The cottage needs some tlc to be honest .its the end of the season and the owner does not live nearby. The bathroom needs an overhaul.the towel rail needs repositioning near the basin so that the shower screen can be opened making it easier to get in bath.bath rails would assist too. We enjoyed the lounge /kitchen area which is a delight to be in. Now I have to say that the frying pan was disgusting .it was rusty and peeling non stick.health hazard.i left it out on leaving for cleaner to see.as mentioned in recent reviews the grill pan has no grill.oven needs cleaning too.the garden is overlooked. The info pack needs updating especially with regard to recycling.we were taking our bottles to the local recycling bins because the info pack said we had too.i then found out from resident next door the glass could be put in green bin. Sleep disturbed by residents going to work early. Terry from Sleaford Lincs (10 September 2016)
Excellent . we had a really comfortable stay and the location was perfect . would recommend it!! Tracy from Gloucester (03 September 2016)
The separate dining room is too far away from kitchen so not practical Confirmed Guest (30 July 2016)
The cottage was tastefully decorated and homely and for just two of us, there was plenty of space. The setting, about a mile from the village, was quiet and peaceful and within striking distance of the places we wanted to visit. It was our first visit to norfolk and we could not have had a better holiday. Barry from Salisbury (23 July 2016)
Fantastic cottage, very peaceful. Would love to return soon as I wasn't well and unable to appreciate fully. Thank you for lovely homely cottage v Christine from Milton Keynes (02 July 2016)
A very well equipped ,clean ,comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage ,will definitely be returning to bramble cottage Anita from Romford Essex (14 May 2016)
Comfortable, clean accommodation, near to the things we like doing on holiday Barbara from Ashford (23 April 2016)
A very enjoyable few days in this lovely cottage which has lots of character. Glorious late september sunshine was a bonus. lots of places to visit close by but the village itself is further away than given in holiday information. Would stay again if visiting the area. Jean from Essex (28 September 2015)
My wife and I have stayed in many self caterings, but this one was so well equipped it passed all expectations. The amount of electrical goods in the kitchen could not have been bettered. The beds were very comfortable. . . if I hade one complaint I could make it needed a good airing before we arrived. . otherwise it is a place we could easily return to. Graham from Redditch (19 September 2015)
A charming cottage in a great location Iona (15 August 2015)
A great cottage, easy to get to lots of attractions and the beach. Would highly recommend. Peter from Sheerness (08 August 2015)
We had a wonderful week. The cottage was perfect for us and our two young children. The garden was great for our toddler to run around and play in safely. On arrival, it was very clean and was equipped with pretty much everything we needed (apart from a dishwasher, but we knew it didn't have one when we booked). the location was great, very handy for lots of family days out including the beach, a wildlife park, two railways and bewilderwood. We definitely want to return. Fran from Haworth (13 June 2015)
Lovely cottage renovated to a high standard and keeping some of the original features. Excellent standard of furniture, beds and kitchen equipment, and a large enclosed garden too. Good location for great yarmouth, bewilderwood, africa alive, pettitts theme park and some lovely pubs nearby too (kings arms in ludham, bridge inn at acle, and ferry inn at horning all very good, with excellent children's play facilities). parking at the cottage was a little tricky at times - this is the only holiday cottage in the complex, all the others are now permanently occupied and although the welcome pack states that there are 2 allocated parking spaces, we usually got the last space each evening when we got home, and it was often difficult to park as some residents weren't very considerate with their parking (ie. Taking up 2 spaces). nothing is numbered, so no idea who's space is who's. And was a little tricky to find the cottages upon arrival, as the name on the entrance actually says 'pastures green', whereas the booking confirmation stated the address as 'the barns' and gave directions if you were coming from wroxham and through ludham, but we came from a different direction! luckily it was daylight and we asked someone that happened to be walking by, but in the dark, it would have been difficult to find as there are no street lights or outside lighting at the cottage complex. however, we had a very comfortable stay, and it's a quiet, peaceful location, close to some lovely places to visit and the coastline too. Sue from Andover (30 May 2015)
Lovely cottage for a quiet and relaxing holiday but right in the heart of the broads. Howard from Havant (28 March 2015)
Perfect quiet break. Property excellent . home from home Stewart from Oldham (20 February 2015)
Perfectly set up. Cosy and easy living for a few days visiting with family. Pretty location. Susan from South Korea (27 December 2014)
3rd time visit to bramble cottage. We love it there. Very well furnished and lots of kitchen equipment. Quite a remote location which is what we love about it. The wi-fi is a welcome addition. The plumbing is very noisy which is disturbing at first. Overall though a wonderful short break and no doubt we'll be back. Sandie from Basingstoke (15 December 2014)
This was our second short stay at bramble cottage this year. Once again, we had a totally relaxing stay, in a quiet, restful and very comfortable property. As vregular visitors to the broads area, we will certainly be booking at bramble again. Confirmed Purchaser (03 October 2014)
Very comfortable cottage in an extremely good position for exploring the northern broads. Virginia from Bembridge (19 September 2014)
The cottage is a charming barn conversion, tastefully furnished and well equipped, but for me it was spoilt by the bathroom, which was cramped and with an over-bath shower that was very difficult to access. No grab handles and a climb between the wc and the glass screen made every morning an adventure! Graham from Hayling Island (05 September 2014)
We had a very enjoyable week in bramble cottage. The cottage was comfortable and clean and in a good location to explore norfolk. Ben from Leagrave, Luton (16 August 2014)
Really nicely converted cottage, perfect for our family of four. Only a short drive to the nearest town (2/3 minutes) with a lovely pub/restaurant on hand. No complaints at all. Paul from Benfleet, Essex (02 June 2014)
The cottage was lovely, but finding if is very tricky! it was perfect for us with 2 small boys, close to all the attractions, only downside is that you can't walk anywhere safely, there's no tracks you can walk down, but we used the car, worth noting though if you like a gentle stroll, cottage itself was really warm & cosy, with everything you could need including a stash of books & dvds, also it does have wi fi, even though previous reviews say it doesn't, would re-visit x Confirmed Purchaser (10 May 2014)
We had a lovely week in bramble cottage. Ample size for 4 of us 2 adults, one 7yr old and one 13. I guess the garden is a little overlooked, but didn't bother us as everyone was friendly and a cheery wave made the day. There is another large area behind the other cottages to play in too. Location in the middle of the broads was ideal and we could head in any direction easily. Pubs for evening meals are a car journey with children as roads are narrow and it's a fair walk for little legs. Keen walkers would manage the 3 mile round trip. As we were out exploring the many delights of norfolk this wasn't an issue for us as we would eat wherever we ended up! we really enjoyed norfolk and if we decided to takle the long journey there again from cheshire, we would deffinitely stay at bramble cottage. Andy from Cheshire (12 April 2014)
Cottage was everything we had hoped for. Everything was thoughtfully arranged with all mod cons. Location perfect for us within broads area and although location is peaceful it is well connected to main routes. We will definitely be returning, god willing. Stewart from Oldham (23 March 2014)
We had a lovely stay at bramble cottage. . the cottage was very comfortable and very well decorated. The sofas were especially comfortable. The cottage was also . very clean!! our teenagers missed the wifi but the extensive dvd. Collection made up for that. My husband . and I enjoyed lovely walks. The village is 15 min away by foot. We enjoyed a nice evening at the kings arms in ludham for. Halloween where a great band was playing Bettina from West Sussex (02 November 2013)
A delightful cottage which was a treat to return home to each afternoon. Well equipped and cosy. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Susan from Waltham Abbey (03 October 2013)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at bramble cottage, we loved how the wooden beams from how old the cottage is ran through the whole place. It was very clean, everything we needed was there and although its not easy to get anywhere on foot it is a great location for getting to do some great things nearby with a car. We hired a boat on the broads at potter heigham, got a steam train from wroxham, went to bewilderwood and 3 beaches (yarmouth, happisburgh and cromer). we would definitely stay here again. Thank you. Michelle from Broxbourne (24 August 2013)
Very pleasent stay ,very nice accomodation, very clean and tidy, everything there that was needed. Would reccommend this accomodation to everyone . Dickinson from Spalding (17 August 2013)
Fantastic cottage, well equipped..couldn't be better.except for the location. advertised as 1/2 mile from village - is 1.5 miles from village and need to travel by car for everything which is disappointing - not safe on the country roads to walk and no paths at all. It was also a shame that all other cottages face on to the garden of bramble cottage so sitting in the garden in the glorious sunshine (which we had) was like sitting in a goldfish bowl..wasn't nice feeling that all was looking at us reading our holiday reads! Lynda from It Was Also A Shame That All Other Cottages Face O (27 Jul 2013)
Extremely well equipped and furnished with very high quality furnishings and utensils. Within easy reach of all local tourist attractions and villages. a very scenic and pleasant drive to the coastal resorts of cromer, great yarmouth, caister and lowestoft. Andrew from Sheffield (29 Jun 2013)
Absolutely beautiful cottage and setting. . very clean . very comfortable. Very well equipped in respect of cooking equipment. Very good value for money as you get a lot of cottage for your money. Perfect for two to four people if able bodied. Fairly dark skies, so good for night sky watching. Confirmed Purchaser (08 Jun 2013)
