This was a lovely cottage where you could escape from modern life. There was no wifi and no television which was nice - it was lovely to get away from it all. There was a supermarket roughly 15 minutes drive away and lovely restaurants in ste marie du monte. Great place to stay to see the beaches, cherbourg and bayeux. Be careful on the stairs which are quite steep.

Considering the price paid this cottage met our expectations, it was very well situated for the d day beaches and close to the village of st marie du mont, it was small but was suitable for us, it could have been cleaner but yet again the price paid put this into perspective, be warned no television in cottage fortunately we took a portable and media player to keep the kids entertained otherwise they would have been bored. We would definitely use again :)

Reasonable for the price.nice situation but local wildlife hunting and shooting disturbed some mornings peace and tranquillity.short drive to local amenities for morning bread.all in all a lovely stay.

Fantastic location, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely private garden, well maintained. Cottage comfortable and well equipped. Excellent location near to beach and WW2 places of interest.
