The cottage was exactly as shown and described. It was very well equipped, including lots of board games and thoroughly clean though some areas could do with updating and some items were due for routine maintenance. The location is very good for walking and cycling and there is good access by road and rail to all the popular north wales resorts. The local spar shop is handy and although there is a pub in the village it was not serving meals on the monday we arrived so we didn't go back again. We found there was a better choice of eating places in nearby betws y coed that would also allow dogs. We had good weather for our stay and sitting reading in the rear yard area with views over the fields was very pleasant. John from Liverpool (20 July 2017)
The bins were full of rubbish. The cottage smelt musty when we walked in. There were snail/slug trails in the hall and in the kitchen. The ceiling in the second bedroom needed painting Lesley from Hazel Grove (09 July 2017)
Having used cottages before felt the beds were past it and the general cleanliness wasn't up to the standard we have already come across. Other than that the location was perfect, the information on local area was really helpful, and the wood burner was a delight. Generally speaking a refresh of this cottage would benefit it massively. Rachael from Bristol (13 April 2017)
A perfect location to enjoy snowdonia, and provides a comfortable home after a long day of walking and exploring. Has everything you need, and the spar shop has essential food bits. We loved our weekend here and would definitely stay again! Helen from Orpington, Kent (10 April 2017)
