Proprietors were very rude and disrespectful. demanding payment of local charges within minutes of arrival. took 3 days to respond to request for assistance as there were no towels as we had paid for and the internet password was not provided. one of our party was physically manhandled by the owners wife when they eventually came to resolve our issues and they were both verbally abusive. Customer 1 from Birmingham (08 September 2018)
The cottage was very nice and clean. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We did a lot of driving therefore was a good place to stay for s road trip. Rakesh from Kettering (11 August 2018)
Cottage was well equipped and clean, great kitchen and downstairs bathroom. the upstairs bathroom and downstairs loo may have seen better days. mattresses on the very firm side. Great to have a smart telly. Perfect location to explore from especially if you have an interest in ww11. . lovely patisserie within very easy walking distance for the morning bread and croissants. Lots of room for our family of 6. would stay again. Richard from Devon (02 June 2018)
Fantastic week staying here , visiting the d-day beaches, cemetery’s, and museums , a great little cottage, fantastic value for money, and the owners are very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay there again. Anthony from Holsworthy (05 May 2018)
The cottage is really two different houses, the downstairs is lovely, but the upstairs is only for people that really know each other very well,as they all run into each other, and the beds are for people that like sleeping japanese style, very low. On the whole a nice place to stay, very quiet, and in a central position for sightseeing. Confirmed Guest from Sheffield (21 April 2018)
We were a family of four adults and a 7 year old. the cottage had everything we needed for our week including a good range of cooking equipment. The cottage was comfortable with two different rooms to eat in. There were english channels on the tv which was a bonus. chef du pont had a boulongerie which was an easy walk away. All other essential shopping could be found a 5 minute drive away in st mere eglise. Gill from Tunbridge Wells (02 September 2017)
One of the nicest french places we have stayed in and the owners are really friendly. Everything you need inside, 5 good sized bedrooms and only 5 minutes drive from the super u. Lovely boulangerie in the village and just 10 minutes from st mere eglise. We will definitely stay here again! Victoria from London (05 August 2017)
10 of us stayed: 4 adults and 6 kids. 4 double beds, 1 single bed and 1 sofa bed. . good location as base to explore normandy. Lovely bakery in village and nearest supermarket 10 minutes drive in saint-mère-eglise. . upstairs bedrooms have no blinds on the velux windows so some improvisation with towels required unless you like to rise at dawn!. . good internet access at property included. . owners were lovely and house was great value. Normandy is a lovely part of france. Would stay again. Dan from Yorkshire (03 June 2017)
You cant fault this cottage at all. The couple were nice and friendly, the only drawback was they spoke no english they didn't return the breakage deposit when we were leaving my french is limited their english was worse so decided to leave without it. Terry from Pontefract (07 May 2016)

Kitchen, wi-fi, shower room and garden excellent. . sleeping accommodation unacceptable Tim from Newcastle (27 June 2015)
This was our third holiday in this region and the second holiday spent in this house. We had such a pleasant experience the first time that when we decided to return to the area, this was the only house we would consider. It is in a very quiet area, is very comfortable and in an excellent location to explore the Normandy area. It is furnished with everything anyone would need. Customer 12 (April 2012)
The general location as it was quiet but walking distance to local shops. Good base for exploring the landing beaches and Bayeux. Customer 13 (September 2010)
Typical French provincial family home in a quiet road with other home owner occupied dwellings. Customer 14 (July 2010)
Clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Customer 15 (July 2010)
The pictures on the website do not do justice to this house. The rooms were very large, beautifully furnished and exceeded out expectations. I would highly recommend this property! Customer 16 (April 2009)
Very beautiful house, good value for money. The house was central to what we all wanted to see. The owner of the house and her family were all very welcoming and very informative. The hotel in the village does a very good meal which is also very good value for money. Customer 17 (May 2006)
