The only thing I would like to say is with regards to the wifi, we didn't realise it was switched off, I know we should have probably realised when there was no symbol on our devices but I thought the lady who showed us round could have pointed this out. also, I thought there was satellite tv so we could get some english programmes but didn't find them and it took us a few attempts to get the tv set up. we made do with the paralympics and there was a bit of english cover when they were up against the french competitors, the wheelchair rugby was quite good. Having to pay for the electric as a extra and the metre was not read Geoff from Nottingham (03 September 2016)
Cottage was as expected and suited our needs admirably. . the additional costs for cleaning and linen were perhaps a bit steep though we had been warned. we deposited 135 euros for a week's electricity and, thankfully, received 90 back - however 45 euros for a week of power is very expensive. Outstanding property, fitted out to a very high standard with a top end kitchen and tv system. Very comfortable lounge furniture and beds. Bernard from Milford Haven (26 September 2015)
Nice house and great location. wifi useless until the owner appeared. Some of the plugs appeared a little worn and we did get blamed for breaking the fridge when it was already broken. The settee was broken by the people before us. slightly worried about the water from the outside tap also. Great area for d day history and the beaches were lovely for the little ones just a pity about the weather. I have put yes for safety as no one was hurt but I think some of the wiring needs looking at. Ann from Southport (29 August 2015)
We had a great two week stay here in la cambe. The property is very spacious, especially as there were only four in our party. Not sure how it would cope with large parties, it sleeps 13, as there are only two toilets and showers. The kitchen is ultra modern and the lounge is very comfortable as were the beds. Bathrooms, toilets and showers were clean but would benefit from a refresh. Very large garden with plenty of patio furniture. . the property is ideally situated in a quiet little village with a bakery, butcher and small supermarket. All of the historical areas of normandy are within easy reach. Oh, and by the way, the table football is great fun. Mike from Lincoln (20 June 2015)
