dry the towels properly after our baths, we were only given 1 large towel each, not enough to wash and dry 2 children and 3 adults. More towels could be available or a tumble dryer would have been very helpful. Sue from Holland On Sea (03 June 2016)
From the photographs brambles looked lovely, but it was farer nicer in reality! the house is very comfortable, I can't think of a thing we couldn't find. the garden is fabulous, our dogs were in heaven and we loved the summerhouse - perfect for sitting in when the weather was a bit cool. The peaceful setting is lovely and we weren't too far from amenities, but that's part of the fun of a holiday anyway, finding places and experiencing the area. The owners were extremely helpful, coming to our rescue when the tv wouldn't work (we are manchester united fans, we think the tv was a norwich fan!) and when we thought we had a problem with the heating. all in all the perfect way to spend a spring week away from home. Lynda from Manchester (27 May 2016)
We had a wonderful week at brambles, the weather was lovely and we really enjoyed afternoon tea and cakes in the summer house. We found several walks with the dogs around footpaths and local roads. . the house was very comfortable and also very well equipped - nothing else needed only sunshine and we were lucky enough to have that. Susan from Ipswich (13 May 2016)
Second time staying at brambles. Lovely cottage. Marj from Tring (06 May 2016)
We had a lovely week in brambles, enjoying the nearby attractions and have a relaxing time in the gardens and cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and there were plenty of accents and trinkets to give the cottage a homely feel. Clare from North Lincolnshire (08 April 2016)
We had a great week at brambles. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. we visited in march but the central heating was easy and efficient to use and we were always warm and cosy. there was plenty of off road parking as well. It was spacious enough for our two small grandchildren to play and the lovely garden and the sun house was enjoyed by them and our three labradors. we loved all the little ornaments based on the seaside theme and they made the house very much a home from home. We felt at ease there from the minute we arrived and would have loved to stay longer. the location was spot on, lovely and quiet when we were in the house but with very easy access to the coast at cromer etc. a lovely week for us all! John from Lincoln (01 April 2016)
Arrived on monday for a short break, first things first was to check the security of the back garden fences. Decided to close off the bottom section as our dogs could easily have jump the fence (smaller dogs should be ok unless they have a habit of digging). house was nice & warm on entry - thanks for putting the heating on - quick check to find basic items & within a short time we were settled. Dogs soon found toys in garden lol. Realised at night that the lights outside aren't sufficient, most of the garden was near pitch black which made seeing our two near impossible. Location is good for access to the local amenities ( holt), couple of nice places to eat there too..kings head & the feathers. Short drive required to find good places to walk the kids, informed by a local lady to be careful on low heathland as the adders were out..also gave us local vets number, very nice of her to take the time. 30 min+ drive gets you to the coastal areas where you can find plenty of walks both on & off the beaches. (be aware that access to/ from the beach at cromer is restricted due to work on sea defences but if you walk far enough along you can still get down there). we had a slight issue with the heating on our second day there but information in the yellow folder told us how to sort that out, overall everything was great. Would definitely revisit, lots of places of places that we didn't get round to seeing. Confirmed Guest (24 March 2016)
Nice little cottage, although needed to contact owner as no heating. Promised fuel for log burner, but had to buy our own. Dog hairs on over blankets, we didn't take our dog in the end. Neighbours were not very friendly, but can understand when they moaned about noise from guests. We promised, we were very quiet. Annie from Colchester (14 March 2016)
Brambles was perfect - great location, lovely cosy warm cottage and huge garden. it was really well equipped with everything we might need and lots of little personal touches. we really enjoyed our stay there and will book again. Rebecca from Southampton (07 March 2016)
A lovely, well furnished, home from home. ideal for those with dogs, thanks to a large well fenced garden. no long walks right from the door, but lots close by. Diane from Cambridgeshire (04 March 2016)
Had a lovely week, it has everything and a good location. Will be booking again. Tracey from Norwich (05 February 2016)
My husband and I had a lovely break at brambles even though it was winter with dark nights we were warm and comfortable in this cosy home. We were in a rural setting but soon found our way about with lots to do and see. The house was well equipped and especially in the lighter nights and summer months I can see that this would be (and was indeed) a lovely place to stay for a restful break. Joyce from York (14 January 2016)
We had a lovely new year in the brambles cottage, it was like staying at a home from home with everything we needed making our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Victoria from Milton Keynes (03 January 2016)
We had a wonderful time at brambles. Tina (14 December 2015)
Comfortable house, quiet location in a beautiful area. house was very well equipped. Could have done with some fire lighters and kindling for the first evening though. Nothing else to criticise which is pretty impressive. Jennie from Pulborough (27 November 2015)
Wonderful place to stay with a dog and/or children. huge garden, well laid out. probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed at. Only criticism would be difficulty of finding cottage in the dark from the given directions (as our garmin satnav was quite a way out). easiest way to find it is to look for the bright white illuminated wall of barn cottage and brambles is immediately opposite! Peter from Abingdon (20 November 2015)
The cottage is comfortably furnished and ideally equipped for a holiday let. The long garden is well kept and suitable for both children and pets alike. Given its proximity to the north norfolk coastline the property is within easy reach of the seaside attractions of cromer and sheringham. Richard from Rushden (13 November 2015)
Lovely situation, very quiet in spite of other houses. Pets are accepted but it had been well cleaned before we arrived and there was little sign of any hairs etc. kitchen could do with one or two more pans with lids but otherwise a great base. Would definitely stay again. Michael from Wigan (23 October 2015)
An excellent place to spend a relaxing holiday. Robert from Peterborough (16 October 2015)
We loved the cottage. it is comfortable, the garden beautiful, bed comfortable, good space to park the car(s) too. the utility room came in handy too. the cottage has a lovely feel to it . would rebook. Jean from Buckhurst Hill (09 October 2015)
A great place to stay. So peaceful. The greyhounds loved the secure garden and the summerhouse was a real delight. Booking it again for next year. Sandra from Rochester (02 October 2015)
Lovely cottage and very well equipped. Lovely garden for kids to explore and very tranquil. Good base to explore north and east norfolk. Karl from Leamington Spa (25 September 2015)
Very well equipped, huge garden. All you could wish for in a holiday home. Derek from Romford (11 September 2015)
We have had a difficult year and desparately needed our holiday .brambles was very homely and comfortable .we all enjoyed the beautiful large garden and the peaceful . location. We only have small complaints .when we arrived windows were open but the . house smelt doggy.also we were lucky with the hot weather but were too hot at night,as the duvets were winter weight 12tog.we found a lighter one in the cupboard to change. Ours but there were none for the children's beds . Caroline from Ashford Kent (14 August 2015)
Well equipped, pleasant cottage. Would definitely stay again. Angela from Mansfield Woodhouse Notts (17 July 2015)
Extremely well equipped. Everything for families of all ages. Allan from Bedfordshire (06 July 2015)
Lovely cottage and superb garden for children and animals Edward from Brightlingsea (12 June 2015)
Very well equipped cottage ,lovely homely feeling ,loads of interesting nicnaks and novelty items around, glad I don't have to do the dusting though. Great garden 2yr old grandson loved exploring with our 2 poodles in tow. Valerie from Allhallows Rochester Kent (05 June 2015)
This is such a delightful cottage to stay at. It was so clean and well equipped. It was like home from home and so cosy. The garden is huge and the dogs were in heaven running up and down it's long length. There is even a summer house if you get the weather to enjoy it. It is within easy driving distance to places like cromer and sheringham and a few good pubs which do great grub. Would definitely recommend. Michelle from Leighton Buzzard (01 June 2015)
Stopped in many cottages and this was cleanest so far. Very well equipped John from Norwich (29 May 2015)
Only four day stay, unfortunately, but enjoyed every minute. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and nicely decorated. The garden was secure for our dogs and very pretty. The summer house was lovely in the evening catching the last of the sun especially sipping a g & t. Situated on a quite road it was very peaceful but still within easy reach of holt and the coast. The owner very kindly posted a phone charger we had left behind. Hope to return. Marjorie from Tring (15 May 2015)
Good cottage - well equipped and comfortable. good size rooms. Jane from Rayleigh (06 April 2015)
Lovely homely very well equipped cottage with all kinds of little extras. Difficult to find in the dark but we got used to it after the first time. It would be good to return in the spring and make use of the charming summerhouse and garden. I gave 8/10 for cleanliness as the windows on the door to the kitchen were smeared. Otherwise very good. Margaret from Ipswich (20 February 2015)
Delightful, cosy cottage. Very welcoming. Maire (16 February 2015)
A good location for are new years eve break central to all the places we wanted to visit. Cottage had everything you needed and more would like to return in the summer to see what secrets the garden hold Peter from Barton Seagrave (03 January 2015)
Home from home everything you need.clean and tidy. The garden is great for dogs but our dogs did keep pushing the thin wire around the hedge and we had to check on a daily bases so just be aware of that.we are already booked to return its that good! Heather from Manningtree (07 November 2014)
Very nice and cosy cottage in nice location Dan from Osborne (31 October 2014)
This was an excellent location for us. very peaceful, easy walks nearby, yet also accessible for holt and other towns. the house was well equipped with everything we needed. a slight complaint is there was no hot water from the kitchen tap or bath on the sunday and monday. we had to boil the kettle for washing up. we arrived 20 minutes before our predicted arrival time and were met with someone doing a small repair job who seemed a little put out that we were 'early'. however, once she left, we settled in quickly and had a very enjoyable stay. Meriel from Belper (22 September 2014)
Clean and tidy cottage, spoilt by lack of phone signal so felt very isolated, ( suggest a payphone ) for emergencies. having to buy fly killer due to an abundance of flies, not being able to open window's or sit outside because of them, grass in back garden not cut, and front garden very overgrown making it dangerous on leaving cottage by car safely. Jean from North Wales (12 September 2014)
A spacious, comfortable and well equipped house in a lovely quiet location with a large enclosed garden. We'd have quite cheerfully stayed for another week. Or two. Or lived there! :-) a very relaxing holiday with lots to do in the local area: parks, stately homes and gardens, fishing, beaches and tons of nice places to eat. Sheringham and wells were big hits, as were the muckleburgh collection of military vehicles, and amazona zoo in cromer. Top uk holidaying! Mark from Ryton, Gateshead (27 June 2014)
The cottage was in an ideal location not far from the seaside towns of cromer and sheringham. The garden was excellent for our dogs with plenty of room for them to run around in. We appreciated the summer house with views of the garden and the numerous tables and chairs for sitting outside. Overall we found the property to be clean and comfortable and would highly recommend it. Richard from Rushden (06 June 2014)
We had a wonderful stay at "brambles" lovely cottage, very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. However, we did think £50 for our two dogs a little excessive for a 4 night stay. David from Leicestershire (23 May 2014)
Really lovely cottage. Good location. Wonderful garden to sit and relax in. Michele from Chelmsford (28 April 2014)
Fabulous cottage, extremely well equipped, very family and dog friendly, probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in. I would recommend this cottage 100%. we could find no faults whatsoever. Perfect! Heidi from Solihull (25 April 2014)
A well appointed semi-detached house in the middle of beautiful norfolk countryside. the house is big with the kitchen/diner as the natural hub of the house. plenty of spots to park your bum for a leisurely read of a book - comfy sofa, kitchen table, 2 x patios and best of all, the summer house at the well tended garden. its so refreshing to find a house that accepts dogs and still maintains high standards. our dog had a better holiday than we did! exceptional. Leszek from Coalville (18 April 2014)
