The travel industry is always promoting various holidays. Generally these are holidays which aren’t selling very well, much like a high street shop really – if it won’t sell, reduce the price to get shot of it.

Sometimes a whole “type” of holiday isn’t selling very well, so a travel company may offer a fixed discount on all its products.
