We had a lovely stay at benar and will definitely be returning Sylvia from Blackpool (28 December 2014)
We really enjoyed our holiday - the cottage had everything and the location was great. Sarah from Kent (20 September 2014)
Benar is a fabulous row of 3 cottages completely off the road. You drive through a field of sheep to get there which is lovely, but once there, dogs cannot get to the sheep! the owners have prepared a helpful file of dog friendly walks around the cottages, & there are lots of more challenging walks such as snowdon close by. The cottage is great to come back to relax. It is well appointed & very dog-friendly. Claire from Holcombe, Bury, Lancs (13 September 2014)
Lovely cottage, good base for walking holidays. My family enjoyed their stay here. Confirmed Purchaser (16 August 2014)

Lovely cottage in a superb situation. The only problem was the track leading to it, but that was a minor difficulty! Confirmed Purchaser (12 October 2013)
Fantastic location, cottage spotless, owners very helpful and very dog friendly, and great walks with views from the doorstep, don't forget to bring bird food. We will definitely stay again. Clare from Potter (14 September 2013)

Beatiful little cottages, clean and comfortable, lovely welcome from the owners who do anything they can to help. The view over the vally is fantastic, very quiet, very peacful and a fantastic base for the Snowdonia National Park. Customer 17 (October 2012)
Excellent place to unwind in and due to its location. Handy for most places of interest. Birds were really wonderful and fascinating to see. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. David from Handy For Most Places Of Interest. (14 July 2012)
It is an excellent base for walkers and associated activities. Customer 19 (June 2012)
Nice welcome , clean cottage , nice area for a barbecue , friendly owner , quiet location Roqueta from Oundle (26 May 2012)
The property was fantastic, the little garden was nice and we could make a barbecue every day. If you like a quiet area, go to this cottage. The owners are very friendly and make us feel welcome. Customer 21 (May 2012)
A very well converted modest sized cow barn. It suited us, as a family of four including two small children, and a dog, perfectly. A quality craftsman has done the wooden furnishings in this property. Absolutely delightful surroundings, with beautiful views and pretty woodland walks from the door. Sleeping with the window open, and hearing the intermittent sounds of sheep and owls at night was lovely. Only thing to be aware of would be no washing/drying machine for clothes. Customer 22 (April 2012)
This is one of the best holiday properties that I have stayed in. The furnishings were top quality and everything was convenient to use. (Perhaps another cupboard in the kitchen instead of the mirror.) Customer 23 (June 2011)
This a lovely cottage, the owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. the provision of fresh milk, tea, coffee and cakes was a really nice touch. We had a fantastic ’get away from it all’ holiday and I have already recommended Benar to my work colleague. The only point I would mention is that as the cottage is located in an area which is approx. 5 mins drive into the local small town with no major supermarkets nearby- I would strongly recommend doing your shopping online before you go and having it delivered- we used Sainsbury’s and our shopping arrived on time with no problem! Customer 24 (May 2011)
Lovely cottage in a secluded setting. Very quiet. Everything you could possibly need is provided. A very warm welcome from the owners who live on-site. Definitely recommended. Customer 25 (March 2011)
Quality of accommodation and general area. Customer 27 (September 2010)
Quiet position and convenient for most tourist attractions in the area. Customer 28 (August 2010)
A beautiful luxary cottage. Customer 29 (August 2010)

Suitable for our needs. Customer 31 (June 2010)
Dog owner very pleased with availability of local walks in forest in immediate vicinity, and also pleased with attitude of owner towards dogs. Customer 32 (April 2010)
Very cosy. Fantastic woodwork. Good use of small spaces. Customer 33 (April 2010)
Rural aspect close to paths where we could easily walk our dog. Being away from the road it was very peaceful and quiet. Customer 34 (March 2010)
The property was well equipped, comfortable, warm and in a lovely area. Customer 35 (November 2009)
The cottage was very easy to get round and the hand made furniture was very sweet. The offer of cycle storage was much appreciated. Parking was good & the owners were very helpful and kind. Customer 36 (October 2009)
It was exactly as we expected it to be. Customer 37 (August 2009)
