Very nice, peaceful Confirmed Guest (05 August 2017)
A great cottage for a quiet break & somewhere we'll return to. Very comfy, clean and well equipped. Customer 2 (16 July 2017)
Lovely little cottage. Very well equipped. quite hard to find as it is hidden behind a high hedge which meant the cottage name could not be seen from the car. perhaps "opposite the shubbery" or something similar could be added to the location instructions. However this made the cottage nice and secluded. Jill from St Ives, Cambs (24 June 2017)
Only downsides were steep stairs and bathroom on groundfloor Barry from Bristol/Bath (17 June 2017)
Lovely cottage, lovely area,i scored amenities a 1 as nearest shop 3 miles. Had a lovely stay and would book again. Patrick from Wivenhoe (10 June 2017)
A lovely cottage set in a tranquil area Paul (28 May 2017)
Our 14th visit Margaret (06 May 2017)
Fantastic as ever Nick (25 February 2017)
Lovely well equipt little cottage in a great position for exploring the local area and going to the beautiful beach at southwold. . brilliant location for parachute jump at beccles airfield near by!! Confirmed Guest (06 November 2016)
Lovely but not the best without a car as buses few and far between and mile walk to bus stop....with car would be perfect! Gail from London (28 October 2016)
A very welcoming, cosy and very well-appointed cottage. the only downside was that it was quite a way away from southwold. . the town it was advertised as..and not within easy walking distance of any shops or restaurants, so a car was essential every day. I will just make sure that when I book cottages in future I ask the precise location. Miriam from Southampton (15 October 2016)
My son and I had a lovely week in april cottage. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The owners appear to have thought of everything. Gerald from Leicester (10 September 2016)
A nice cottage located well to explore the suffolk coast area. The cottage its self is all that is needed and is comfortable furnished, it is equipped to enable a full meal to be cooked or just for breakfast. The only negative is the noise from the road outside, particularly in the evening when it seems at times to be a cut through. Geoff from Watford (16 July 2016)
We did not stay for the full week because we considered the stairs to dangerous. the fact that the bathroom was downstairs meant that we had to tackle to stairs in the night. . the cottage was on a country lane that was used as a rat run between the a12 and beecles and was therefore very busy. not very good for a peaceful holiday. Brenda from Ongar Essex (02 July 2016)
A very cozy and relaxing cottage. Lovely views and wildlife to see. The only down side was the cars and other vehicles racing down the lane at times, but this was an infrequent occurrence. John from Southampton (25 June 2016)
April cottage is located in a quiet village which suited us. Rear garden was a patio backing on to farmland attractive to birds. Marsh harrier seen a couple of times. Very good cottage apart from the beds which we both found uncomfortable. Stephen from St Albans (11 June 2016)
A lovely peaceful cottage. Would stay there again. Henry from Liskeard (21 May 2016)
Very clean, very helpful contact, altogether a lovely little cottage, highly recommended. John from Bridport (06 May 2016)
Lovely cottage though I would have liked to have known that the bathroom was downstairs before I booked. the shower needs a pump to make it more efficient. it was cold on arrival and I thought there would be some logs there. however, it was a well stocked cottage otherwise and I was glad of the warm duvet, the dvd's, games, local information and welcome pack. a couple more chairs or loungers in the pretty garden would have finished it off. . however, I have recommended it to a friend - and hope it's dog friendly. Leigh from Canterbury (02 May 2016)
We loved our stay at april cottage and hope to book again in the summer. it is quiet, charming and well equipt, with lots of appreciated little extras. it is in a very nice location close to southwold etc and backs on to a field. it suited us to a tee! Anne from Bedfordshire (19 March 2016)
A comfortable, warm, cosy and clean cottage which we enjoyed staying in, the kitchen particularly was a bright sunny room overlooking fields. the garden was very attractive both to us and the birds which we enjoyed watching. Elizabeth from Wellingborough, Northants (12 September 2015)
We spent a lovely week, our first ever visit to suffolk. The cottage was reasonably priced and met all our needs and exceeded expectations. We had just one problem with a nest of wasps in the garden which the caretaker was good enough to warn us about as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately they were impossible to move, but again the lady in charge did her best and was very friendly and helpful in other matters. We would definitely recommend april cottage. Helen from Chorley (18 July 2015)
Great location for touring nice peaceful surroundings large well equipped kitchen diner Sian from Maidstone (13 June 2015)
Lovely cosy cottage in extremely peaceful setting with lovely garden and little patio area.. our little 1 year old loved toddling around the little paths and looking over into the field. Only a few miles from southwold and pub within short drive. Large bright kitchen (pics don't do it justice) and lovely cosy lounge. A few slightly dusty areas but nothing to get upset about and we will definitely be returning to april cottage. Vicki from St Albans (06 April 2015)
Nice comfortable little cottage with a surprisingly spacious kitchen which was well equipped in terms of cooking utensils, pans etc, all electricals worked well. Located close to plenty of places to visit easily and makes a great base for a cycling holiday, kitchen comes in useful as a secure location for clean bikes. Small courtyard / paved rear area, easy parking is to the side of the property within 10 meters. Bathroom has a good sized shower that works well. Road outside can have fast moving vehicles but didn't cause a problem for us. Internet worked well and was a useful touch, many other properties should take note. Shop is in the next village but only 10 mins away..near the angel pub..worth a visit. Overall a great place to get away for a while, better than anticipated..thank you. Robert from Harlow (16 March 2015)
My friend and I had a great time. She actually said that she would like to visit again. Confirmed Guest (02 March 2015)
Lovely homely cottage, well equipped and comfortable. Only downside was not being able to light the open fire, the fuel provided just would not burn despite using whole pack of firelighters. Also when booking we were not informed of check out time and consequently we were still packing when caretaker arrived at 10.40am which led to unnecessary embarrassment! Lisa from Croydon (20 February 2015)
A superb, quiet location. The cottage was warm, cosy and a suitable place for relaxation. The only negative was that the tea pots were rather tired and needed a good clean !! Peter from Snettisham (13 February 2015)
A lovely, warm and cosy cottage ideal for a relaxing break John from Lowestoft (09 February 2015)
A delightful, comfortable cottage in lovely surroundings but be prepared to drive to all amenities. Bernice from Basingstoke (04 October 2014)
A good location for a peaceful break in east suffolk. We never stay in the same place twice but enjoyed our week in april cottage. Karen from Ashtead (27 September 2014)
A great place top stay. Firset w/end we hadlatitude festival bearby but it din't impinge too much. Caly common is very handy for all suffolk's delights - especially lovely southwold! Confirmed Purchaser (26 July 2014)
The cottage had not been cleaned very well, with dust and dead insects around. The road outside was busy with cars roaring past from 6am and sometimes the early hours. It would not be safe for a young child as there was no fence or gate at the front. Melv from Rochester (19 July 2014)
Lovely quite and comfortable cottage, but the hedges needed trimming to improve the view over the fields. The rotary washing line needs to be in a better position as it cannot rotate where it is Julia from Witney (07 June 2014)
We have stayed at this property more than ten times. Margaret from Kingston, Surrey (03 May 2014)

The cottage was very pleasant, very well equipped, and in a beautfiul rural setting, near to some lovely places and the sea. Katharine from Bristol (06 Jul 2013)
Very well equipped up-to-date kitchen, modern tv, brilliant shower, good location, off-street parking Yvonne from Peterborough (25 May 2013)

Cosy & welcoming property with off street parking. Quiet road. Storage heaters & coal fire very good. Toaster failed & was replaced next day with a new one! Does not get much better than that. Good location for sights in the area. Lots of places to visit. Customer 52 (November 2009)
